As the name suggests, orderflow is the flow of orders in a stock or index which are being executed in live market.

Normal candlestick shows the candle open, high, low and close but not the actual buyer and seller activity which is happening at every price point.

Orderflow chart shows a deeper insight into a candle's price action by showing the volumes that are coming in at every price level.

Why is this information important?
1. As a retail trader, we would like to follow the steps of large players and institutions and see whether they are more inclined towards longs or shorts.

Following are the different types of Gaps.
1⃣ Gap-up
2⃣ Gap-down
3⃣ Common gap
4⃣ Breakaway gap
5⃣ Continuation gap
6⃣ Exhaustion gap
7⃣ Island gap

1⃣ What is Gap-up?
When the opening price is above the high of the previous day, we get a gap-up.
🟢How to trade?
➡️Trade in the direction of the gap-up as long as the price remains above the opening of that day.

2⃣ What is Gap-down?
When the opening price is below the previous day's low it's considered as gap-down
🟢how to trade
➡️Look for only shorting opportunity until the high of 15 min candle is not breached.

3⃣ What is the common gap?
When you see gaps forming within a range, then such gaps are called common gaps.
🟢How to trade
➡️Common gaps within a range will always get filled. so look for trading in the direction of gap filling

1/ Option Premium consists of two things:

i) Intrinsic value which represents how much money the option would be worth if it were to expire right now.

ii) Time value represents the premium you pay since the option does not expire right now.

2/ Intrinsic value:

•It is the difference between the strike price and the asset's current market price when the difference is positive.

•Intrinsic value for ITM calls> 0.

•Positive payoff for the buyer.

3/ Example of identifying ITM options:

4/ Time value aka Theta:

• Theta represents the time value decline of an options contract.

•Time value is the additional amount over & above Intrinsic value.

•Time value on an option with 20 days to expiry > Time value on an option with 2 days to expiry.

1. Technicals

Let's start by doing some basic technical analysis.

We'll look at:

• Weekly charts.
• Daily charts.
• Hourly / 60 min charts.
• 15 min charts.

1. Weekly-

• The market is taking a pause after 4 continuous bullish weeks.

• Can resume buying above current week high.

• Below current week low can be bearish and book profits quickly as this is the first pause after the upmove.

Longer term trend is bullish only.

2. Daily:

• Candlestick pattern—Bearish Marubozu on the daily timeframe.

• Chart Pattern—Broke last 3 days low decisively.

Sellers are in control so until we close above the red candle's high cant take aggressive bullish positions.

Here's a super setup with a ~70% win rate & very high R:R for Options Traders.

Name of this setup is - FSC.

Principle - The First 5/15 min candle of the day is very important. It gives a good indication of what is going to happen with that Index/stock in intraday.
One of the many types of candles is 'Strong' candle.

A strong candle is the one that either has no wick or has a wick on the downside (for green candle) or on the upside (for red).
Now if this candle forms in the first 5 min of the day, it's called FSC - First Strong Candle.

Entry Criteria - Enter at 9:20 am on the Stock forming FSC in 5 Min TF. Go long if FSC is green, short if FSC is Red.

Instruments - Can go with Options, Futures or even cash. Remember this is an Intraday strategy.

SL - low of FSC.

Trailing of SL - using PA-based pivots. You can use VWAP too.
