More from Trump
The US Supreme Court has ducked hearing the case of Trump, Texas & 17 other states, on a procedural issue
They did not comment on any recent newsworthy fraud allegations
Trump still refuses to concede, so what are his remaining long shot legal routes?
Read my THREAD:
....that, after careful study and consideration, think you got “screwed”, something which will hurt them also. Many others likewise join the suit but, within a flash, it is thrown out and gone, without even looking at the many reasons it was brought. A Rigged Election, fight on!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 12, 2020
1) There is still this dormant PA Republican Party vs Boockvar US Supreme Court case, but it may remain dormant, since the Court already indicated yesterday that it (understandably?) simply doesn’t want the serious heat on this one
A pending Supreme Court judgement in the case of Boockvar decides Pennsylvania— Maajid أبو عمّار (@MaajidNawaz) November 11, 2020
That was not a fraud case. The number of votes is secondary
It is about auditing a temporary mail ballot ringfence, imposed till a constitutional case against alleged judicial activism in PA is heard https://t.co/ek8gkDibKZ
2) Mon Dec 14th Electoral College need to cast their votes alongside their states’ choice (the crux of the dispute)
Matters escalate if:
i) the Electoral College is tied
ii) “faithless” electors don’t vote for their state candidate
Note: in the key swing states, this is legal
It is important for election heads following this story to note that in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Georgia the electoral college is *not legally obliged* to vote as their state did. If disputes about election integrity continue, what these electors think, will matter— Maajid أبو عمّار (@MaajidNawaz) November 13, 2020
iii) the House rejects some Electoral College votes, resulting in neither candidate receiving a majority.
3) If the above long shot occurs (aren’t we already in unprecedented times?) what happens next?
Under the 12th Amendment, when the House meets Jan 6th they can refuse to approve the Electoral College votes. They instead vote on a 1 vote per 1 state basis
Trump wins that vote.
Today’s Situation Update for January 2nd covers the “big reveal” that President Trump has announced for January 6th. On this day, Trump’s team will present information to Congress before
1.they vote on the contested slates of electors from the swing states where massive election fraud occurred.
What will this “big reveal” consist of? We know it’s something that has never been presented previously in a court case, nor to the public. The possibilities are endless:
2. Jeffrey Epstein bombshells? Declassified intelligence on China’s financial payments to the Biden crime family? Smoking gun proof that Dominion machines rigged the election? There are even rumors that two intelligence agencies for other nations have proof of election fraud and
3.are handing it over to Trump. Whatever gets presented, Trump believes it will change the outcome of the vote on Jan 6th. That means it would have to be truly historic, because Democrats aren’t going to vote for Trump in a contested election unless they are absolutely forced to.
4.We’ve even speculated that some members of Congress might resign on the spot after seeing this evidence. Others might face arrest for their complicity in the crimes that have been committed against America.
🇺🇸 Here’s what’s covered in today’s Situation Update highlights:
@POTUS @GenFlynn @SidneyPowell1 @LLinWood @RudyGiuliani
“that lead to a tactical takedown of domestic enemies and active traitors.
Was this a Green Light to start releasing video proof? Everyday there will be a new video released....”
“About 30 minutes into the speech, he invokes legal language that clearly references Trump’s Sep. 12, 2018 executive order which describes remedies for foreign interference in U.S. elections. Here’s what Trump says...
“The only conceivable reason why you would block commonsense measures to verify legal eligibility for voting, is you are trying to encourage, enable, solicit or carry out fraud. It is important for Americans to understand that these destructive changes to our election laws..
“were NOT a necessary response to the pandemic. The pandemic simply gave the Democrats an excuse to do what they were trying to do with many many years.
Note carefully the phrase, “…trying to encourage, enable, solicit or carry out fraud.”
CPS refused to help her.
Kellyanne Conway has a well-documented history of verbally abusing, gaslighting, and threatening her daughter. It gets worse when highly public things go viral (such as exposing the truth about Trump and Conway catching COVID-19 last October). Kellyanne coerces false statements.
Insider did a thorough chronological background of the history of exposing her parents abuse and control of her here: https://t.co/ncjaEyLOSC
We all know that “statement” last year was coerced. She talks constantly about being abused by them.
Personally? I suspect Kellyanne is a narcissist. From my own experience being sexually and emotionally abused by a narcissist, they are obsessed with controlling the narrative (coerced typed statement), discrediting their victim (posting her nudes) & gaslighting
If you haven’t experienced gaslighting or aren’t familiar with it, it’s when someone causing you harm (physical, emotional, sexual, financial, etc) twists the facts and asserts that reality is just you being delusional and you don’t actually understand what happened.
2. more going on here, that I'll touch on in the article which will also include the survey results ( there is STILL TIME to get involved w the survey. It is on extremism in the GOP- focused on MTW, GA-14 but also GOP extremism broadly. Ultimately, I waited to field it until
3. after the impeachment trial bc the survey wasn't really meant to test that (trust me, the big org will cover it!) and bc I was afraid it would impact what we are trying to measure. So now its time to get this puppy in the field. UNLESS, y'all care to asses some of this stuff
4. Impeachment may or may not impact attitudes on MTG and tribalism. Lord knows it had so many elements of extremism that times in. In order to add anything I'd gave to raise more money. 10K is not enough- survey research, the kids you see in wapo and nyt and such are like 30K
5. Some quotes I get are even for 50k!!! For 10K, with me doing analysis, we'd get to ask 5 or 6 questions and the most critical demos. (If you are reading this and willing to add your won pro-bono work to mine PLEASE DM me. This isn't some silly horse race poll. The goal is to

Controversial question. Does it matter if you are a user of your own product?— Jon Yongfook (@yongfook) September 3, 2019
As an indie maker you have a huge advantage if you can genuinely dogfood your product. Don’t do what I did and try to make a product for teams if you’re just one person. That’s really, really dumb 🙃
Before searching for product-market fit, ask yourself if you have founder-product fit. It is a humbling question but one worth investing the time to answer truthfully.
In hindsight, I have low founder-product fit with Talkshow. It’s for teams but I’m solo. It’s a big broad idea but as an indie I should be focused on a niche.
Just braindumping 🤪 Again thanks to @tylertringas for the micro-saas content on his blog, it helped me navigate / articulate some thoughts I was having.
Published a new essay: The red flags and magic numbers that investors look for in your startup’s metrics – 80 slide deck included!
This was a deck that I created on my (longish) interview process with @a16z. It was a long path, starting with meeting folks at the firm 10 years ago. But the purpose of the deck was to explain how I would use my superpower in an investing context
Here's what I explain in the deck. As investors (whether angel or VC) we're often confronted with an up-and-to-the-right graph. Is it going to go up? Or down?
One solution to forecast these growth curves is the Growth Accounting Framework, where you add up New+Reactivated and subtract churned users. In each time period that gives you the difference in monthly actives.
The problem with this is that it's a lagging metric, not a leading one. We need to go one level deeper and look at the underlying loops that drive these numbers, to understand the quality.
I think I've figured it out.
THREAD: The four elements of writing style:
Pardon me while I open a wormhole into your brain and thrust style advice into it.
See, that’s an example of style.
I could have just said: "And now let’s learn about style."
Four elements of style I'll cover:
• Your voice
• Your presentation
• Engaging the senses
• Engaging the imagination
Part 1: Your voice
Ask your friends what it's like to talk with you.
Perhaps they’ll mention your:
• Tone of voice
• Sense of humor
Convey those traits in your writing, and readers will recognize your voice.
In other words, voice is not your choice of words. Voice is your unfiltered self.
