There is no scenario where Trump lets Biden steal the election.

There is no scenario where an elected official facilitates election fraud and gets re-elected.

There is no scenario where we accept this kind of tyranny as normal.

They stole the election again in Georgia because they don’t think they can truly get caught or lose. Broken machines, extended deadlines, blocked access to observers, sudden vote flip. They don’t care.

The way this ends is going o truly shock the world. It isn’t going to be trivial. It isn’t going to depend on Mike Pence.

I previously did a wellness check on @SaRaAshcraft that resulted in her becoming very angry at me. She isn’t posting on Twitter. I am hoping that she is under Federal protection right now.

It wasn’t the wellness check that she was angry about - she thanked me for it - it was the fact that I characterized her as needing medical help.

A true friend cares about others but also knows when to back off.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not reflect on Sarah, who is an amazing human being I was privileged to meet over Twitter.

The police officer who did the wellness check on Sarah told me his impression that she is highly intelligent, reported being a trauma victim, and only needed help to be OK.

I understand why the help he offered, eg to go to hospital, might not have been what she wanted.

Based on how President Trump has handled things over the past four years, I think he leveraged the China virus to quietly take out the Deep State - adapted the plans. /1

I think he used Covid to remove Deep Staters under the guise of illness and will continue to do so.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of them get a lethal injection and they call it a vaccine gone wrong. /2

You may wonder at the ethics of all this but consider the drastic nature of the infiltration of our country. /3

It bothers me that personal freedom is restricted but then I think to myself, this is a good way to get to people, when they don't have the freedom to move. /4

It is useful for President Trump that his political enemies, (that is the people who wanted to use the illness against him), are now backed into a corner, because everyone's convinced that things are really bad and getting worse. /5

I've been wanting to write this thread for a while. It has been inspired by hearing a common thought: why can't people just "listen"? If people just followed the rules, we wouldn't be in this mess. I think this is oversimplification of the problem with COVID: 1/

It is true, there are people who haven't been following guidelines (by definition that happened a LOT at Christmas/NYE in my region), but even before, we know transmission in private gatherings happens. 2/

These private gatherings are pictured to be big raucous parties, but in reality, even before lockdown, this is just people having dinner, watching TV, doing things we did before on a daily basis. These little ripples when added across the country make a big wave.. 3/

...and little can be done about this apart from positive messaging. You can't very well have police patrolling neighbourhoods across the country. 4/

Next thing is we keep hearing over and over and over, stay home. There are diminishing returns with this advice, but also, most people who can stay home ARE. So what's the issue? There are a HUGE # of people who can't stay home because they work in essential jobs 5/

In the 90s I was a host on a talk radio station in LA, the same that aired Rush. I was president of LA NOW, & the liberal wkend host when he visited the station. He was so vilified by my then-crowd, I expected a monster. Instead, I met a remarkable, kind and encouraging man... 1/

He was gregarious & generous when we met. He shook my hand & I was shocked that he was nice & genuinely curious about my radio work and activism. I realized I was going to have a fascinating conversation 2/

The day I learned Rush Limbaugh would join their ranks, I thought it was a joke.

We received phone calls from constituents appalled that Missouri would honor a man who had become infamous that year for calling a college student a “slut.”

And who just that week had continued spreading the racist birtherism lie about our then-President, Barack Obama.

It’s because he created a universe where it was permissible to lynch with language America’s first black President.
