For everyone saying the current democrat party will improve systemic racism and racial unity I need to point this out.

Historically democrats have always been racist and even misogynist and this isn’t even ancient history it’s modern history too. Let me give you the list that I can pull from memory.
1. Democrats voted unanimously against ending slavery.

2. Democrats created the KKK.

3. Democrats were against the civil rights act of 1964.

4. Democrats voted against women’s suffrage.

5. Democrats instituted and enforced Jim Crow laws.
6. Democrats historically discouraged integration policies and encouraged segregationists.

7. 46 authored and sponsored the 1994 crime bill which was signed by then democratic president Clinton. This bill has been attributed to systemic racism in America.
8a. Margaret Sanger, the founder of PP and also democrat, instituted PP to cull the African American community. While it may have a mildly nobler purpose today, under the guise of women’s health it was intended as a racially eugenic operation.
8b. Citing a quote from USA Today in support of this is this statement:

In promoting birth control, she advanced a controversial "Negro Project," wrote in her autobiography about speaking to a Ku Klux Klan group and advocated for a eugenics approach to breeding for (cont).
8c. “the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks — those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.”
9. Unconfirmed as of yet because I haven’t found the executive order but it has been alleged that 46 has revoked UNCF funding that 45 instituted. If this is, indeed, the case it does not show racial unity or an effort to support the African American community.
10a. 46 is on the record stating, in essence, “if you don’t vote for me you ain’t black.” This disparate comment is blatantly racist as it denies an entire community their heritage, culture, customs, history, race, and ethnicity on the basis of partisan support.
10b. While Biden is also on the record having apologized for these remarks (and the people have been unexpectedly understanding of this), it doesn’t exonerate his blatantly disparaging racism against an entire community. It is a statement that never should have been made.
While racism may, indeed, endure in America by its more ignorant citizens who still believe in racial superiority we mustn’t look to partisan political groups for the solution we crave and the unity we need. We must find this solution within ourselves regardless of their intent.
Equally, we mustn’t ignore the modern and ancient historical representations of racism by the democrat party, its representatives, presidents, and constituents if statements such as how the democrats will positively affect change to systemic racism are to be asserted.
Unity starts with US not with them. We have the authority and power to love each other and come together and we don’t need them to lead the way. We are AMERICANS.
We are powerful in our own right and leaders in and of ourselves. Let unity reign with our own actions and let them take note from our example what our true desires are. Let us stand together, not apart, and show them where we stand and what we can achieve.
