THREAD of MAPS on LS elections :

A thread of my hand-annotated maps based on the last 3 Lok Sabha elections (2009, 2014, 2019). Do take a look! :)

There are a total of 543 constituencies across 28 states and 9 union territories. /1

Map of 2009 LS elections.

INC finished as the single largest party, leading to the UPA-2 government.

(Some colours have been reused for different parties due to lack of available colours. For example, light green is used for DMK in Tamil Nadu, and BJD in Odisha) /2
Map of 2014 LS elections.

BJP captured most of the northern and western states. BJD and TMC swept Odisha and West Bengal respectively. /3
Map of 2019 LS elections.

BJP held onto most of its seats and made further inroads into the eastern and southern states. /4

Half of BJP's super-strongholds are in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. INC's are scattered across many states, with a significant number in Kerala.

TMC has 15 super-strongholds in West Bengal and BJD has 10 in Odisha. Remaining 20 seats are scattered across 11 parties. /6

More from Politics

Funny, before the election I recall lefties muttering the caravan must have been a Trump setup because it made the open borders crowd look so bad. Why would the pro-migrant crowd engineer a crisis that played into Trump's hands? THIS is why. THESE are the "optics" they wanted.

This media manipulation effort was inspired by the success of the "kids in cages" freakout, a 100% Stalinist propaganda drive that required people to forget about Obama putting migrant children in cells. It worked, so now they want pics of Trump "gassing children on the border."

There's a heavy air of Pallywood around the whole thing as well. If the Palestinians can stage huge theatrical performances of victimhood with the willing cooperation of Western media, why shouldn't the migrant caravan organizers expect the same?

It's business as usual for Anarchy, Inc. - the worldwide shredding of national sovereignty to increase the power of transnational organizations and left-wing ideology. Many in the media are true believers. Others just cannot resist the narrative of "change" and "social justice."

The product sold by Anarchy, Inc. is victimhood. It always boils down to the same formula: once the existing order can be painted as oppressors and children as their victims, chaos wins and order loses. Look at the lefties shrieking in unison about "Trump gassing children" today.
I told you they’d bring this up

I was wondering why that tweet had so many stupid replies. And now I see

Seriously, this was “the night before.” If you’re at the march where they’re changing “Jews will not replace us” and “Blood and soil,” you’re not a “very fine person.” Full stop.

There are 3 important moments in that transcript.

1.) When someone asked Trump about a statement *he had already made* about there being blame on “both sides,” he said the “fine people” line.

2. Trump does clarify! “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists — because they should be condemned totally “

Okay!

Then adds that there were “many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists.”
