Relentless efforts by detectives to trace and rescue 38-year-old Caroline Wanjiku Maina, who was reported to have been Kidnapped by unknown persons one week ago, flicked a despondent note yesterday when her body was traced to Kajiado hospital mortuary.

In the February 13 report at Muthangari Police Station, Wanjiku's Toyota Axio car had been found abandoned in Nairobi's Kawangware area near Gatina Primary School, a day after she went missing.

The case was then taken over by DCI Nairobi Area Crime Research and Intelligence>>>
>>>Bureau (CRIB) working alongside Dagoretti-based detectives, who immediately swung into action arresting four suspects; Edwin Otieno Odiwuor, Samwel Okoth Adinda, Stevenson Oduor Ouma and Mercy Gitiri Mongo.

Heightened investigations uncovered that prior to the victim's >>>
>>>disappearance, she had withdrawn 350,000 shillings from her account at one of the Cooperative Banks in Nairobi, before proceeding to meet the first suspect (Edwin) at Ngara for a business deal.

Innocently driving into her death trap, Wanjiku had made a call to one of her >>>
>>>friends, detailing her meeting with Edwin, who was to guide her into boosting her Stima Sacco shares with the withdrawn amount.

Once at Ngara, Wanjiku had been forced into a waiting black KCN 300D Toyota Crown in which Edwin was waiting, before being handcuffed & sandwiched>>
>>>by the other named suspects.
Acting on forensic intelligence, the investigating team escorted two of the suspects, (Edwin and Samwel) to Kajiado's Paranai area, the crime scene where the suspects dumbed Wanjiku's body after torturing her to death.
A pair of handcuffs used to restrain the deceased, her company stamp stolen from her car and a surgical face mask believed to have been worn by her were recovered.

Accompanied by Wanjiku's younger sister, the team then proceeded to Kajiado hospital mortuary, where the sister >>>
>>>identified Wanjiku's body, reported to have been collected at the earlier said scene on February 15.

The body had physical injuries on both wrists and its entirety, with the eyes plucked out of their sockets.

Another Mercedes-Benz Reg. No. KCW 179G, believed to have been>>>
>>>used while dumping Wanjiku's body has since been recovered at the first suspect's home.

With further investigations ongoing, the four suspects are pending arraignment for Murder.

In light of this serious cyber attack and this being the second in a row that I've heard in the past few weeks, I'd like to take this moment to talk about the cyber attack known as #phishing so that others do not fall prey to it and stay safe online.

Thread starts:

Phishing is usually a means of contacting you by impersonation to gather data, oversimplifying it. This can happen in several ways:
1. URL similarities: Usually when people visit a webpage, most people never check the URL (Uniform Resource Locator). For example, a fake URL of

https://t.co/x0brAMyKgF would be https://t.co/HrdE9hklv1. Seem the same, right? No. I've replaced one single character of "L" in @Google with "I". Therefore, your entire data would be redirected to the server that is hosting GOOGIE, instead of GOOGLE. This is commonly

hackers perform cyber attacks. However this is only one of many.
Many people might forward you genuine links with small "add-ons" which enter your system like a Trojan Horse. A beautiful meme of keyboard cat on the outside but a vicious data-mining link on the inside.

There's also other means of doing this. And you might think "But dude, who's stupid enough to fall for it?"
LOTS of UNINFORMED people are.
2020 was a record breaking year for phishing websites and attacks as per @techradar. It's not just through
JUST IN — "Camp Auschwitz" insurrectionist of the Capitol siege was just arrested this morning in Newport News, VIrginia.

2) this guy was just arrested.

3) We cannot have a repeat of the fascism from WW2. This is @Schwarzenegger’s speech was so powerful.

4) My wife @andreafeigl1’s 🇦🇹 great grandfather secretly fought Hilter’s Nazi regime & smuggled many Jews to safety as an aircraft engineer. He was thrown into a concentration camp, and escaped.

She knows a few things about Nazi history—Jan 6th was downright fascist. Read 👇

5) So this cover is from a semi-tabloid magazine in Germany, according to @andreafeigl1. But even so, how did such a magazine still get it so damn right?! Maybe Germany 🇩🇪 has seen this kinda fascism before...

A brief analysis and comparison of the CSS for Twitter's PWA vs Twitter's legacy desktop website. The difference is dramatic and I'll touch on some reasons why.

Legacy site *downloads* ~630 KB CSS per theme and writing direction.

6,769 rules
9,252 selectors
16.7k declarations
3,370 unique declarations
44 media queries
36 unique colors
50 unique background colors
46 unique font sizes
39 unique z-indices

PWA *incrementally generates* ~30 KB CSS that handles all themes and writing directions.

735 rules
740 selectors
757 declarations
730 unique declarations
0 media queries
11 unique colors
32 unique background colors
15 unique font sizes
7 unique z-indices

The legacy site's CSS is what happens when hundreds of people directly write CSS over many years. Specificity wars, redundancy, a house of cards that can't be fixed. The result is extremely inefficient and error-prone styling that punishes users and developers.

The PWA's CSS is generated on-demand by a JS framework that manages styles and outputs "atomic CSS". The framework can enforce strict constraints and perform optimisations, which is why the CSS is so much smaller and safer. Style conflicts and unbounded CSS growth are avoided.
