***Thread - The current state of Ummah***
We muslims and the muslims scholars always say - the Quran is the final, complete, universal and incorruptible word of god (which is true), but why is it that our "islamic governments" fail to enforce laws based on the Qur'an...

 A few days back, fornication was legalised in the UAE (which is strictly prohibited in the Qur'an)
And with saudi Arabia's suspicious activity with Israeli officials, we as an ummah are bound to ask ourselves few questions
What led to this?
Who is responsible?
What are we doing?
Does the majority of our ummah even want to do something about it?
What can be done?
Who can do it?
Q1 - what led to this?
This question has answers we all know, but we turn a blind eye towards it.
After the fall of the Ottoman Islamic khilafath we can safely say that it's secularism (Ataturk) which responsible for it...
...And that's ironic, as muslims who live in secular states vouch for the secularism mentioned in those states' constitution for the protection of their rights...
Q2 - who is responsible?
The larger part of this question's answer is "we our selves are responsible", but lets see who really are responsible for this.
After the WW2, this world saw unprecedented changes, which involved forming of athiestic states in the Muslim world...
(yes , a secular state is an athiestic state)
Here is a picture to potray what I am referring to
And the reason this happened is either colonialism or the involvement of colonialist in muslim states
The gross inferiority complex they inculcated in the people is embarrassing.
Q3 - What are we doing about this?
The simple answer could be "nothing"
But let's dive deep
The country which holds the highest amount of muslims is now probably India (yes, its quite possible based on the growth rate and all), and the state of muslims there can tell enough...
It's sad to see that muslims there are turning towards liberal organisations for their protection and the protection of their rights
And with the advent of UCC (a law which can mean that muslims cannot practice the laws mentioned in the Qur'an (law of marriage, divorce, property)
...We could say that our ummah isn't paying attention ot our collective health.
The Muslims in Rohingya, Uighur, Kashmir, Palastine, Syria, Iraq (and more) are helpless even when a quarter of the population of this world is muslims
Why?...
And Let me point out the eery connection between the rise of secularism and the fall of this ummah.
Q4 - Does the majority of our ummah even want to do something about it?
The answer is simple
The majority of the ummah is the victim in this case ( and the minority with the power are the lapdogs of seculars states )
Q5 - What can be done?
We could just sit in our homes and tweet about this stuff, we have no leader, no reliable government nothing!
What we can do is introduce a system with which our generation and the following generation has respect for the scholars of islam...
... and would want them to be their role models
The scholars of islam should be in the places of uncorrupted power and should lead the ummah
Is this possible?
Yes it is, if we start with the Muslim states
The lack of intelligent people for muslim scholarship gives rise to...
...liberal or 'modern' islamic scholars, which are causing real fitnah
Q6 - who can do it?
It could be done right at our homes, send your children to madrasas (most muslims do not send children to madrasas as they find the quality of education there very low)
Build madrasas with education centred around islam, (if this is done in the real sense...
... then the quality of education would improve automatically, as islam is the most perfect religion, way of life, political system and socio economic system)
So that's my view!

Celebrating Shab E Barat - A Thread

Some Muslims celebrate the middle of Sha‘baan, fasting on that day and spending that night in prayer. There is a hadeeth concerning that which is not saheeh, hence the scholars regarded celebrating this day as an innovation

It is not prescribed in Islam to celebrate the night of the fifteenth of Sha‘baan, whether that is by spending the night in prayer, dhikr and reading Qur’aan, or by distributing sweets or giving food to people and so on.

It is not known in the saheeh Sunnah that this night is to be singled out for acts of worship.
Al-‘Iraaqi said: The hadeeth about the prayer on Laylat al-Nisf (mid-Sha‘baan) is false. Ibn al-Jawzi narrated it in al-Mawdoo‘aat (which is a compilation of fabricated hadeeths)

The hadeeth, “When the night of ‘nisf Sha‘baan’ (mid-Sha‘baan) comes, spend the night in prayer and fast on that day” was narrated by Ibn Maajah from ‘Ali. Muhashiyyah said: (It was also narrated) in al-Zawaa’id.

Its isnaad is da‘eef (weak) because of the weakness of Ibn Abi Basrah, of whom Ahmad and Ibn Ma‘een said: He fabricates hadeeth. End quote.

Opinions of famous classical Muslim scholars.

Imam Al-Desouki:
If the wife claims she has been beaten in transgression and the husband claims otherwise, then the wife is to be believed and the husband is to be reprehended (rebuked, …) by the judge


Imam Al-Desouki:
And if proof for transgression is shown and the wife wants to remain with him, then the judge is to beat the husband.


Imam Al-Desouki:
If the husband believes that his wife will not stop rebelling except by beating, then he’s not allowed to beat her.

Ibn Hajar Al Haithami:
If a husband knows that beating isn't helpful, then it becomes haram.

Al-Shafi‘i:
Beating is allowed, but avoiding it is better.

Maliki opinion:
Beating is allowed ONLY if it delivers the benefit intended from it. If it doesn't, then it's haram.


Ibn Hazm:
A wife has the right to divorce herself and right to retribution (or retaliation) if her husband beats her violently.

He is not allowed to beat his wife violently even if he knows she won’t stop rebelling by no other means and...

I've received my share of calls from young Muslim couples and know some common themes. If you're being offered any of these, say no and end it.

1) Secret Nikahs: Not only is this against the command of the Prophet (peace be on him), they never work. I've seen horror stories!


2) Polygamy: In principle I have nothing against it. But our current political and social climate makes it almost impossible to practice it justly. In most Canadian cases, I wouldn't recommend it. Once again, horror stories!

3) Marrying non-Muslims: Islam allows men to marry Christian and Jewish women. However, I really would advise against this now.

These commands are for when the man is the leader of the house and can ensure that the children will remain Muslim. Do not risk your children's Iman!

Additionally, marriage about so much more than love. After being married, I see that it needs many social scaffolding and structure to prosper.

I really see many couples in such marriages ending up resenting their partner.

I would not recommend this 95% of the time!

4) Delaying the talking process: Let me know if this sounds familiar: "He's perfect. But he isn't ready for marriage yet! 2 years, In Sha Allah!"

Not only is your boyfriend/girlfriend haraam (cause that's what they are), why invest your heart when the person isn't ready?

(2:43) "Establish Prayer and dispense Zakah (the Purifying Alms) and bow in worship with those who bow."

We all know, Allah SWT had commanded us to establish prayer.
This is an Obligation on us.

If young people are taught something there are chances that they'll hold it firm+

It is with great grief that I'm saying sometimes in the Fajr, the imam and muazzin wait for at least one musalli to start the prayer.

This is disgrace. May Allah forgive us.

So in order to avoid such time in coming future, we must teach our kids with great care and concern.+

The mosque management of three mosques around my house have collectively decided that, if any of the kids from 6-10 classes attend all the salahs for 40 consecutive days, they will be awarded with a GRAND NEW BICYCLE.

For some reason if any kid, couldn't attend all the 40 days +

He will be awarded with some or other gift or monetary rewards, each kid will be given participatory gifts too at the least.

They've announced this at Friday prayer in probably all the mosque of our division, +

Abu Hamid al-Ghazali is one of the great jurists, theologians and mystics of the 12th Century. He has written many books on philosophy , theology, mysticism etc.

According to Imam Ghazali there are 3 grades of
fasting

1. Ordinary Fasting: Abstaining from food, drink and
other desires.
This is the type of Fast that everyone observes

2. Special Fasting: Keeping your sense organ ( eyes , ear, tongue, hand, feet ) free from sin.

Jabir relates from Anas (RA). that the prophet, on him be peace, said: Five things break a mans Fast: lying, backbiting, gossiping, perjury and a lustful gaze.

This is practiced by righteous people .

3. Extra Special Fasting :

🍁This is Fasting of the heart from unworthy concerns and worldly thoughts, in total disregard of everything but Allah SWT.

🍁To the utmost dedication to Allah, disregarding everything else.
This fasting is practiced by prophets and Auliya Allah

🌴Fasting of the eyes :

• See not what displeases Allah SWT
• Restrained from viewing anything that is blameworthy
or reprehensible– That distracts the heart and diverts it
from the remembrance of Allah SWT.

2. The tribunals are arresting these people in plain clothes. We saw the Obama’s arrest, although we didn’t know it was an arrest at the time. The arrest was done nonchalantly so as to not get noticed by the public.
All arrests of these famous people were done this way.

3. If the person is convicted of child sex trafficking, crimes against humanity or treason, they will be executed.
If the person arrested has evidence on someone else to help their prosecution, or is willing to help Trump, & they want to cooperate, they may be allowed to do so.

4. A sentence of execution down to life in prison may be accepted if their evidence is worth anything.
When a plea deal is done, the defendant must present evidence they have to make their sentence lighter. This information is given to the prosecution, defense, and to the judge.

5. If evidence is accepted, they are presented the plea deal. They will have to make a guilty plea to the crime with a video confession & written statement. That is how all plea deals work.

All famous people arrested were either treasonous or involved in satanic worship rituals.

Srikanteshwara Temple or
Nanjundeshwara Temple is a famous Shiva Temple located in Karnataka at the bank of river  Kapila. Temple is also called Varanasi of South. Nanjunda means one who has consumed poison.


Story is  related to the Samudra Mathanam when Paramashiva had to consume halahala.

Parashurama worshipped Mahadeva here to relieve himself from the curse of Mathru Hatya. While clearing the place to do poojas Parashurama's  axe hit the Shivalingam and it began bleeding, that


mark is still visible even today. Thus
it is also believed that Parashurama did Shiva Prathishta here

Sthala Puranam says that, once there was a demon named Keshi who disturbed the people in the area, after  getting blessing from Brahma Deva  and Mahavishnu. Mahadeva appeared


here and killed demon Keshi and blessed this place as Papa Vinashini. Whoever praying to Srikanteshwara or Nanjundeshwara, after bathing in the  Kabini River will be relieved from all sins.

महाभारत की कहानी कौन नहीं जानता।लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि महाभारत के ज्यादातर पात्र किसी न किसी श्राप में फंसे थे।अगर ये श्राप न होते तो कदाचित महाभारत की कहानी कुछ और होती।हिन्दु पौराणिक ग्रंथों में विभिन्न श्रापों का वर्णन मिलता है व हर श्राप के पीछे कोई कहानी अवश्य होती है।


आइए आज जानते हैं महाभारत कथा में वर्णित कुछ श्रापों के बारे में।

1) राजा पाण्डु को ऋषि किन्दम का श्राप

एकबार महाराज पाण्डु शिकार खेलने वन गए।झाडियों के पीछे कुछ हिल रहा था। मृग है सोचकर राजा ने बाण चलाया जो जाकर ऋषि किन्दम और उनकी पत्नी को लगा।वे दोनो रति-क्रीड़ा में लिप्त थे।

जब राजा ने उन्हें देखा तो बहुत दुखी हुए कि ये मुझसे क्या पाप हो गया।बहुत क्षमा याचना के बाद भी किन्दम ऋषि ने पाण्डु को श्राप दे दिया कि जब भी वो किसी स्त्री को काम भावना से स्पर्श करेंगे उसी क्षण उनकी मृत्यु हो जाएगी।पश्चाताप करने, वे सिंहासन पे अन्धे राजा धृतराष्ट्र को बैठाकर...


..स्वयं अपनी रानियों कुंती व माद्री के साथ वन चले गए।पांडवों का जन्म भी कुंती को ऋषि दुर्वासा द्वारा दिए गए मंत्र से हुआ था जिसमे किसी भी देव का स्मरण कर उस देव से कुंती,पुत्र प्राप्त कर सकती थी।एक बार माद्री पे मोहित हो जब पांडु ने उसे स्पर्श किया,उसी क्षण पांडु की मृत्यु होगयी।


2) उर्वशी का अर्जुन को श्राप

महाभारत युद्ध से पहले जब अर्जुन दिव्यास्त्र प्राप्त करने स्वर्ग गए तो वहां उर्वशी नाम की अप्सरा उन पर मोहित हो गयी। अर्जुन ने जब उन्हें अपनी माता के समान बताया तो यह सुनकर उर्वशी क्रोधित हो गयी और अर्जुन को श्राप दे डाला कि तुम नपुंसक की भांति...

This day was inevitable. Indian Muslims always lived in La La Land. They bad mouthed real well wishers & slept with the enemy who never considered them as part of them. In Gulf, Indian Muslims were busy with Javed Akhtar & Sonu Nigam. Never interacted with South Asian diaspora

Now when Indian Muslims are thrown to wolves it’s Pakistani & Bangladeshi Muslims with whom they kept distance are the only ones feeling their pain. None of the people who they invited for Eid Milan. Qawali & Mushaira are there for them. Such people invoke wrath upon themselves

Indian Muslims never spoke for Kashmiri Muslims. Distancing from separatist was understandable but we never even bothered to highlight their human rights violation & rapes carried out by forces. We could have sent them humanitarian help we didn’t. Our silence made us complicit.

When Sania Mirza married Shoaib Malik it was something legal. A Muslim married another Muslim. Entire Hindutva media went after her. They launched a witch-hunt for months. No Indian Muslim stood by her. All were silent. Now days come when Muslims are arrested for marrying a Hindu

Indian Muslims particularly the elite downplayed communalism in India by saying it will pass or Hindu majority is good. Fringe are bad. They misguiding others. Muslims were always others. Indians were happy to see Muslims sing & dance & eat their food but never considered as own

Bonus points:

- Don't list 15 things and libraries you worked with, pick the most related ones to the role you're applying.

- work experience
