This is exactly what the UK Government does to unpaid carers -IF you are fortunate to have time to have another job (because you're not caring 24/7) they take your income support or UC pound for pound for every pound you earn. Once that's all gone they take your carers allowance.

 So in other words - IF you are fortunate enough to have time to take a job - you end up doing two jobs for half the money. So what you end up with is most full time carers being locked-in to the caring roll earning less than £2.30 an hour.
2020 has been a lesson that the UK population doesn't give a crap about carers, or low income families. Sure, they'll stand on their doorsteps and clap, or abuse their neighbour who didn't clap, but the reality is that it serves the British state to keep low income carers...
...and unpaid carers in forced servitude (and that's exactly what it is). When it broke that people were being forced to work for £3, 4, 5 per hour in sweat shops in northern England at the start of the pandemic, you couldn't turn on a TV channel without some politician...
...talking about "worker exploitation", but the reality is that the UK is ok with worker exploitation. It has engaged in it for decades through both Labour and Tory governments. It actually has legislation that specifically defines Carers Allowance as an allowance...
...rather than a benefit - because it being even a benefit would mean the Government had certain responsibilities to carers.

The average carer gets £114 per week and most work more than 60 hours per week.
There are 2 million full time and 6 million part time carers. Pre-Covid they saved the UK Government £136Billion per year. During this pandemic where public services have laid their responsibilities at the feet of unpaid carers....
...who by the way have absolutely no employment rights - that £136 billion was surpassed in 7 months of this year. Meaning that this year carers in the UK are on target to save the public purse over £210 Bn.
Putting that in perspective for you, that's the equivelant of the budgets for England, Scotland, Northern and Northern Ireland COMBINED.
I could put out 1000 tweets about carers and i'd be lucky to get 20 retweets about it. Put out a funny cat meme and i'd get 1000. The truth is that this " Britishness" that they try to sell as community spirit, it actually isn't.
The reality is that the UK is a place where the nimby's are in charge and forced servitude and worker exploitation are OK when hidden from site. Carers are dismissed as "having chosen to give up work" when in reality, most don't have a choice at all.
The reason they don't have a choice is because the system is designed to deprive them of that choice, and then to deprive them of a voice in telling the world they had no choice.
With politicians the words "We love carers" are usually followed by "they give up work". The reality is that they have given up nothing. Caring IS THEIR WORK. What they give up through no choice of their own, is their workers rights compared to their private and public sector...
....counterparts.

So I am not the least bit surprised the tories are doing this to those who are "allowed" to be classified as workers - not one bit!

A lot is happening in Chicago. Mayor Lori Lightfoot Emanuel gave over 65% of CARES Act money to CPD. Today, the Office of Inspector General released their report on the uprisings where it is revealed how Lori is directly responsible for the brutality.

Page 55 documents how during the May 30th protests, CPD refused a person their seizure medication, watched them collapse and threatened another detainee with violence if they moved, presumably to assist the person having a seizure. Footage then records a cop threatening rape.


When Lori demanded the bridges be raised, it forced CDOT to call off duty employees. This was a move they were surprised to receive since it is rarely done. The raising of bridges was considered during the NATO protests in 2010 and was ultimately rejected as ‘ineffective’.


The raising of the bridges created the conditions where police battered people including lifting one person by his neck and throwing him to the ground before dragging him through horse manure.


In the same footage as the person having a seizure, CPD responds to another officer saying they should “shoot the occupants of the vehicle in the head”.

STORY OF PURANAS AND SUB PURANA (उप पुराण).

We have already gone through the series on importance & characteristics of all the eighteen Purans. We also know that originally there were hundred crore shlokas but were divided by Vyas in each Kalp and was compiled as eighteen Purans


for the common people to understand it properly and now their total is about four lakhs.

In Brahm Puran, Brahma preached this to Marichi. So this Puran of ten thousand shlokas is called Brahm Puran.

In Padma Puran, the base of the story is the appearance of Brahma on a lotus(Padm) from Vishnu' s navel.This has fifty five thousand shlokas.

Vishnu Puran is primarily based in Varah kalp. This book is on Vishnu and this book has twenty three thousand shlokas.

Vaayu Puran is written in Shwet Kalp and has twenty four thousand shlokas. Here Vayudev preaches about Dharma.

In Bhagwat Puran, which is written with the base of Gayatri mantra describes Dharma extensively. It has 18000 shlokas. It also mentions the story of Vritrasur.

In Narad Puran, which has twenty five thousand shlokas, is a sermon on Dharma by Narad based in Brihad Kalp.

Markandeya Puran has nine thousand shlokas and here it is through the birds that Dharma is described.

Trump is gonna let the Mueller investigation end all on it's own. It's obvious. All the hysteria of the past 2 weeks about his supposed impending firing of Mueller was a distraction. He was never going to fire Mueller and he's not going to


Mueller's officially end his investigation all on his own and he's gonna say he found no evidence of Trump campaign/Russian collusion during the 2016 election.

Democrats & DNC Media are going to LITERALLY have nothing coherent to say in response to that.

Mueller's team was 100% partisan.

That's why it's brilliant. NOBODY will be able to claim this team of partisan Democrats didn't go the EXTRA 20 MILES looking for ANY evidence they could find of Trump campaign/Russian collusion during the 2016 election

They looked high.

They looked low.

They looked underneath every rock, behind every tree, into every bush.

And they found...NOTHING.

Those saying Mueller will file obstruction charges against Trump: laughable.

What documents did Trump tell the Mueller team it couldn't have? What witnesses were withheld and never interviewed?

Mueller got full 100% cooperation as the record will show.

Glorious Vedic Architecture and Temple

Architecture in India was an extremely rich form of expression and highly developed science, with a deep heritage of spirituality in it. #FreeHinduTemple


The centre of all architectural development was the temple and temple or Mandir was the earthly home of God, and like the launching pad for the devotee’s consciousness to soar toward the Divine and the spiritual world.


The murti or deity of the Divine would be placed in the temple sanctum, around which all temple activity would revolve.

Such buildings were often elaborately decorated with stone, wood, plaster, etc. and carved or cut to depict the stories from the Puranas or other sacred texts


Temples were always the centre of religious, social and educational activities, practically more so in
ancient times than today.

During a span of more than two thousand years, various dynasties were known for constructing glorious temples,


some of which include the Mauryan, Ashoka, Gupta, Satavahana, Chedi, Chandella, Chalukya, Solanki, Pallava, Shola, Hoysala, Vijayanagar, and others.

Many of these temples remain beautiful architectural wonders today.

कुछ लोग कहते हैं की व्यक्ति मरकर सबसे पहले कौवे के रूप में जन्म लेता है और उसे खाना खिलाने से वह भोजन पितरों को मिलता है

शायद हम सबने अपने घर के किसी बड़े बुज़ुर्ग, किसी पंडित या ज्योतिषाचार्य से ये सुना होगा। वे अनगिनत किस्से सुनाएंगे, कहेंगे बड़े बुज़ुर्ग कह गए इसीलिए ऐसा करना

शायद ही हमें कोई इसके पीछे का वैज्ञानिक कारण बता सके।

हमारे ऋषि मुनि और पौराणिक काल में रहने वाले लोग मुर्ख नहीं थे! कभी सोचियेगा कौवों को पितृ पक्ष में खिलाई खीर हमारे पूर्वजों तक कैसे पहुंचेगी?

हमारे ऋषि मुनि विद्वान थे, वे जो बात करते या कहते थे उसके पीछे कोई न कोई वैज्ञानिक कारण छुपा होता था।

एक बहुत रोचक तथ्य है पितृ पक्ष, भादो( भाद्रपद) प्रकृति और काक के बीच।

एक बात जो कह सकते कि हम सब ने स्वतः उग आये पीपल या बरगद का पेड़/ पौधा किसी न किसी दीवार, पुरानी

इमारत, पर्वत या अट्टालिकाओं पर ज़रूर देखा होगा। देखा है न?

ज़रा सोचिये पीपल या बरगद की बीज कैसे पहुंचे होंगे वहाँ तक? इनके बीज इतने हल्के भी नहीं होते के हवा उन्हें उड़ाके ले जा सके।
