Portland is ringing in the New Year.

Fireworks a plenty, probably first time I’ve seen this many in Portland since July 4th.
Near the Justice Center in downtown Portland.
Behind the courthouse fence.
Portland Police have declared an unlawful assembly, orders to move to the south and west. Threatening use of force including impact munitions.
This has now been declared a riot. Portland Police now threatening use of Tear Gas. Portland Police are “banned” from using CS Gas.
Little street fire in between the Justice Center and Federal Courthouse.
The fireworks are nonstop by the way.
The Feds are back in downtown Portland. DHS agents have arrived.
We are having ourselves a fireworks fight with the cops.

The crowd of demonstrators in Portland are actively pushing back the DHS.
Under pressure from the advancing protesters, DHS starts using chemical weapons and fires wildly into the crowd with impact rounds. The federal agents continue to fall back for now.
The Feds push back with greater force.
DHS retreats again. There’s a bit of a back and forth going one. Continued fireworks vs munitions.
The back and forth with the DHS rages on. Lots of smoke from all the fireworks.
The Multnomah County Sheriffs and Portland Police have been called in to back up DHS.
City Police, Sheriffs, and DHS advance west.
Fireworks and the police’s own smoke grenades are being used against them.
Police and sheriffs bull rush the crowd, assaulting people along the way.
Teargas is being used in Portland yet again. After the bull rush police formed a line and slowly pulled back, simultaneously teargas was launched into the streets.
Some teargas gets thrown back at the police. Main Street is heavily gassed. I can taste a little through my gas mask.

With the police pulling back after their latest violet push, people had some free time and anger from being assaulted and gassed.

As the clock struck midnight and 2021 began in Portland, another Starbucks got smashed.
After a night of violence and gas from the Police and Feds, people smash up Portland’s luxury shopping district early on New Year’s Day.
A third Starbucks got targeted. Big chains and luxury shops are the businesses hit.
A few officers arrive at Pioneer Square and jog around while cop cars circle.
A few blocks away from Pioneer Square, Portland Police do what I believe is the first arrest of night.
I am home safe with my cats, my back is sore, my ears hurt, I am going to sleep. Happy New Years everyone.

She outlines Shukri's birth at a refugee camp in Kenya. She moved to the UK completing 5 months in primary school before moving into secondary school.

Shukri was a "joy to have in class". Shukri was remembered a smiley happy girl by her peers.

Zamzam, Shukri's Mum said prior to June 2019, Shukri has never been to a river. She could not swim.

On the 27th June, Shukri had been in school all day. Coroner states there is a discrepency between accounts of who invited Shukri.

It is a fuck-this-shit moment for Egyptian women. And the rage and reckoning are the fuel of revolution. Not a cis-gender heterosexual dick-swinging revolution. We already had one of those almost 10 years ago.
A feminist revolution.

The revolutions that began 10 years ago in the Middle East and North Africa might have been started by a man. They will be completed by women and queer people too often marginalized and ignored and subjected to violence by the State, Street and Home.

I wrote this in 2012. And I turned it into my first book Headscarves and Hymens: Why the Middle East Needs a Sexual Revolution to say that unless the rage shifts from the presidential palace to the Street and Home, the revolution has not started

Over the coming weeks, I will be writing more about the #Egyptian revolution 10 years on

On Sunday 21st June, 14 year old Noah Donohoe left his home to meet his friends at Cave Hill Belfast to study for school. #RememberMyNoah💙


He was on his black Apollo mountain bike, fully dressed, wearing a helmet and carrying a backpack containing his laptop and 2 books with his name on them. He also had his mobile phone with him.

On the 27th of June. Noah's naked body was sadly discovered 950m inside a storm drain, between access points. This storm drain was accessible through an area completely unfamiliar to him, behind houses at Northwood Road. https://t.co/bpz3Rmc0wq


"Noah's body was found by specially trained police officers between two drain access points within a section of the tunnel running under the Translink access road," said Mr McCrisken."

Noah's bike was also found near a house, behind a car, in the same area. It had been there for more than 24 hours before a member of public who lived in the street said she read reports of a missing child and checked the bike and phoned the police.

Back at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning attempting to monitor a call over hearing in the case of @wikileaks publisher Julian Assange. This is the last such hearing scheduled before the extradition decision will be given on 4 January.

The goal posts for access constantly shift at this court, in a completely arbitrary manner. We are currently being told by a court official that no journalists will be allowed in (told they can access the Cloud Video Platform) and only two people can access the public gallery. 2/

At times, even under Covid measures, four journalists have been allowed into the well of this same courtroom, and five people into the public gallery. Two in total today is completely arbitrary. We’re told the access restrictions are the judge’s decision. 3/

We’re hearing that two seats in court are being held for @AusHouseLondon, so we circle back to the same issue as the “VIP” seats held in the September proceedings at the Old Bailey, when these “VIP” diplomats never took their seats, but they were held back from the public. 4/

Again, the only way for professional NGO observers to access these hearings (and do our job) is in person, as the court will not give us remote access. This is not only a barrier to open justice, but the court is creating unnecessary Covid risks as London heads towards Tier 3. 5/

Најгоре од свега што је то Мика Алексић изговорио у присуству високих дипломатских представника , а одговор је био да се све неће на томе завршити и да ће га то скупо коштати .
Нашта им је Мика рекао да је он свој живот проживео и да могу да му раде шта хоће и силно их извређао

1. Calculates the Average Price of past 21 days
2. A stock above 21 ema is in strong momentum , which will give pullbacks to 21 ema again and again.
3. Stock above 21 ema should never be shorted so as to stay with the trend

How you can filter stocks for Intraday trades - 🧵

As a kid, we would do homework before school the next day - you have to do homework here too. A specific sector performs on a particular day and studying things a day before will help you spot that particular sector. (1/11)

To prepare for the next trading day, you got to check the Index charts of all sectors. You got to keep an eye on a specific Index if you see a few factors:

- If any Index closed exactly at the resistance, you can get a trade on either side on the next day. (2/11)

- If it gave a rejection candle at resistance.

- If any Index closed exactly at support, you can get a trade on either side the following day.

- If there was a bullish signal at the support.

- If any Index gave a breakout or breakdown and then gave a good closing. (3/11)

- If any Index has taken support at 50 or 200 EMA.

Once you spot the Index, look at all the stocks in that particular Index. Pick at least 3-4 stocks from that Index and add them to your watchlist for the next day. It's ideal to check both higher and lower timeframes. (4/11)

What you should do next day? (When I am unable to check Indices and stocks a day before, I sometimes directly start with this process.)

- Start with checking the top gainers/losers list. I observe market from 9:15 to 9:45am to check the sectors performing well on that day.(5/11)

Sthala Puranam says that, there lived a Landlord who had many cows in his farm. One among them was a Black Cow, which didn't give milk. Land lord observed that evening time, when all the cows came back after grazing, this cow used to go to a particular spot and gave all  the milk


by itself. He decided to dig the spot where the cow gave its milk

On digging a beautiful Vigraham of Murugan was found, but lower portion was very rough. So he called a great sculptor to soften it. Everyone was shocked to see that on the first chisel the vigraham bleeded.


Land lord realized that Murugan wanted the Vigraham the way it was.

Thus Prathishta was done on Chennimalai hill. It is believed that Sivalaya Chola got relieved from his Brahmahatti Dosha here. Kanda Shasti Kavacham was first offered here.
