Near slum.
It is horrific. But I had no choice since we reached by car 2 am, with my 3 dogs. Area was not safe. Even police avoided to enter it
One day when I got down to get in my car to go for work, I heard a growling.
I bent down to see a dog just in bones, feeding puppies 2
Tried to get her out but her one leg was badly broken & bleeding.
One puppy half eaten by rats, coz rats there were bigger than her puppies.
I used auto but contacted many NGO
Got no help.
I started mixing antibiotics & pain killer in rice to feed her.
Initially I had to push

The food below the car. But on 3rd day, she actually came out from under the car to eat from my hands.
She started trusting me. I put bandage on her leg.
Called her 3D 😁 which my sister

3D started recovering. She started gaining health

I introduced her to children of out building.
Parents found them dirty, but kids are ❤
We gave all of them bath, vaccination.
They were happy.
But every other day her one pup started getting crushed under a tempo or car
People wouldn't bother to slow down
3D would cry to me

Run crazy behind cars.
I requested the society to give them a little space but they won't agree since it wasn't "Aesthetic "
It was heart breaking.
Middle of the night i would run to SPCA with her one or other pup.
They rarely survived.
She would cry in my lap. 6
I could just apologize for being human to her
Anyways.
She was also the guard of our street. No trespasser or suspicious person could come near our car or building.
Once few boys were scratching i love you on my XUV 🙄
She chased them to the next lane.

Yelled at her saying that the drunkard was right to break her leg.
Once few boys asked our old guard about two girls living in the building.
Guard told us he didn't tell but he is scared to i must take care.
I was worried too.
But with 3D i knew she won't let anyone

However I was also scared that they would hurt 3D
So i searched another house.
The children of the building decided to take care of 3D
I was happy
I got busy & couldn't go to see her for 3 months.
I got a call from on Of the kids own day
Telling me 3D is no more

Apparently after we left 3D stopped eating.
They thought she finds her food.
But she wasn't
She left the world waiting for me.
I still live in that guilt. & many more stories that I have with these amazing streeties.
Now i want to ask u all
What makes human God?

So much so that we decide who would live & who would not!
How many humans, pee, spit, poo do eve teasing, r@pe murder
But we never say that all humans must be caged or k!lled
Then why Dogs become so ugly, filthy & dangerous?
We as Hindus believe in incarnation

So why don't we believe that those dogs are also souls like us !
They r going through living hell.
All I want from us is little compassion & food /water
Nothing more
But is it too. Much to ask?
If some one says that street dogs must be k!lled or are tone removed, In my eyes

They r not human enough.
Besides remember that we r encroaching their territory!
Every Prani is creation of God & has a role to play.
Kerala k!lled thousands of dogs, disturbed the ecosystem, what is happening after that every one knows.
Number of rats & diseases increase

Dog is Guru of Dattatreya ji
And Dog is vehicle of Mahakaleshwar
They also feel pain, have emotions, get hurt, cry and have family.
Lets be human first before we become anything else 🙏
