in honour of bohemian rhapsody coming out in less than a month, I wanted to do a thread of the most iconic things freddie mercury did so y'all can get to know him

 although most people know about him and queen's music, y'all dont know how iconic he actually was, so before stan twitter falls for rami's freddie for like a week (rami u deserve better), let's appreciate the original hbic
ok so,
farrokh bulsara (later changed to freddie mercury ofc) was born in 1946, in zanzibar, he was born with parsi decent and grew up in both zanzibar and india before later moving to england with his family
he was a singer, songwriter and record producer, and obviously the lead vocalist of queen
he had an estimated four - octave vocal range and is considered one of the greatest vocalists of all time, especially due to his unique tone and his ability to change his style from line to line ((your faves could nEVER))
also wow
he is also regarded as one of the greatest front men of all time, david bowie said "freddie took it further than the rest...he was definitely a man who could hold an audience in the palm of his hand" freddie was also praised by many other legends
freddie frequently used a broken microphone as his main prop onstage, after he accidentally snapped it off the stand during an early performance and realised it was more useful that way - a convenient queen,, we stan!
freddie loved cats, he even dedicated a solo album, ' mr bad guy ' to his cats, and left a note in the album booklet saying, "this album is dedicated to my cat jerry - also tom, oscar and tiffany and all the cat lovers across the universe - screw everybody else!"
he also wrote a song about his cat delilah and issa bop!
He adopted his cats from rescue shelters (adopt don’t shop) and gave them gourmet meals, christmas stockings and talked to them over the phone
he called sid vicious (from the sex pistols) “simon ferocious” and pushed him, when sid came in to the studio and made comments about freddie’s flamboyant attitude and sexuality – so he rlly was THAT bitch
he used a piano as a headboard for his bed and taught himself to play backwards, so if he thought of a song idea in bed he could just reach back to play and/or record it (but he didnt consider himself to be a good pianist and hated playing live ugh)
he had a degree in art and graphic design – and designed queen’s emblem based on the zodiac signs of the members (ugh what a virgo move)
he used to ride on the shoulders of darth vader and superman during his concerts
although many people overanalyse the meaning of the hit bohemian rhapsody, when asked about it freddie said “it bears no real meaning, it’s all rhyming nonsense” lmaoo indie twitter is quaking
he and michael jackson actually collaborated and had recording time together but freddie stopped bc he got uncomfortable when michael would keep bringing his llama into the studio (I actually can’t with this one I -)
here's a lil snippet of a rare recording of them together (there's a few on youtube) they would've been iconic but a llama ruined it sjshgjs
he wrote the bop crazy little thing called love in the bath, and had a piano brought to him to compose it
he dressed princess diana in male drag and snuck her into gay clubs
the music video for queen’s song ‘I want to break free’ actually got banned from mtv bc all four members were in drag
at one of his concerts, an audience member called out “you fucking p**f” and freddie responded by turning the spotlight on him and said “say that again darling.”
He was a keen stamp collector! 7 year old me can relate! ((wow and now he's on his own stamps catch me crying))

2. A stock above 21 ema is in strong momentum , which will give pullbacks to 21 ema again and again.
3. Stock above 21 ema should never be shorted so as to stay with the trend

Stocks take dynamic support on 21 ema

Rani Bhabani was the Queen of Natore, Bengal or 'Natorer Rani' as she was famously called. She made great contributions in Tarapith & renovated Benaras.

In Varanasi, Durga Kund Mandir was constructed by Rani Bhabani in the 18th century.


Born in Chhatimgram village, Bogra District,Her father's name was Atmaram Choudhury.Bhabani was married off to Raja Ramkanta Moitra,the then zamindar of Rajshahi.After his death, Bhabani became the zamindar, and started being referred to as Rani.She was known as Ardhabangeshwari.

A woman as a zamindar was extremely rare in those days, but Rani Bhabani managed the vast Rajshahi zamindari most efficiently and effectively for over four decades.
Maharani Bhavani was very pious in her personal life. She passed her life in a strict disciplined way.


She conducted the administrative work skillfully. As a Maharani she was an impartial judge. Rani Bhavani had a very hard time during the fag end of her life. The Zamindari (estate) incurred serious loss due to the change of the revenue policy of the company.

In spite of being the owner of a large Zamindari (estate), she had to depend on the stipend of the government in the later part of her life. The amount of this stipend gradually decreased and became Rs. 1000/- only in the end.

On Sunday 21st June, 14 year old Noah Donohoe left his home to meet his friends at Cave Hill Belfast to study for school. #RememberMyNoah💙


He was on his black Apollo mountain bike, fully dressed, wearing a helmet and carrying a backpack containing his laptop and 2 books with his name on them. He also had his mobile phone with him.

On the 27th of June. Noah's naked body was sadly discovered 950m inside a storm drain, between access points. This storm drain was accessible through an area completely unfamiliar to him, behind houses at Northwood Road. https://t.co/bpz3Rmc0wq


"Noah's body was found by specially trained police officers between two drain access points within a section of the tunnel running under the Translink access road," said Mr McCrisken."

Noah's bike was also found near a house, behind a car, in the same area. It had been there for more than 24 hours before a member of public who lived in the street said she read reports of a missing child and checked the bike and phoned the police.

Located in Southern Bangalore, this is one of the most popular places of worship in Bangalore City.
Devoted to Devi Banashankari, this shrine is visited specially during Rahukala which is believed to be an unfavorable time.


Somanna Shetty, a great devotee of Devi, brought this murti from Badami’s Banshankari Amma Kshetram.
It is said that many years ago, three ladies visited this shrine and requested the pujari to conduct puja for them. Since it was the inauspicious rahu kaal, the pujari refused.


However, upon their insistence, he conducted the puja. When he returned with prasadam, the ladies vanished. This made the people believe that they were none other than the Devi herself. Since then, the people perform poojas here during the Rahukaal.

People use lemons as a diya. Lemons are cut from the centre and their pulps are removed, for pouring oil in them.
It is strongly believed that Devi removes all the troubles from the life of her devotees during the Rahukala although it is considered inauspicious for any pooja.

महाभारत की कहानी कौन नहीं जानता।लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि महाभारत के ज्यादातर पात्र किसी न किसी श्राप में फंसे थे।अगर ये श्राप न होते तो कदाचित महाभारत की कहानी कुछ और होती।हिन्दु पौराणिक ग्रंथों में विभिन्न श्रापों का वर्णन मिलता है व हर श्राप के पीछे कोई कहानी अवश्य होती है।


आइए आज जानते हैं महाभारत कथा में वर्णित कुछ श्रापों के बारे में।

1) राजा पाण्डु को ऋषि किन्दम का श्राप

एकबार महाराज पाण्डु शिकार खेलने वन गए।झाडियों के पीछे कुछ हिल रहा था। मृग है सोचकर राजा ने बाण चलाया जो जाकर ऋषि किन्दम और उनकी पत्नी को लगा।वे दोनो रति-क्रीड़ा में लिप्त थे।

जब राजा ने उन्हें देखा तो बहुत दुखी हुए कि ये मुझसे क्या पाप हो गया।बहुत क्षमा याचना के बाद भी किन्दम ऋषि ने पाण्डु को श्राप दे दिया कि जब भी वो किसी स्त्री को काम भावना से स्पर्श करेंगे उसी क्षण उनकी मृत्यु हो जाएगी।पश्चाताप करने, वे सिंहासन पे अन्धे राजा धृतराष्ट्र को बैठाकर...


..स्वयं अपनी रानियों कुंती व माद्री के साथ वन चले गए।पांडवों का जन्म भी कुंती को ऋषि दुर्वासा द्वारा दिए गए मंत्र से हुआ था जिसमे किसी भी देव का स्मरण कर उस देव से कुंती,पुत्र प्राप्त कर सकती थी।एक बार माद्री पे मोहित हो जब पांडु ने उसे स्पर्श किया,उसी क्षण पांडु की मृत्यु होगयी।


2) उर्वशी का अर्जुन को श्राप

महाभारत युद्ध से पहले जब अर्जुन दिव्यास्त्र प्राप्त करने स्वर्ग गए तो वहां उर्वशी नाम की अप्सरा उन पर मोहित हो गयी। अर्जुन ने जब उन्हें अपनी माता के समान बताया तो यह सुनकर उर्वशी क्रोधित हो गयी और अर्जुन को श्राप दे डाला कि तुम नपुंसक की भांति...
