RT If u Find Any Value Addition to Your Trading..

 Every Trader Goes through Phase of Overtrading at some point in his Career.

It's never Intentional, It's just a Psychological Reaction to a Series of Profit Or losses.
3 Emotions which Lead to Overtrade.

Fear :- Attempt to make up for a loss..

Excitement :-When Markets are Moving Fast, Traders rush to Make New positions Without Proper thinking
(Out of Excitement)..

Greed :- When traders are already in profit, they want to Make "Even More"..
The MAIN Reasons for Overtrading :--

1) Series Of losses And Urgency to recover them as quickly as possible.

In this Process, We Forget the Utmost Fact that
'Each Trade is Unique in it's own aspects..'
2) When we do not Follow the limits of Our Own Trading Plan. 
And feel tempted to increase frequency of trades
(Outside of The Trading Plan).
How to Overcome it...??

1) Make a Strict Trading Plan and Follow it To the Core.
Keep Improving it,

Make it more restrictive..

Add Strict Entry and Exit Parameters.

2) Back up Your Decisions with Crystal-Clear Analysis.
Decision Making should be Always Final.
2) Before Placing any Trade, Identify Nature Of Decision.
Is it Rational..?
Or
Is it Emotional..?

Strictly Control Yourself If u Feel it's an Emotional Decision.
This is the First step to Avoid Getting carried away in flow of Emotions.
4) Walk Away From The Terminal If u hit 2 Profits or 2 losses in a Row..
If u place a 3rd Trade, There is 100% Chance that It's Being Driven By Pure Emotion.
You'll Totally Loose Control, if 3rd Outcome isn't in ur Favor.
Always Remember,

"Our Next Trade Doesn't Owe us What we lost or gained in the Previous One."

Each Trade is UNIQUE.

How you can filter stocks for Intraday trades - 🧵

As a kid, we would do homework before school the next day - you have to do homework here too. A specific sector performs on a particular day and studying things a day before will help you spot that particular sector. (1/11)

To prepare for the next trading day, you got to check the Index charts of all sectors. You got to keep an eye on a specific Index if you see a few factors:

- If any Index closed exactly at the resistance, you can get a trade on either side on the next day. (2/11)

- If it gave a rejection candle at resistance.

- If any Index closed exactly at support, you can get a trade on either side the following day.

- If there was a bullish signal at the support.

- If any Index gave a breakout or breakdown and then gave a good closing. (3/11)

- If any Index has taken support at 50 or 200 EMA.

Once you spot the Index, look at all the stocks in that particular Index. Pick at least 3-4 stocks from that Index and add them to your watchlist for the next day. It's ideal to check both higher and lower timeframes. (4/11)

What you should do next day? (When I am unable to check Indices and stocks a day before, I sometimes directly start with this process.)

- Start with checking the top gainers/losers list. I observe market from 9:15 to 9:45am to check the sectors performing well on that day.(5/11)

Scientists of the modern world credit an English scientist John Dalton (1766 CE -1844 CE) for the Atomic Theory.


And this is because, most of us are not even aware of an ancient Indian Sage named Kanada, who was the first to formulate the theory of atoms, almost 2600 yrs before Dalton and talk about earth's gravity.


Rishi Kanada was born around 600 BCE in Dwarka, Gujarat and he was the son of a philosopher named Ulka. He was fascinated with the minute detailing of the things right from his childhood. Once, when he was very young, he accompanied his father on a journey to Prayaga.


He saw plentiful grains scattered along the path leading to the shore of river Ganga. It's a tradition in Hindu families to scatter the grains for the ants and birds to feed on them. Suddenly, an ant caught his attention, who was feeding on a rice grain.


He was mesmerised by this very fact that how a small grain of rice becomes food for the ant but to satisfy the hunger of a person so many grains are needed together. This incidence made him realize the importance of a single grain of rice.

Don't look at deadlines negatively! They are a useful tool to measure your performance + stimulate you to do more. You can learn a lot from a single deadline. Did you work too little or too much? Was the goal too ambitious or easy? Apply lessons to the future work. 😉 #MyMindset

Do something for the long-term. Everything else is a distraction. 🛑 Nowadays I always check if the thing I'm doing aligns with my long-term plans. If not — that is probably not the best thing to do at the moment. #MyMindset

3. She was insane.
