The mention of Chanakya would be lacking from ancient Indian history. Indian educator, economist, lawyer, royal counsellor, and philosopher Chanakya, also referred to as Kautilya, was also a teacher. He also went by the name Vishnugupta.

 He is credited with writing the Arthashastra, an Indian political book. In India, he is also credited with founding political science and economics.
the traditional economist Chanakya. The Maurya dynasty is credited with his contributions to the development of classical economics. But his creative output vanished around the end of the Gupta Empire and wasn't found again until the 20th century.
Along with writing intellectual works, he also helped Chandragupta Maurya, the first Mauryan Emperor, become emperor. Chanakya was so shrewd and knowledgeable that he managed to make a commoner the king.
He consequently had a significant impact on the Maurya Empire. He also served as Chandragupta and Chandragupta's son Bindusara's principal counsellor.

While serving as the Emperor's main strategist and advisor, he was also a key contributor to the writing down of several pearls of wisdom that still hold true today.
Popular belief of goodness

The adage "a good deed will be returned by a good deed" is well known and widely accepted. In other words, whatever good we spread throughout the universe will find a way to return to us.
We have always prioritized doing good things, or at the very least, our elder generations have made sure we do so. Our first obligation is to practice good deeds and count benefits.
The cosmos does, however, work in strange ways. When our good efforts and intentions fail, we are forced to reflect on our behavior.
We did it because... Exists anything truly good?
We feel successful when we achieve even the smallest tasks that make someone smile, even just a glimpse of a smile.

Therefore, bear in mind this advice from Acharya Chanakya if you want to make others around you happy and smile often!
Steer clear of these people
Chanakya describes three categories of persons in his philosophical writings that shouldn't be helped because doing so will only make their helpers unhappy and troubled!
#1 Infamous or charatcterless women
.
When they witness a damsel in trouble, people are frequently affected on an emotional level. However, one should pause to determine whether a woman in such a situation is actually in jeopardy for no fault of her own.
This is due to the terrible fact that there are a lot of ladies out there who are nearly always in problems as a result of their behavior and behaviors!
No loyalty = no help!

Such a woman may lack character, that is, never be honest or faithful to one person, be rude, etc. The man who wishes to care for such a woman will only experience agony and trouble as a result of helping or caring for her.
Destruction of self
.
These women simply want males for their own selfish needs, i.e., to be taken care of. One's social standing and personal life may crumble if they become trapped by such a woman.
#2 Keep away from sad people!

One should avoid those who tend to or pretend to be depressed and lonely without cause, both literally and symbolically. They continually complain about everything and are never satisfied with what they have.
Being around such a depressed person will make you perpetually depressed. People who are unhappy despite having no justification for doing so are frequently envious of other people's joy.
Stay in peace
.
When they have no justification for doing so, they continue to curse other people and feel deceived. It is recommended to stay far away from these folks as their presence seriously disrupts one's mental calm.
#3 Advising stupid people
.
Never provide advice to naive individuals. You are mistaken if you believe that educating them will benefit them and help them acquire something.

'Treasure Gods' - Sangha Nidhi' and 'Padma Nidhi', Tirumala, Tirupati.

These are the two guards guarding the Wealth and Treasure of Lord Sri Venkateswara.

They are representatives of two treasures of Kubera, the God of Wealth.


One guard who is holding shangam (conch) on both the hands is known as Shanka Nidhi ('nidhi' means wealth).

On the other side, the guard who is holding Lotus flowers on both the hands is known as Padma nidhi.

Shangu is from the ocean which includes all types of wealth like pearls and corals.

Why shagam in his hand? Because shangam only gives the sound of 'omkaram'.

'Padmam' is the symbol of water sources in land like river, lakes, tanks etc. which is very important for all living beings.

As per the tradition, these guards are installed at the third entrance of the temple.

One enters the holy shrine after saluting the first protection threshold - Sankha Nidhi and Padma Nidhi.

Thiru Ooragam:
God Shriman Narayana, our Emperuman, has manifested in the shape of Adhiseshan, the 5 headed snake in this temple.


He is found in a seperate sannidhi next to Ulagalandha Perumal in Thiru Ooragam.
Ooragam' (reptile) signifies Snake and God Vishnu gave darshan to Mahabali as the Serpent God here.

Mahabali Chakravarthy, the grandson of Prahaladhan, did a very large yagam (or) homam to get the Devendra logam, which is called “Swargham”.

But, that lokam belongs to Indiran, who is the King of that Lokam.
Being a top-notch devotee of Sriman Narayanan, he was capitulated by means of temptation and decided to acquire the Devendra Lokam.

To make him understand and punish him, Sriman Narayanan took the Vaamana avatar (dwarf) and requested 3 feet of his land.

How do Hindus choose the right murti for their puja room?

There are no universal rules for choosing murtis followed by all Hindus, but there are many guidelines followed by various Hindu communities.

As for which Devata to choose a murti of, typically a Hindu will select their Ishta Devata or personal favorite, most beloved Deity. This murti will be centermost on the shrine, and the most elaborate.


In addition, many Hindus add extra murtis to represent more of the pantheon in their puja room. Usually at least Ganesha is given a place, even if he is not the Ishta Devata.

This ubiquity in most puja rooms makes Ganesha the most popular Hindu Devata, even though he is not the most common Ishta Devata (an honor that goes to his father Shiva, followed by Hanuman).

This is very unique temple as Shiva and Vishnu both are in the “linga” form in the same Garbhagriham. The Srikovil is in a circular pattern. Temple's Prathishta was done by Parasurama.


Mahadeva and Maha Vishnu in the same Srikovil is very rare Prathishta, but poojas are done separately Dhara is done to Maha Vishnu here. People suffering from “KAIVISHAM” and mental illness are fully cured on drinking a medicinal herb supplied by a nearby family here.


The root of the banyan tree around the Ayyappa Sannidhanam is said to have great powers for skin ailments.

MAHARAANI TARARANI: THE QUEEN OF MARATHAS

Rani Tarabai was the brave daughter-in-law of Chhatrapati Shivaji and one of the greatest medieval Monarchs India ever had.
She was born in 1675 to one of the bravest commander-in-chiefs of Shivaji's Army named Hambir Rao Mohite.


Tarabai was just 8yrs old when she was married to Shivaji's younger son, Rajaram. Mughals and Marathas were constantly at war with each other. Shivaji was crowned the ruler of the Independent Maratha Swarajya in 1674 which was established by him.


However,the great leader died in 1680&the Maratha Samrajya went into a complete&total chaos.Marathas saw some very tough times ahead. In 1689,when Raigad Fort fell to the Mughal Army of over 15000,Shivaji's first wife Saibai and his elder son Sambhaji were captured&put to death.


Sambhaji's wife and son Shahu were taken prisoners to the Mughal court. During the same battle, Shivaji's second son Rajaram(Tarabai's husband) , who was the heir to the throne now, managed to escape using a disguise. He made his way to the Gingee Fort in Tamil Nadu.


Mughal General Zulfikar Khan, however, followed them to Gingee laying siege to the Gingee Fort. From 1690-1698,This was the longest siege by a Mughal Army of any Fort which stands testimony to the military and diplomatic credentials of Rani Tarabai.

Starting my 2nd thread on Sringeri Parampara. This will cover the Jagadgurus after Sri Vidyaranya to Sri Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati.

It is really very tough to match the brilliance and achievements of Vidyaranya. After whom came 15 - Chandrashekara Bharati [1386-1389].

The next Acharya was Nrisimha Bharati [1389-1408]. Harihara raya found a town for this Acharya - Narasimhapuram. Acharya helped the king by guiding him in political affairs. He also initiated the kind with mahamantras for spiritual development.

Subsequent Acharyas were
15-Puroshottama Bharati [1408 - 1448]
16-Shankara Bharati[1448 - 1455]
17-Chandrasekhara Bharati II [1455 - 1464]
18- Nrisimha Bharati II [1464 - 1479]
19-Puroshottama Bharati II [1479 - 1517]

20-Ramachandra Bharati [1517 - 1560]. Sadashiva Raya was emporer of Vijayanagara during this time.
21-Nrisimha Bharati III [1560 - 1573]
22-Nrisimha Bharati IV [1573 - 1576]
23-Nrisimha Bharati V [1576 - 1600]

24-Abhinava Nrisimha Bharati [1600-1623]. When he visited Malahanikareswara temple for first time he noticed there was no Vinayaka there so he took piece of turmeric and drew outline of Ganesha on a pillar and offered puja.

Situated on the banks of the river Kaveri, Magudeswarar Temple is one among Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam. Kshetram is famous Parihara Sthala for Naga Dosham and for performing Tarpanam to the departed souls.


There are 3 sannidhi here for Paramashiva, Mahavishnu and Brahma Deva.

Sthala Puranam says that once Adisesha and Vayu Deva placed Meru parvat at the centre to decide who is stronger among them. Parvatam was held tightly by Adisesha and Vayu blew the wind to push Parvatham.


In this struggle, peak of meru  parvatham broke into 7 pieces and fell in different places as precious gems. Diamond fell at  Kodumudi as Magudeswarar. Panchamirtham abhishekam is very famous here. Vanni tree situated here is very old which contains medicinal values.


It is believed that Agasthiya Muni did Prathishta of Shiva Lingam here. As Adisesha is one of the reason for creation of the temple, this is famous Parihara Sthalam for Naga Dosham. It is believed that those who


who take a bath in the river Kaveri and worship paramashiva and mahavishnu, will be cured of diseases and will get relief from all illness.

How you can filter stocks for Intraday trades - 🧵

As a kid, we would do homework before school the next day - you have to do homework here too. A specific sector performs on a particular day and studying things a day before will help you spot that particular sector. (1/11)

To prepare for the next trading day, you got to check the Index charts of all sectors. You got to keep an eye on a specific Index if you see a few factors:

- If any Index closed exactly at the resistance, you can get a trade on either side on the next day. (2/11)

- If it gave a rejection candle at resistance.

- If any Index closed exactly at support, you can get a trade on either side the following day.

- If there was a bullish signal at the support.

- If any Index gave a breakout or breakdown and then gave a good closing. (3/11)

- If any Index has taken support at 50 or 200 EMA.

Once you spot the Index, look at all the stocks in that particular Index. Pick at least 3-4 stocks from that Index and add them to your watchlist for the next day. It's ideal to check both higher and lower timeframes. (4/11)

What you should do next day? (When I am unable to check Indices and stocks a day before, I sometimes directly start with this process.)

- Start with checking the top gainers/losers list. I observe market from 9:15 to 9:45am to check the sectors performing well on that day.(5/11)

So, about 5 years ago, we got on facebook. Why? Well, facebook has a big audience and they like to consume on facebook. So, we started posting comics there, even though we got paid nothing and facebook made money off the free content.

Why? Because back then, once in a while, you would say "also hey, I sell books" or "hey, I'm going to be signing at this event" and your facebook followers would actually see it.

Effectively, the implicit old arrangement was "facebook lets me reach readers efficiently, and I supply facebook with free content they run ads on."

Over time, like a bad business partner, facebook basically made it impossible to reach your audience without *paying them*. Thus, you supply them free content on which they run ads, and you get nothing in exchange.
