Even Johnny Cochran wouldn’t be able to get Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Brian Kilmeade out of their jam. Those emails are incontrovertible proof, the type that is seldom seen, caught in the act proof, like video of a drunken burglar falling through the roof of a store he

was robbing, imprisoning himself while it is all recorded for posterity on the surveillance system. The question around whether they believe anything they say is settled. Forever. It’s all schtick, an act, a performance. Each of them had a direct line and a completely familiar
rapport with the White House Chief of Staff who was involved in plotting a coup. They knew what they were watching and they all knew who was responsible for it. That is why they called. Anyone want to bet on who was the first to get through to Trump? They believe their audience
is beneath contempt; rubes who deserve the lies because they are worthless to Hannity, Ingraham and Kilmeade. Monstrous cynicism and malice aren’t enough to cause these people to lie about the efficacy of a vaccine that everyone of them has received and that everyone who works at
Fox News has received. They know the statistics. They are indifferent to hundreds of thousands of dead Americans who are gone because they trusted people at Fox News, who hated them enough to watch them suffer and die from a disease that can be controlled. They are as equally
indifferent towards American Democracy. They have gotten a taste of actual power and they love it. For a moment they were disoriented. They wobbled, doubted and hesitated. What the emails reveal is panic over the only thing they truly care about; themselves.
But, in that moment they are all fully revealed for what they are. Meadows, through an absolutely arresting combination of stupidity, malice, extremism, performative buffoonery, sycophancy, opportunism, weakness and plain old fashioned
weirdness is at the center of a plot to end America and the lynchpin to understanding the essential question. A game of Sedition Jenga is afoot. What piece will collapse the conspiracy and expose the story? Does anyone think @RepLizCheney isn’t going to find out what happened
when the first person reached Trump? That she isn’t going to find out what he said? What he ordered? What his intent was? Most Congressional investigations and the hearings that accompany them are tedious affairs that leave no mark. That isn’t going to be the case with the 1/6
hearings. They are shaping up to be as epic as they are necessary for the survival of the American Republic. The information will be laid out before the American people who will have to decide if we are ready for our first dictator. The way we will get him, and it will be a him,
is through the next election or the one after that. The foundation of his campaign will be his base and their indifference to being abused by and lied to by a cabal that hates them but is content to use them for the attainment of power, in this case the type of power that
can’t be taken away in an election. Chairman @BennieGThompson is getting the job done. In the end the American people will have to do ours.

THREAD: 12 Things Everyone Should Know About IQ

1. IQ is one of the most heritable psychological traits – that is, individual differences in IQ are strongly associated with individual differences in genes (at least in fairly typical modern environments). https://t.co/3XxzW9bxLE

2. The heritability of IQ *increases* from childhood to adulthood. Meanwhile, the effect of the shared environment largely fades away. In other words, when it comes to IQ, nature becomes more important as we get older, nurture less.

3. IQ scores have been increasing for the last century or so, a phenomenon known as the Flynn effect. https://t.co/sCZvCst3hw (N ≈ 4 million)

(Note that the Flynn effect shows that IQ isn't 100% genetic; it doesn't show that it's 100% environmental.)

4. IQ predicts many important real world outcomes.

For example, though far from perfect, IQ is the single-best predictor of job performance we have – much better than Emotional Intelligence, the Big Five, Grit, etc. https://t.co/rKUgKDAAVx https://t.co/DWbVI8QSU3

5. Higher IQ is associated with a lower risk of death from most causes, including cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, most forms of cancer, homicide, suicide, and accident. https://t.co/PJjGNyeQRA (N = 728,160)
This is NONSENSE. The people who take photos with their books on instagram are known to be voracious readers who graciously take time to review books and recommend them to their followers. Part of their medium is to take elaborate, beautiful photos of books. Die mad, Guardian.
