Hindu Temple demolishion by Aurangzeb

Mughal ruler Aurangazeb had destroyed hindu Temples and had constructed mosques with the remains during his reign as he believed in radical islamic nature.

Let's read a little about one of the Temples which was demolished by him.

Govind Dev Temple, Vridanvan, #UttarPradesh, is one of the most sought after holy places in Vrindavan on account of its unique architecture.

It was constructed in 1590 by King Man Singh of Amer, at a cost of ten million rupees.

During the reign of Aurangzeb, it was plundered in 1670 and now only a three storied structure remains.

In prior anticipation of this invasion, the temple idols were transferred to Jaipur secretly and since then the original idol of Lord Govindaji is worshipped there in Jaipur.
During the British rule from 1873-77 the main structure of the temple was repaired again and a new temple was built behind this temple where the Pratibhu Vigraha (replica) of lord Govind dev is worshipped along with the deity of Sri Radharani.

A ruler with a cruel idea of destroying our heritage to break the Hindu unity had been idolised for ages in our nation, the question is, how long will this go on?

Doesn't the Hindus here deserve the correct History? How long will we remain misinformed?
