I saw few supposed RW handles saying that they felt ashamed that their support for @narendramodi is being wasted. Some of them even said that the man lacks guts and that @myogiadityanath should take over. Though I never misjudge their intentions, I have a few words for them. 1/7

First: your outrage is more chronic than anything. For every reason, every moment you subject PM Modi to your self styled appraisal. You might want to know that you will not last a day in office, while facing the ordeal that Modi faces. Modi is here as a leader of the nation. 2/7
And your expectation of what he will do comes from your wishful thinking: and not from the aftermath of any action that you expected him to take. For a few of you, your choice and hope on Modi comes from your hate for a section of people, and not from love of your own faith. 3/7
Coming to the incidents of yesterday: you compared him and @AmitShah with Shaheenbagh agitation and your perception of their inaction. What you all are missing is that his detractors are expecting him to give him some attention. Are the perpetrators of CAA riots not in jail? 4/7
These crooks are expecting @narendramodi to commit a blunder, by way of taking strict action so that they can approach the international media as victims. And the worst thing is that they know that these "chronic outraging" RW handles are also pressing for the same action. 5/7
Remember that peace in Punjab was restored in the 90's with great sacrifice and patience. Yesterday was an attempt to fuel that unrest in Punjab again: and the only way it would happen is by Modi committing a blunder. Modi and Amit Shah will not let that happen. Trust them! 6/7
Lastly:
Yogendra Yadav is now shitting bricks.
Prashant Bhushan has dung on his face: how will he now go to the SC?
Rakesh Tikait is running for cover.
Small setbacks are always good to have, because the ultimate success is what we are all striving for.
Once again: #TrustNaMo 7/7
Please note that these tweets come from a Swayamsevak of 3 decades, at times where we were being heckled for canvassing for @BJP4Karnataka. From the son of a Swayamsevak of the 40s: who didn't get expect or get any recognition in these days when it's fashionable to be RW.
Yogendra Yadav booked under UAPA.
Rakesh Tikait booked under UAPA.
Twitter handles that instigated riots yesterday also under watch.
200 people detained.
Expect action now.

How can we use language supervision to learn better visual representations for robotics?

Introducing Voltron: Language-Driven Representation Learning for Robotics!

Paper: https://t.co/gIsRPtSjKz
Models: https://t.co/NOB3cpATYG
Evaluation: https://t.co/aOzQu95J8z

🧵👇(1 / 12)

Videos of humans performing everyday tasks (Something-Something-v2, Ego4D) offer a rich and diverse resource for learning representations for robotic manipulation.

Yet, an underused part of these datasets are the rich, natural language annotations accompanying each video. (2/12)

The Voltron framework offers a simple way to use language supervision to shape representation learning, building off of prior work in representations for robotics like MVP (
https://t.co/Pb0mk9hb4i) and R3M (https://t.co/o2Fkc3fP0e).

The secret is *balance* (3/12)

Starting with a masked autoencoder over frames from these video clips, make a choice:

1) Condition on language and improve our ability to reconstruct the scene.

2) Generate language given the visual representation and improve our ability to describe what's happening. (4/12)

By trading off *conditioning* and *generation* we show that we can learn 1) better representations than prior methods, and 2) explicitly shape the balance of low and high-level features captured.

Why is the ability to shape this balance important? (5/12)

Fake chats claiming to be from the Irish African community are being disseminated by the far right in order to suggest that violence is imminent from #BLM supporters. This is straight out of the QAnon and Proud Boys playbook. Spread the word. Protest safely. #georgenkencho

There is co-ordination across the far right in Ireland now to stir both left and right in the hopes of creating a race war. Think critically! Fascists see the tragic killing of #georgenkencho, the grief of his community and pending investigation as a flashpoint for action.

Across Telegram, Twitter and Facebook disinformation is being peddled on the back of these tragic events. From false photographs to the tactics ofwhite supremacy, the far right is clumsily trying to drive hate against minority groups and figureheads.

Declan Ganley’s Burkean group and the incel wing of National Party (Gearóid Murphy, Mick O’Keeffe & Co.) as well as all the usuals are concerted in their efforts to demonstrate their white supremacist cred. The quiet parts are today being said out loud.

The best thing you can do is challenge disinformation and report posts where engagement isn’t appropriate. Many of these are blatantly racist posts designed to drive recruitment to NP and other Nationalist groups. By all means protest but stay safe.
