1/— OI unwinding for Aggressive trades

Okay, so you must begin your search for these type of trades "ANYDAY AFTER 1 PM".

For eg:

If the market is going up and you spot some large unwinding on the call side.

Sell the immediate puts from where the market reversed to go up.

Where option sellers are trapped no need to check the support resistance as a big directional move is going to happen.

Just aggressively sell puts straight up, pocket the higher premiums and make high returns.

Explaining the logic in the next tweet.

Logic:

Simple, option sellers are tapped. In this case on the call side.

When a seller is trapped he will buy his option back.

Option buyer will not be in a hurry to square off as he is in profit.

This will result in a huge spike in calls.

A call option seller cutting his position means he is not confident that the market will go down or sideways.

We take a hint from him and sell puts to make a profit.

1. Technicals

Let's start by doing some basic technical analysis.

We'll look at:

• Weekly charts
• Daily charts.
• Hourly / 60 min charts.

1. Weekly-

• The market has broken out from the trendline and is extremely bullish.

• However, also note that there are 4 continuous green candles in the weekly chart.

• Until Bnf closes below the current green candle low which is 37680, bias should not be bearish.


2. Daily:

• Candlestick pattern—Bullish Marubozu on the daily timeframe.

• Chart Pattern—Gave a rectangle breakout and is running up.

Buyers are in control so until we close below the wick made today can't take aggressive bearish positions.

1/ Cup and handle Pattern

Happens during an uptrend.

The cup portion has a U-shaped appearance.

The bears are getting weaker as they are unable to drive the prices below the last low.

1. "Inside candle Strategy"

• His go-to strategy
• Great risk reward
• Identify on 15 min candles
• Trade all without fail

In every video, he talks about this strategy and trades the same too.

2. "Price ko samjane ka koshish karo."

• Everything is based on price action
• No need to check OI data
• Even the psychology of traders can be understood via price

Let's start with technicals. We'll look at:

1. Weekly-

• The past 2 weeks indicate that buyers have entered and are trying to lift the market up.

• 34000 was a strong support earlier too, this should hold for this week at least.


2. Daily:

• If we open flat or gap up on Monday I am expecting this to play out.

• If gap down happens, then the traders who are long would be in a slight panic and we need to observe the price action again after a couple of days for a broader view.

Most of the traders on Twitter are non-directional traders.

Only a few trade on one side according to direction.

Here are 9 benefits of directional trading you cannot miss:🧵

1/ Higher Returns

Playing as per the trend usually gets you more conviction in your trades.

Which then leads to higher returns as you trade with the increased confidence.

Rather than selling 30-30 on each side, for eg, can just sell 90-100 on one side and make more.

2/ Easy management

It is easier to manage directional trades according to stop loss or targets based on patterns.

Don't need additional factors to think of for eg, premiums, distance from the spot, greeks, etc.

3. Avoid adjustments constantly

Non-directional option sellers have to constantly do adjustments to their trades.

Many times their original view is right but then the adjustments go wrong.

To combat these adjustments, they make more adjustments that unnecessarily use margins.

4. Improves price action analysis

You cannot be a good directional trader without having a very good grip on price action analysis.

Constantly using the price to make trades rather than playing for theta leads you to better understand price action.

Subhasish Pani earned +1,41,25,022 profit in Option Buying on Expiry day yesterday.

He captured the down move in both futures and options.

Here's a breakdown of how he earned this profit: 🧵

1/ Breakout Failure

Above 42700, all traders were expecting a breakout.

But do you know failed breakouts are more powerful than breakouts?

Sharp selling will happen if a failed breakdown occurs and he was fully prepared for it.


2/ Hints

He was giving hints from 1-2 months for Option Buyers regarding when they should buy options at a low IV.

The current market scenario was one where the premiums were too low.

According to him, one should plan for a buying trade during such scenarios and target big.

3/ Gap down sharp selling

Prefers 12 o clock momentum usually whenever there is a gap-down scenario.

Already the market above 42700 buyers weren't strong enough. So on Thursday in a gap-down scenario, he was expecting a big downfall.

4/ What trade he took?

He bought 36,000 qty of puts of 42500 strike at 92 and exited them at 391.

(43200 qty is an error by him, correct qty should be 36,000)

I'm posting his chart logics here which he has shared with me realtime.

You will need:
1. Pivots
2. Vwap
3. PDL/PDH (Previous day high/low)
4. Advance/Decline Ratio.

Gave immediate 60 points profit.

The red line marked here was PDL, he trades using these decision points daily. He shorted Nifty futures again the moment it broke that level.

Again made money while pyramiding into his trade.

His sl was PDH, Tuesday 24th Nov high. Would've reversed his position there.

To form a view, let's have a look at both:
1. Technicals
2. Data

Also, 3 strategies to deploy for:

1. Technicals

Let's start with technicals. We'll look at -
1. Daily charts.
2. Hourly / 60 min charts.
3. 15 min charts.

Formed an indecisive candle on the daily timeframe right at support. Unless we sustain below 36900 for 15 mins, the probability of a bounce is high.


2. 15 min charts.

Above Friday's High on 15 min charts, if we sustain that level for 15 mins can sell strangles.

If we gap down on Monday, only selling calls would be a good idea as the probability of the market going below 36900 would increase.


3. Hourly / 60 min charts.

On hourly charts, wait for a 1 hour close above 37900 levels to again look for Future buy opportunities.

The structure of Lower high and lower low will change to a higher high here.


Option chain data.

Shows a stiff resistance at 38000 levels. There was an addition in put writing at 37000 levels, expecting them to run for cover if 36900 breaks.

Positions haven't been built a lot so best is to wait for a day or two.
