Ever since my childhood, I have read that the Jati (NOT Caste) is worst creation of our ancestors. There r many who says JAATI is nt by birth, but it's by Karma, without even knowing the difference between Jaati, Varna and Caste. This has led to #IdentityCrisis.

JAATI is derived from 'Jaat', which simply means common birth.

You take a common birth in a family, which has its own KUL established at time of Vivah (dint you notice that?).

So your common birth (Jaat) is nothing but your KUL. That's why it is called as Jaati, NOT Varna

And that's what you see, there are many KULS (Jaatis) in each Varna. This Jaati is by birth. No one on this planet can change that. How can you even change your KUL?

That's why see so many Jaatis, contrary to only four Varnas.

It is not always necessary that one KUL is one Jaati. Ideally it should have been, having said that when it is combined with profession, many KULS collectively became One JAATI. That's what u see, many KUL Devta/ Devi within one JAATI.

NOT to forget the Varna is also as per Purva Janma. If you don't believe in that it's fine. But, that's the bitter truth, though many modern scholar will have different opinion, rightly so.

But, The problem is why do people don't believe in Jaati or Varna is by birth because

In this thread, I will discuss about "Āryans" from the etymological point of view.

I will prove systematically that Hitler and his Nazis are not Aryans. Other assorted assholes may take note.

We will connect this word "Ārya" with something that we all recognize: Argent (money).

Before we start, here is a good representative picture of an Āryan: an Indian farmer.

The farming tradition here goes back to the ancient times of the Indus-Saraswati civilization, which was by far the largest farming culture in the world, dwarfing Mesopotamia & Egypt in size.

Along with farming, comes surplus and leisure. The Indus-Saraswati civilization created many luxury items and pastimes. It invented board games. It created many material artifacts that appear all along the Indian ocean: from the near-east to Africa.

The flourishing sea-trade spread the artifacts of India far and wide. But nothing was more prized by the rich people of the ancient times, than this deep blue stone: Rājavarta.

This Sanskrit word got corrupted in Persian as Lajaward & then transmitted to Latin as Lapis Lazuli.

This stone appears in Egypt and Mesopotamia. Rich people got buried with it. Emperor Tutankhamen's tomb has got it.

But there was only one mine for Lazurite stones in the ancient past: in Badakshan in today's Afghanistan. It was an outpost of the Indus-Saraswati civilization.

The response of Western pagans/polytheists to ongoing Muslim and Christian aggression against Hindus in India is truly disgraceful. Daily these pagans whine and whimper about Christian hegemony and constantly embellish their oppression in the West. 1/5

Rudra and Apollo [A thread]

In Vedic literature, one of the most frequent names of Rudra is शर्व ("archer").

Yajurveda 4.5 (Taittiriya Samhita) is popularly known as Shri Rudram or Śatarudrīya

Its fifth Anuvaka starts with

नमोभवाय च रुद्राय च नमः शर्वाय च पशुपतयेच

Infact, the Śatarudrīya starts with:

नमस्तेरुद्रमन्यव उतोत इषवेनमः ।
नमस्ते अस्तुधन्वनेबाहुभ्यामुततेनमः ॥

"Veneration to your wrath, O Rudra. Veneration to your arrow as well; Veneration to your bow and veneration to your arms" (Yajurveda 4.5.1.1).

In fact, in the entire Vedic literature, triśūla is not mentioned anywhere as the weapon of Rudra-Śiva. This is only mentioned in Post Vedic literature(Epic and Puranic)

Likewise, God Apollo is renowned in Ancient Greek literature as "The Archer".

In Illiad (c. 800 BC), The most frequent phrase used by Homer to describe Apollo is "Apollo who shoots from afar"

Chhath Mahaparva: Why in Bihar?

During the Vedic period, a demon called ‘Gayasur’ lived in ‘Keekat Pradesh’, a vast area spanning most of central India. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. Gayasur was massive in size too. It is said that when he lay on the ground,

his head would fall in northern India and his legs in the Andhra region. Most significantly, his heart would lie in Gaya.

The devtas were very scared of Gayasur as he would often trouble them. They were desperate to get rid of him and so they approached Lord Brahma.

But Brahma said He was helpless because Gayasur was among the greatest devotees of Lord Vishnu and nothing could be done to the demon.

The devtas then went to Lord Vishnu but He, too, was very reluctant to end the life of His most ardent devotee. The devtas suggested to Vishnu

that He could at least allow a ‘yagna’, invoking His name, to be performed on Gayasur’s heart, which lay in the Gaya region.

Lord Vishnu reluctantly agreed and approached Gayasur, who realised that the performance of the yagna – that too in Vishnu’s name – would lead to his

instant death. But he couldn't refuse the request because he was a passionate devotee of Vishnu.

Lord Vishnu, in turn, blessed Gayasur that his name would never ever be forgotten. Vishnu ordained that the place where a yagna was to be performed on Gayasur's heart – that is,

Ayodhya means an unconquerable city, it is one of the 7 sacred cities of Bharata which leads to the gateway of Moksha. Situated on the bank of Sarayu, Ayodhya is the birthplace of Shri Ram.

Valmiki Ramayana gives a beautiful description of this great city as follows:

With welllaid out thoroughfares, the beautiful and prosperous city of Ayodhya extended for twelve yojanas in length and three yojanas in breadth.

राजमार्गेण महता सुविभक्तेन शोभिता ।
मुक्तपुष्पावकीर्णेन जलसिक्तेन नित्यश: ।।1.5.8।।

तां तु राजा दशरथो महाराष्ट्रविवर्धन: ।
पुरीमावासयामास दिवं देवपतिर्यथा ।।1.5.9।।

It looked splendid with its welllaid out & broad highway strewn with flowers & regularly sprinkled with water. Dasartha, augmenting the prosperity of kingdom, lived in Ayodhya like Indra in heaven.

In 664 CE, he discovered soils in China containing Saltpetre (primary constituent of gunpowder).

Chinese studies of Chemistry of saltpetre show evidence of Indian origin.

Of course, this is not to say that Chinese have no contribution to Gunpowder technology. They improvised it & made innovations.

However, the initial knowledge of Gunpowder came to China from India.

त्रेताग्निमन्त्रपूतं वा समाविश्य द्विजो भवेत् ||४३||

ज्ञानविज्ञानसम्पन्नः संस्कृतो वेदपारगः |
विप्रो भवति धर्मात्मा क्षत्रियः स्वेन कर्मणा ||४४||

The kSatriya who goes over & above the duties meant for him: who is forward-facing in battle for the welfare of cows & brAhmaNas and he who enters his three shrauta fires [after death]; such a kSatriya becomes a dvija (means brAhmaNa here);

Becomes? In this life? So, a kSatriya can just become a brAhmaNa then? No, because the shloka clearly refers to one who was slain (hataH) for the noble ends and/or reached the other world after being committed to his three holy fires in the cremation (samAvishya). Thus, no doubt.
