So many updates on #SequentScientific Results, almost none focus on the most important metric

Net profit before tax and exceptional items (True Cash earned by the company) increase by ~55% YoY

ROCE now above 20% and PAT increase by 36.5% are signs of Operating Leverage

Before Op Leverage kicked in for Laurus, its ROCE was in ~14%

The Advisor onboarded created the animal healthcare business for Boehringer Ingelheim (~2nd largest animal healthcare business in the world with net sales of ~4.5 Billion+ and presence in over 150 countries

Look for qualitative insights in a business, quantitative insights are just ~10% of the work

The ad was on point - Indians before buying a car or any vehicle obsess over the mileage the most among all the other specifications.

We as a society are very value conscious.

Nobody has to teach us to drive a good bargain.

The logic for obsessing over mileage also checks out.

If a vehicle gives good mileage then over time as owners of the vehicle you will end up spending less on it in fuel and other added costs.

This ability to gauge long term value before buying something is magically lost when we enter stock market.

Here too you should be asking your stocks - 'Kitna deta hai'?

This time instead of obsessing over mileage, you should be obsessing over cash flows.

Sequent is a long gestation stock, it won't deliver it's real earnings until FY23-25
