We need brahmin swayamsevaks for strengthening our Sampradaya in order to support&promote rest of the society. Those loukikas may switch to Vaidika mode in their attire,food practices, daily chores at least during weekends to start with.Narrow d gap btw real Vaidikas&loukikas.🙏

 Once all brahmins learnt Vedas&practiced brahminhood by performing yajnas,teaching scriptures&officiating rituals for traivarnikas. After British govt, majority of them switched to English edu. Only few families stuck with Vedaaddhyayanam&related practices. Eng eductd left āchara
Hence Vaidikas felt it difficult to mingle with them due to catching up with their anācāra practices.Vaidikas hesitated to take food 4m loukikas due to same reason. Today d gap is widened far. Now2separate entities they've become despite they need to survive with help of loukikas
Many Brahmin youth(incldng girls) though remain spiritual in gen natural to their custom, don't show interest in Vaidik practices but turn to modern gurus who don't stress upon traditional practices that kept them happy so far for generations.They may not be interested in rituals
Like Sraaddha, Nityapuja, Upakarma etc but attend dhyana,yoga classes conducted by new age gurus. When they quit their practices, Vaidikas won't get support to survive. They too wud quit Veda addhyayanam to turn towards loukika lifestyle. Slowly Vedas won't find learners.Extinct

This convo started with Archakas issue. Why Hindu society as such didn't feel disturbed when Govt brought this law. How it was construed as smthng concerned w brahmins alone?
@RSSorg works on broader Hindu ideals but believes in Varna-less Hindu unity. But all Sankaracharyas believe that Varnasrama system infact is naturally created by Sarveswara based on human nature thats meant to do only good to Hindu Society.

We are called Brahmins in general but we've broadly 2 distinct divisions among ourselves. Vaidika smātas, Agama brahmins(Sivacharyas, Bhattacharyars etc). Among smartas few are purohitars who officiate rituals for non brahmin groups. They're also called
Panchangakkarars. Traditionally all these3are not sharing relationships by marriage due to difference in kulacharas.But basically all 3hold mutual respects for each other.These purohitas are bridges btwn Vaidikas&non brahmins. But d gap happnd btwn Vaidikas&Purohits had prevented
Smooth relationships between brahmins&Non brahmins. Dravidian politics played havoc on the psyche of entire brahmin community as such. When ppl cudn't find their own feet firmly placed, it was impossible for any1 to fill d gap created.
Now we need to sit & firm up our commitment
& responsibilities towards each other & put up a collective face in front of rest of Hindu society. We had several intermediate layers as cussion which we've lost over a period of time. I'm working on it & to come out with a plan sooner than later.
When Brahmins reinvent their
Roots & follow& nurture it, they can lead the society again by their contribution towards the overall growth of Hindu society.

To serve the society till its end only to reap the fruits after its death in heavens. As long he is alive, he should serve the humanity by all means. His vedic knowledge & performance of yajnas everything shall help the society at large. He shall accept strains gleefully &Serve🙏
When we talk on the need of swayamsevaks, obviously we need pracharaks too. Without pracharaks, swayamsevaks will turn unguided. Better brahmins in RSS serving the nation as pracharaks come back to community service to serve the same society but with broadened & deepened vision🙏
This is a commendable job done by 2 purohits from Telugu brahmin community. They've brought out a book on rituals in Tamizh script for TN purohits who know Tamizh script alone. Many non brahmin families use the services of these purohits for performing rituals in their houses.🙏
Our graceful Maharshis have drafted beautiful kriyapaddhati for non brahmin communities using suitable verses from Puranas. Kamalakara bhatta(400+yrs old) too has written paddhati for NBs.
Even Krishnapremi Maharaj had recently developed a book for all members of Hindu society🙏

Ok, I'll hop on this Elizabeth Warren/Native American testing bandwagon (gently and non-politically).

I've been a @23andMe customer for a while, and have followed their ancestry updates closely.

All is more or less as expected....except for this bit about Native American.


The family is almost completely composed of Spanish peasants (from various regions) who emigrated, along with a massive wave in the late 19th-cent./early 20th-cent., to Cuba back when it was a booming economy (richer than Spain's) and worth emigrating to (Communism killed that).

Also, the native population of Cuba was annihilated early on---was the first place the Spanish colonized after all. Having a native background in Cuba would be like having the same in, say, Massachusetts, particularly if you're (say) mostly Irish. Just really, really unlikely.

(Note: the North African/Arab background is less mysterious. The Iberian peninsula was part of the Muslim world for centuries. It would be odd *not* to have some Arab/Middle Eastern background coming from Spain. Given the family is mostly from Northern Spain, it's small though.)

I have a Spanish passport, have been back to the ancestral villages in Spain, seen the church where my grandmother was baptized, my grandfather told me stories about growing up as the child of Spanish colonists in rural Cuba. The native bit just clashes with all the family lore.

The legacy site's CSS is what happens when hundreds of people directly write CSS over many years. Specificity wars, redundancy, a house of cards that can't be fixed. The result is extremely inefficient and error-prone styling that punishes users and developers.

The PWA's CSS is generated on-demand by a JS framework that manages styles and outputs "atomic CSS". The framework can enforce strict constraints and perform optimisations, which is why the CSS is so much smaller and safer. Style conflicts and unbounded CSS growth are avoided.

It is believed that this is birth place of Kashyapa Maharishi’s sons, Arunan& Garudan. Arunan(charioteer of Surya)was physically handicapped.He was a Shiva devotee.Arunan wanted to visit Kailash to have Shiva Darshan,but Surya Dev denied permission.

So Arunan disguised as a girl & was on his way to Kailash.On the way Surya Dev saw this girl & outraged her modesty.Shiva was very angry with Suryan for misbehaviour & cursed him to get darkened. Whole world plunged into darkness.Surya Dev pleaded to Bhagwan Shiv to forgive him.

Shiva Bhagwan asked him to go to Thirumiyachur & worship him there. As advised, Surya Dev performed rigorous penance, placed murthi of Shiva& Parvathy on an elephant & took them to the clouds.Shiva in this temple is known as Meganathaswamy,Devi is known as Lalithambigai


Even after severe penance,Shiva does appear,so Surya Dev cries out in agony.Disturbed by his call, Parvathy protests.Siva pacifies her & offers relief to Surya Dev.The sculpture of Shiva pacifying Ambal shows her sullen from one angle &smiling from another.

1/ I am seeing more and more founder secondary in venture rounds (Secondary = founders selling some of their shares before some other shareholders are able). Series B-D. I see both as an investor and through entrepreneur circles.

2/ I like secondary for entrepreneurs. Moderation is key but in a lot of situations I think it helps accelerate the co. Lots of very smart investors disagree. Here are my thoughts.

3/ Magnitude: My basic rule of thumb from what I see is market is 4+ yrs and up to 10% of founder’s equity stake with some $ cap that makes sense given stage etc. (typically <$10m)

4/ The entrepreneurial journey is brutally hard. Giving some financial relief helps remove one piece of pressure. I don’t think that secondary in the magnitude mentioned impacts the drive/persistence of great entrepreneurs.

5/ That secondary means they will be able to just sleep knowing they can pay their kids’ tuition. Secondary will make most founders better at their jobs, thus accelerating the co.
