The CPC, and their enabling press & surrogates, wish us to believe they haven't behaved like Trump's GOP. That they haven't copies Trump tactics, to try to get it to work in Canada as well.

during the day of the election, for CPC leader, I made a screenshot of CBC PnP's coverage - when the second ballot count had just been announced. Note that before the third ballot, Leslyn Lewis had the highest percentage of votes. You know who Dr Lewis' followers are? M*GA
An example, early on - August 27, when Erin O'Toole promised to 'Fight' for Canadians. Where else have we heard 'fight'? Think of Trump & Cruz, when they were whipping up the crowds on Jan 6, before they mobbed the halls of Congress
Here is Charles Adler, responding to CPC MP Findlay regarding her post where she shared a conspiracy site & asked us to beware of Finance Minister Freeland. Btw, Findlay never apologized to Freeland
Also, regarding tweet 7/, CPC leader O'Toole never penalized her for this. When asked by reporters for his comment, he hid behind his office staff & had them respond. Their statement was that MP Findlay deleted the tweet. That's it!

Press, like Postmedia's Lorrie Goldstein, are mouthpieces for the CPC. He comes to their rescue, when they're under fire from Cdns. They have not disavowed some of his Trump-like rhetoric. Here's a sample of his type of rhetoric
as far as I'm concerned, as long as the writers that support the CPC have a reputation for using similar tactics as Trump & the GOP, the CPC should not be using them to further their message(s) - if they wish Cdns to believe they're not Trump-lite
these are their comms people - whether by association through Postmedia, or as press secretaries for conservative politicians - in this case Matt Wolf is provincial, but the Alberta UCP often share the same material with the CPC

the CPC have used the RCAF as a form of branding. Please check my pinned tweet-thread for more on this topic. Trump has also surrounded himself with law & order types & made a big deal about Space Force & so on. Both CPC & 45 use military, and similar orgs, as brand
I also see a parallel between 45 and his focus on industries that are transitioning out as well as primarily staffed by males, and the same focus from the CPC. My screenshot doesn't show the date, but the file date is Sept. 23, 2020
the CPC want us to think they're more honest than Trump. Yet it was dishonest of them to post a video that they added words to the post, supposedly said by PM Trudeau, but you can play the video they shared & the message is different than their claim
the CPC's use of terminology like "wealthy, elite & insider friends" sounds like Trump at one of his rallies, IMHO. This push by Mr O'Toole (and Scheer before him), to come across like the humble person raised in a modest background, is disingenuous

All 3 led to massive abuse.

Other 'therapists' would badger kids until they invented stories about watching alligators eat babies dropped into a lake from a hot air balloon. Kids would deny anything happened for hours until the therapist 'broke through' and 'found' the 'truth'.
FC was a movement that started with the claim severely handicapped individuals were able to 'type' legible sentences & communicate if a 'helper' guided their hands over a keyboard.
