Tether Price Manipulation Thread:

Tether has been manipulating #Bitcoin's price upwards for years now by printing unlimited, and unbacked $USDT.

This thread will cover the controversial aspects surrounding Tether, and how it will eventually meet its demise.

 1) Tether is a stable coin that was first launched in 2012.

According to the company, Tether is backed 1:1 with the U.S dollar, although this isn't actually the case.

Bitfinex, and Tether have refused to show audits of their reserves, which is held in offshore bank accounts.
2) In 2019, The United States District Court sued Bitfinex, Tether, and Poloniex for being involved in a massive price manipulation, and fraud scheme in the crypto markets.

In a court hearing, Tether's lawyer admitted the stable coin was only backed by 74% cash, and securities.
3) On Jan 15th 2021, iFinex is supposed to submit documents requested by NYAG's investigation.

4) How the scam works:

Tether can print infinite amounts of (worthless) $USDT.

They then inject this into BTC, ETH, LTC, (and others) to cause prices to pump.

Notice how during the months they stopped printing Tether, the market moves sideways or drops significantly.
This graph also shows the extent to which USDT plays a role in Bitcoin's price action over the years.

Without USDT, Bitcoin wouldn't have reached 35K+

5) The majority of funds flowing into Bitcoin is from Tether.

When Tether ultimately meets its fate, the market will see a major correction as the lawsuit highlights how BTC isn't actually worth the insanely high prices you're seeing now.
6) Considering these bull runs are mostly caused by price manipulation, FOMO, and hype, I don't expect it to last long.

The Bitcoin bubble will likely pop, and see large amounts of its market cap disappear in the months following Tether's demise.
As the lawsuit comes closer, Tether is printing more and more money. My guess is they know they will be found guilty, and are trying to get as much money as possible.

Once this scheme is made aware to the general public, I believe it will be one of the largest scams ever.
7) In more recent news, the U.S Treasury is also supposedly considering new legislation that would deem stable coins as securities, which would allow SEC to sue Tether.

8) Tether currently has the highest volume out of every cryptocurrency on the market. Many assume that when they collapse, it will not affect $BTC at all.

Don't underestimate how much influence Tether has in the crypto markets right now.

Without them, everything would drop.
Once Tether is gone, it will create a liquidity crisis. The money won't just flow to other stable coins, but rather destabilize the entire market.

- Exchanges will stop withdrawals
- Trading will be paused
- Investors will panic
- Prices will crash as people try to sell.
9) Tether buying #Bitcoin

One of Tether's lawyers accidentally admitted that they were purchasing Bitcoin with their reserves.

This confession here confirms what me and others have been saying about Tether.
10) At the end of the day, nobody knows how long this scam will go on for. It could be days, weeks, months, or even years before they are shut down.

But educating yourself on whats happening is vital. I'm a huge proponent of Bitcoin, but this isn't sustainable.
Tether and Bitfinex are ticking time bombs. You don't want to be around them when they go bust.

level, then again he wants to check another indicator named MACD, he wanted to get sure man, Now he do the most intelligent thing to get sure he gets right.

Nearly everyone starts with a lack of respect for how hard it is to consistently make money trading.

It is 2015. You look at a simple strategy.

You hold an equal dollar exposure to:
- Cap Weighted US Stocks (VTI)
- 20+ Yr US Treasury Bonds (TLT)
- Gold (GLD)

And rebalance each month.

(I've extended back a bit with mutual fund prices.)

You'd have 4x your money from 1997 to 2015.

It makes sense. It's harnessing two big sources of risk premia (equity + duration).

It diversifies across 3 macro assets that tend to outperform in different econ environments

1/ Learn Price Action

First of all, you need to focus on learning about price action.

If you do so, you'll be able to understand the big player's footprints better which is critical to know as we can side with them to make profit.

Better to be with them than against them.

2/ Journal your trades

Journaling will change your trading forever.

Why? Because you will precisely know where you are going wrong and whether you keep repeating the same mistakes.

You'll also know in which market you perform the best and in which type of markets you don't.

3/ Avoid losing more than 2% on a trade

I have seen many traders including the really good ones as well, where one big loss will spoil a month or two of their trading year.

The loss becomes so big to overcome that more mistakes are made.

So don't go in a big loss itself.

4/ Think only from a buyer vs seller point of view

You should know who is in control, a buyer or a seller not in options but in futures.

Also understand, at which points do these traders usually tend to give up.

Can take trades confidently and aggressively then.

Form a company with family members and trade under it. The family members should be directors of the company. Will explain why later.

Why form a company?
You will only need to pay 25% flat tax. Individuals have to pay 30% tax above 10 lakh profits.

2. Surcharge Benefits:

You will be charged a lower surcharge in a corporate account.

Total Tax Outlay:

The total tax outlay for individuals is 30% plus surcharge. If you really earn a lot (10 cr +) then you will be paying 42% tax.

Whereas in a company you'll be paying a maximum of 28% tax.

This is how rich people save a lot of their money by paying low taxes.

3. Expenses can be deducted.

All expenses can be deducted from a company account.

Companies:
1. First make a profit.
2. then deduct the expenses
3. & Pay tax on the remaining income

Individuals:
1. First Profit
2. Then Pay tax
3. Expenses with whatever is left.

Your idea is not valuable, at all. All value is in the execution. You think you are an exception; you are not. You should not insist on an NDA to talk about it; nobody serious will engage in contract review over an idea, and this will mark you as clueless.

Technologists tend to severely underestimate the difficulty and expense of creating software, especially at companies which do not have fully staffed industry leading engineering teams ("because software is so easy there, amirite guys?")

Charge more. Charge more still. Go on.

The press is a lossy and biased compression of events in the actual world, and is singularly consumed with its own rituals, status games, and incentives. The news necessarily fails to capture almost everything which happened yesterday. What it says is important usually isn't.

Companies find it incredibly hard to reliably staff positions with hard-working generalists who operate autonomously and have high risk tolerances. This is not the modal employee, including at places which are justifiably proud of the skill/diligence/etc of their employees.

What Happened To Bhakt Prahlad after Hiranyakashipu Vadh

Prahlada became the mighty king of the Asuras after Shri Narsimha killed Hiranyakashipu. Prahlada was even more powerful than his father, Hiranyakashipu ever was. He enjoyed the love and respect of his subjects.


By virtue of his good behaviour, Prahlada conquered the three worlds easily and Indra ran away from the Heavens. Indra then deceived Prahlada into giving him the power of his behaviour and Prahlada lost control of the three worlds.


Asuras grew angry at the Devas for taking advantage of their King's virtuous behaviour and invaded the heavens. The Devas, afraid of the Asuras, enlisted the help of human Kings such as Yayati, Raji and Kakutstha and defeated them.

Prahlada attacked the gods and defeated Indra in battle, forcing the King of the Gods to run for his life. Indra sought help of Lord Vishnu. Infused with his power, Indra defeated Prahlada. The latter understood that Vishnu was helping Indra in battle and he withdrew his forces.


Prahlada first gave his kingdom to Andhaka, but the latter was defeated by Shiva. So Prahlada gave it to his son Virochana and undertook a Tirtha Yatra.
