Franklin Investors are asking if they vote YES when will they get back full payment & what is time limit for winding up. This thread answers their questions which none is answering and all investors want to know

Investors need to refer to #SEBI Rule 14.5 which governs Distribution of Proceeds realized by MF from investments which are illiquid at time of winding up

If amounts are realized from illiquid investment after 2 years of winding up it has to be transferred to Investor Education Fund

Hence the mutual fund is required to sell all bonds within 2 years of winding up i.e. 23rd April 2020. So investors will get back entire amount by 22nd April 2022.

So Winding Up Process cannot continue indefinitely as is being misunderstood by most of investors Experts & even MF

Bonds which have maturity date beyond 22nd April 2022 will be required to be sold prior to it and proceeds will also be required to be distributed prior to it

Even entire recovery from defaulting bonds will also be required to be done and distributed by 22nd April 2022

Those asking whether they should Vote Yes or No may note voting Yes is in interest of investors

SEBI needs to step in with directions that if #FT is unable to sell any illiquid unlisted bond at FMV such Bonds should be transferred to #FT which should pay unit holders

such transfer of bonds is to be done well in time so that the deadline of 22nd April 2022 for distribution of proceeds is not over

Retired Investors should be happy to note that they will get back their money by 22nd April 2022 and they dont have to wait indefinitely

Retired Judge of High Court is required to be appointed to oversee winding up process so that interests of investors are protected and entire proceeds are recovered and distributed by deadline

When Viral Filaments Bond defaulted Templeton India AMC took these bonds in its book owning its liability for loss under Section 15 of Indian Trusts Act, 1882

SEBI & Investors need to ask for similar action in case of default & illiquid bonds to get maximum value in winding up of schemes

Step 2: Which option to sell?

1. Sell put at a support according to charts.

2. Sell put at a strike far away from the spot where you think the probability of the stock falling will be very very low.

3. Sell put at a price where you're willing to buy the stock at.

Step 3: What to do when in profit/loss?

1. If in profit you can just roll up the puts thereby increasing the ROI or shift to other stocks to make more profit.

2. If in loss take delivery of the shares equivalent to the lot size in cash market.

Step 4: What to do after taking the delivery?

1. Sell calls to lower your cost price of the stock. For eg, you took delivery of Reliance at 1900, sell 2100 CE which is about 10% away.

2. Keep doing this till your CE expires ITM and then give delivery of your stock away

I'm having difficulty seeing the need for any other currency in the world other than G$.

If it works, and it is decentralized, then why would we need more than one global-reach currency?

If it does the job perfectly, then why do we need another?

I don't mean there won't be others. What I mean is that maybe Crypto UBI will be like the existing non-democratic crypto market ranking. There will be a first-place market cap amount, and exponential decay to the #2, #3, #4, etc.

This is in contrast to the simplistic view where we assume there will be X systems and they all have more or less the same abstract Y market cap or reach, and they all add up to an integrated system with X*Y market cap.

All you have to do is design the controls the way they want to be designed. If you don't introduce some unneeded damage in it, then there won't be the need to come up with another system that fixes the damage and actually does complete "the system" that we will use.

E.g. Bitcoin would have worked, except it introduced the damage that is Proof-of-Work, which means it is unusable and will be replaced by Ethereum, which will use PoS, thus fixing the damage.

Block and bulk deals are large purchases of stocks by investment banks, mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds, FIIs, and promoters. Tracking block and bulk deals can help give you a sense of what these large players are thinking.

A single transaction where shares more than Rs 10 crores or the number of shares traded are more than 5 lakh is considered a block deal.

Block deals are carried out in separate trading windows. This trading window operates in two shifts of 15 minutes each:

Morning trading window from 8:45 AM to 9:00 AM.
Afternoon trading window from 2:05 PM to 2:20 PM

Block deals happen in different windows to reduce volatility and sudden price movements. Given that they are traded in a separate window, they do not show up on the volume charts.
