VENDING EXPENSES

For everyone who is interested in a vending business, I am going through all of the steps of creating one right now.

And

I want to show you everything so let’s talk about it

-A THREAD-

Your Largest costs are always going to be

- Transportation of the machine (if you have to rent a Uhaul)
- The Machine
- Product

I want to go over all of this with you all
Let’s talk about transporting them first

If you don’t have a way to transport the machine I would always recommend borrowing a truck from someone you know first.

If that’s not the case generally a 1 day uhaul rental will be fine.

P.S. rent a dolly as well
Depending on the machine size the uhaul rental will vary but shouldn’t break the bank. $100-$200 max.
Now is the fun part.

Purchasing the machine

I got this machine on Facebook Marketplace for $1050

Seaga SM22 combo snack/drink machine
After you purchase the machine and get it to wherever it’s going you have to buy the product to put in the machine

Let’s talk about that

I sourced all of my product at Sams Club so that is what I will be using for this example
Let’s breakdown what I purchased

35 Diet Coke $.32each
35 Coke. $.32each
24 12oz Red Bull $2.08each
35 Sprite $.32each
36 MTN Dew $.29each
Now to the snacks (best part)

Flamin Hot Mix (30 pack)

Paid- 12.98 or $.43 each

Assortment of Sun Chips (30 pack)

Paid- $12.98 or .43 each

Classic Mix 50 pack (I got 2 of them)

Paid- $12.98 or $.25 each
And on to the candy

M&M Fudge Brownie $.35each
Peanut M&M’s $.68each
Regular M&M’s $.68each
Reese’s $.70each
Snickers $.68each
Airhead Bites. $.40each
Sour Patch $.62each
Grand total for stocking the machine

Keep in mind (this product will last me a few trips to restock)

Total- $327.40

Paid for on my credit card. (Will pay off before the month is over, just want to get the points)
Now let’s add everything up which isn’t super hard for the

GRAND TOTAL

$1,377.40

That is how much it cost me to open up a vending business with

EXACTLY 0 EXPERIENCE

My first observations in the main thread are here, but this offshoot is needed because there's been so many wise & witty things I've

A THREAD ON @SarangSood

Decoded his way of analysis/logics for everyone to easily understand.

Have covered:
1. Analysis of volatility, how to foresee/signs.
2. Workbook
3. When to sell options
4. Diff category of days
5. How movement of option prices tell us what will happen

1. Keeps following volatility super closely.

Makes 7-8 different strategies to give him a sense of what's going on.

Whichever gives highest profit he trades in.

2. Theta falls when market moves.
Falls where market is headed towards not on our original position.

3. If you're an options seller then sell only when volatility is dropping, there is a high probability of you making the right trade and getting profit as a result

He believes in a market operator, if market mover sells volatility Sarang Sir joins him.

4. Theta decay vs Fall in vega

Sell when Vega is falling rather than for theta decay. You won't be trapped and higher probability of making profit.
