How to identify a potential 2x/3x winner in equity segment with a medium term delivery perspective??

Here is few stocks which made a >5x return since 2 years. All of them shows specific repeated sequence of events.
If u were to ask to form a method out of this
How would u do it?

BHEL

A stock which was trending in twitter till last week bcz of its vertical rally, gave a flag pattern breakout now. Simple and clear price action. Might make further rally from here

Momentum always fade before it reverses. No abrupt reversal in it.
U can see in the pic below, it always passess through a choppy zone, before trend reversal to give a clear momentum.

With a huge gap up and no follow through today, price is still not bearish
means no short now

Before making ur trade entry or even before making a bias of trend as either bullish or bearish, do u use any objective measures to define the trend based on price, volume and momentum?
Price will always go back and forth move no matter how strong the trend is.

So an objecctive way of defining the trend as bullish or bearish will help u to stay out of counter trend trades which usually not only hit SL, but slippages tend to be quite high in case of those trades. If u dont believe that, u can either check ur journal .

In the pic, an example was shown with objectively defining the price trend based on momenum. If price is bullish then either take long entry while price pulls back on 20 SMA or when it makes a new breakout, its very very safe method.

Even one can use simple MACD for defining the trend. Indicator doesnt have any magic, be it custom made or default one. Trick is in identifying the bias when its quite clear and obvious and not to trade till then.

If u are a pullback trader u get to take an entry very close to the end of a counter trend move which offer a very tight SL.
In case for a trend follower, the candle size near to the trend phase he is aiming at is way too larger and hence offer a much wider SL

There is a supertrend indicator in zerodha. For swing go with 60 min chart. Check with different numbers in period and multiplier section.
Check success rate of buy and sell signal generated by system. Apply number according to decide buy and sell for swing trade.

Few paid service provider are using only this signal to give clients buy and sell trade.
Do with your own. Don’t pay them.

A thread of strength in the market.

An analysis which I did during Covid crash with @MashraniVivek on which sectors and stocks were strong, and we did pick pharma, chemical early cycle. Though we do not know where market is heading, doing such exercise always helps to find

strength when market bottoms. Of course, it requires much more reading and conviction building and hence should be taken only as a starting point. Here is how this list has been generated
1. Pick top 500 companies
2. Find list of companies which have fallen < 10% in last 3 months

Totally 61 out of 500 stocks.
This is how the sectors come up.
✍️Auto and Capital Goods stand out
✍️Do not ignore defence for sheer count as there are few companies in sector
✍️Next pocket looks like few beaten down sectors/stocks where may be value is emerging - FMCG, Pharma
