Survival strategy in Sideways /Bear market :

You have to short bad companies , once the price of the stock close below EMA-63..

Simple & Sweet..

Weekly ATR+ 0.1 % ATR value should be your SL..

It will create huge wealth for you in Sideways /Bear market..

The stocks which are breaking EMA-200 / EMA -63 in this bull market , may be good shorting hedge against my long portfolio & If companies , have these characteristics

~ Poor Management Quality
~ Broken Business Model
~ Less pricing power
~ High Debt
~ GOI Intervention

My Basics Risk Management systems in Nifty -100 stocks

If EMA -21 is broken, I do convert naked future into Covered Call strategy with ATM call

If EMA-63 is broken, I do reduce my postion size with 50% & sell 1% DITM

If EMA -200 is breached ,I will book loss & short sell

When it comes to metal, I only listen to Shakthi Shiva & Credit Suisse Team..

They are one of the best in the world, when it comes to metal.

A simple strategy for those who aren’t comfortable with complex 1s like adv pivots, mp, cub, etc.
MIB/WIB/ DIB
1) MIB - Scan for stocks with Monthly inside bar. Eg,Today 02/8; So scan for stocks with July monthly candle inside June monthly candle..

....
2) WIB - Now look for Weekly inside bar amongst stocks filtered in S. no .1 ; For Eg, Today 02/8, Look for stocks within S. no. 1 with weekly bar of 26/7-30/7 inside the weekly bar of 19/7 - 23/7.
3) DIB - Now after doing the above look for stocks with daily inside bar ...

from amongst the list filtered in 2.
For Eg. Today is 02/08, Candle of 30/7 inside candle of of 29/7. Long above PDH with stop of PDL.
In this Eg, long above 29/7 high with stop of 29/7 low. Other methods to go long are break of Cam R4 for long; Reverse for short.

My Basic Trend Following system :

EMA-9> EMA>21>EMA> 63> EMA> 200.

RSI > 55

Weekly bases - Minimum 4 weeks.

Volume up by 200% .

Some others point to note :

Institutional sponsorship must.
Leading group
Annual Growth > 15 %
Quarterly growth > 15%
PEG <2.5

A thread of strength in the market.

An analysis which I did during Covid crash with @MashraniVivek on which sectors and stocks were strong, and we did pick pharma, chemical early cycle. Though we do not know where market is heading, doing such exercise always helps to find

strength when market bottoms. Of course, it requires much more reading and conviction building and hence should be taken only as a starting point. Here is how this list has been generated
1. Pick top 500 companies
2. Find list of companies which have fallen < 10% in last 3 months

Totally 61 out of 500 stocks.
This is how the sectors come up.
✍️Auto and Capital Goods stand out
✍️Do not ignore defence for sheer count as there are few companies in sector
✍️Next pocket looks like few beaten down sectors/stocks where may be value is emerging - FMCG, Pharma
