Very short term or Btst trader can follow 10.2 in 15 mins as a trial stop loss. Any reversal trade can be taken only if nifty close blow 10.2 in 15 mins for intraday.

Though you may have lot of indicators on selecting stock for intraday.

Just add below for selection

1- stock is moving n sectors also moving. Buy stock which is leading sector

2- stock which you are buying intraday also breaking 2/50 days high give preference first.

3- whole market is down and if stock making life high must buy first

4- Try To have watch list of high beta stock which usually after signal have capacity to move 2% or more.

5- Stock which is outperforming index i.e when index fall it going up or when index up it move faster.

Do not short any stock which is trading near 52 week or life high ( at least 8-10%).

It will just take 1 day to clear the high again.

Make it simple rule Do not short stock till its trading 10% near 52 week or life high.

It's on the other end of the spectrum as the book dives into a deep qualitative approach in value investing rather than being fully quantitative like Ben Graham's.

4) Security Analysis

Another book by Ben Graham that dives deep into analysing and understanding the valuations of any company you pick up to study.

1. The moving average structure - Many traders just look at the 200 ma test or closing above/below it regardless of its slope. Let's look at all the interactions with 200 ma where price met it for the first time after the trend change but with 200 ma slope against it

One can clearly sense that currently it is one of those scenarios only. I understand that I might get trolled for this, but an unbiased mind suggests that odds are highly against the bulls for making fresh investments.

But markets are good at giving surprises. What should be our stance if price kept on rising? Let's understand that through charts. The concept is still the same. Divergent 200 ma and price move results in 200 ma test atleast once which gives good investment opportunities.

2. Zig-Zag bear market- There are two types of fall in a bear market, the first one is vertical fall which usually ends with ending diagonals (falling wedges) and the second one is zig zag one which usually ends with parabolic down moves.
