Mark my words. The day Muslims of UP get their act together to form own political strength & representation, it will change the course of Indian politics. It will not just affect the North Indian politics but the entire country. It’s directly connected to future of Indian Muslims

Muslims of UP account for almost 19% population. SP & BSP rule the Muslims were the trump card needed to form the Govt but they were part of the ruling party. It would’ve been better Instead of that had had UP Muslims won those seats from own party & did a coalition with SP, BSP

When SP & BSP formed Govt in UP with support of Muslim voters. They just kept the local Muslim leaders happy. Some got cabinet post. Others made millions & it did benefit like Jauhar Uni etc but it was always short term fragile gain, Subject to the ruling Govt. As Yogi changed it

SP & BSP used Muslims to get power but never took any concrete measures to empower Muslims. SP promised reservations but never implemented it. Did not hire large number of Muslims in police or PAC. Gave frivolous perks holiday on Shab-e-barat & allowed to wear caps in school

When SP leader Azam Khan spoke of Muslims in Indian Army fighting in Kargil. He was considered as a local UP leader talking not a national Muslim leader. There’s a huge diff between one working under SP & under a national party of Muslims. Hence no point in regional Muslim leader

Then there was Zabardasti ka Muslim leader called Shahi Imam who had zero relevance or influence among UP Muslims yet he jumped into the UP politics & SP leaders like Mulayam Singh humored him for Muslim votes. Shahi Imam got Petrol Pumps but common Muslims got nothing concrete

The old school pan chewing UP Muslim leaders who wore Sherwani and entertained Yadavs & Mishra’s in Iftar Party & Mushaira gained a lot in personal capacity. They want to maintain their privilege & privilege & New educated Aimim leadership led by lawyer & journalist as a threat

Then theres big sectarian lobby based in Lucknow that have rubbed shoulder with old rulers of UP & are in good terms with the BJP. They had high influence in politics & media disproportionate to their numbers due to past privileges & see Aimim as Sunni led threat to own dominance

UP & Lucknow is hub of the redundant Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb. It’s basically made of influential profane left wing, atheist & mixed marriage products that have no understanding nor affiliation to the 90% UP Muslims who are practicing Muslims but remain voiceless. See Aimim as threat

Check background of those from UP & Delhi opposing & abusing Aimim in the most vicious manner & you’ll see a pattern. All come from the class I mentioned in this thread They are not going easily give up as many still get favors from old masters. And will do everything to hold on

Having said what I said in this threat. I should add there is a new young breed of Muslims under 40 has emerged in UP & india that are educated & not iftar party fans. Student leaders & activist who came out during CAA. Aimim can give a voice to such & other voiceless UP Muslims

Moreover keep in mind UP was & is the most communal & polarized state in India. It has a history of communal violence that goes back 300 years. It had the most number of communal riots. Ganga Jamuni is a non existence farce. UP Muslims should have a long term plan to fight on own
