@kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor As you say it is unclear but there is little to no legal precedent other than two instances in recorded history the Supreme Court because of how the Constitution is laid out properly and it is written pretty strongly i don't believe at all they will rule anything.

@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor As a constitution spreads out as interpretive only incumbents a tool that was used literally so America's impeachment law would not be used against private citizens. It is highly unlikely with little to no chance that the Supreme Court will give congressional power that way.
@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor More likely they will refuse to hear the case.
@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor And you have the conservative majority so
@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor As a betting man I would say odds are like I said Above This impeachment is Dead on Arrival the Democrats know this that's why they're going to try to delay even sending the Articles to the Senate not back until the 19th.
Trump will go free and be entitled to all of his benefits.
@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor The only thing that could change this is Mike Pence invokes the 25th amendment but that doesn't do anything because he does not have support among the cabinet
@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor If you think the Department of Agriculture secretary Sonny Perdue is going to vote in a unanimous vote then you're out of your mind related to David Perdue senator from Georgia LOL it's hopeless even with a 25th Amendment it will just split the country more
@NickNYIslesMets @kiki_cliff @Peaceforus21 @NYCMayor An even McConnell hates him they're not going to have the votes they need most likely to impeach him in the Senate anyways with the very little time they have they have to hold a trial Trump attorneys Alan dershowitz can just stall until 12:01 the next day.

1/ Here’s a list of conversational frameworks I’ve picked up that have been helpful.

Please add your own.

2/ The Magic Question: "What would need to be true for you

3/ On evaluating where someone’s head is at regarding a topic they are being wishy-washy about or delaying.

“Gun to the head—what would you decide now?”

“Fast forward 6 months after your sabbatical--how would you decide: what criteria is most important to you?”

4/ Other Q’s re: decisions:

“Putting aside a list of pros/cons, what’s the *one* reason you’re doing this?” “Why is that the most important reason?”

“What’s end-game here?”

“What does success look like in a world where you pick that path?”

5/ When listening, after empathizing, and wanting to help them make their own decisions without imposing your world view:

“What would the best version of yourself do”?
