The very idea that Trump “deserved” this because he did not mask all the time & go into isolation is just a lie.

One of my “essential employees” did everything they were told. Masking at work, hand washing etc. They still caught COVID after 6 mo of working non-stop /1

 Think of all the essential employees that can say the same. They operate under strict rules when dealing with the public & the virus still gets through. That is just a fact.

In putting out these qualifiers Democrats & the media are basically saying that if you /2
or a loved one gets sick it’s YOUR fault. Meanwhile, we have seen @SpeakerPelosi & @SenFeinstein eschew mask protocols & heard leaders in PA call them “political theater”.

If the Speaker or the Senator had caught COVID after their maskless escapades, would the meme be /3
they “deserved it”? Somehow I doubt it. In the same vein, if they are caught on camera behaving this way, it is not a single incident. They are no more careful than the President.

We all know that it is close contact for at least 15 minutes with an infected person that /4
is the most likely disease transmission route. That is per the CDC. Not being on a stage appropriately socially distanced, or at a debate that is also distanced or in the distanced Rose Garden. /5
We also know per NYT reporting that up to 90% of tests are detecting viral RNA incapable of causing an infection or being transmitted.

The CDC says a symptomatic individual can shed detectable non-infectious viral particles for 90 days. /6
We also know some significant portion of the population has reactive T cells that confer a good defense against COVID.

Taking these items together, people who will never get sick, never transmit the disease and may have come in contact with it weeks ago & never /7
had a symptom will test positive because of harmless RNA fragments left from their body’s own immune response.

And TADAAAAA! Super spreader event. Allegedly. There is no way 11 members of the WHPC got COVID from the events I’ve been watching & I seriously wonder /8
How many have any symptoms at all. The only way we would know for certain how individuals end up with RNA in their nose, is to do genetic testing on the virus like was done in Iceland. We of course won’t.

So how/where people were exposed to the virus is mostly /9
speculation. This could ALL be fixed if the FDA would make the PCR cycle threshold standard. South Korea uses 32, Germany uses a similar number. Our labs use 37-40 which will pick up far lower concentrations of viral RNA. /10
Not live virus. Viral RNA. The PCR test does not now & has never been an indication of a viral infection in the absence of symptoms.

Clearly, much lauded South Korea has figured out the appropriate measure. One really needs to ask why we are not following their lead. /11

We’ve been getting calls and outreach from Queens residents all day about this.

The community’s response? Outrage.


Amazon is a billion-dollar company. The idea that it will receive hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks at a time when our subway is crumbling and our communities need MORE investment, not less, is extremely concerning to residents here.

When we talk about bringing jobs to the community, we need to dig deep:
- Has the company promised to hire in the existing community?
- What’s the quality of jobs + how many are promised? Are these jobs low-wage or high wage? Are there benefits? Can people collectively bargain?

Displacement is not community development. Investing in luxury condos is not the same thing as investing in people and families.

Shuffling working class people out of a community does not improve their quality of life.

We need to focus on good healthcare, living wages, affordable rent. Corporations that offer none of those things should be met w/ skepticism.

It’s possible to establish economic partnerships w/ real opportunities for working families, instead of a race-to-the-bottom competition.

1. For people mad at Dems. Can we try to understand how politics (not justice) works? Here are some things: the Dems simply wanted the phone call information to be added to the record. They threatened to call witnesses as a negotiation tactic - thus getting the Republicans to

2. do what the Dems originally wanted - enter the phone call on the record. If witnesses were called - the trial would have gone on for weeks - in the middle of a pandemic when relief HAS to be sent out now. And Merrick Garland has to be confirmed so the DOJ can get to work.

3. However, I WANT WITNESSES CALLED. I want them to have such explosive testimony that the whole world once again knows what it knows - that Trump is guilty. I want more Republican Senators to change their mind and vote to convict. The problem is? We would NEVER GET 17 to do so.

4. It fucking SUCKS. It SUCKS that the Democrats can't just call witnesses and make the Republican Senators appear to the world even more cowardly than they were - hearing that testimony and STILL voting to acquit. BUT that's the fantasy version where the media doesn't once again

One fascist to watch in 2021 is Joseph Charles "Oakman" Golinske of SE MI. He's been a Proud Boy for a couple years, but took a break recently from the group and promotes himself through the "Oak Nation" channel on Telegram.


Most people may be familiar with him as the tall guy in the Proud Boys bridge shot, from their August 17, 2019 attack on Portland, which featured an American Guard bus trying (and failing) to bludgeon antifascists with hammers.


He was also with his g/f at the time (Dominique Tota, left of Tarrio), and that's definitely a twitter account folks will want to block/report because he posts on it.


He's been plenty active at the pro-Covid/anti-mask/ReOpen protests in Lansing MI, seen here with Jerry Wayne and an effigy of Gretchen Whitmer, who his militia friends tried to kidnap and publicly execute.

One of the most moving and relevant stories of the Battle of the Bulge, or any American Soldier in any war, is that of Master Sergeant Roddie Edmonds, a Knoxville, Tennessee native, who served with the 106th Infantry.

Roddie was captured early on in the Battle of the Bulge, on December 19th, when Panzer forces plowed through his unit.

He, along with almost his entire regiment, was forced to surrender.

The men were transported to the Stalag IX-A POW camp in Ziegenhain, Germany.

Roddie was the senior enlisted American Soldier at the site. As such, he was the conduit between all American Soldiers and their German captors.

In late January, the camp’s commandant, Major Siegmann [pictured here], ordered Roddie, a Christian, to identify all Jewish Soldiers and order them to stand in formation by themselves the next day.
