This is just a very brief testimony.of how I lost something valuable yesterday and later found it this morning.

Woke up to the news that my wallet was missing... missing ke? How, where? My biggest concerns

Sometimes, when God blesses one, it is difficult to describe the blessing or the feeling.🤔

Mary was in that state. She did not know how to describe the blessing God just bestowed on her, hence, she called it *God News* instead of *Good News* .

This was the Lord talking about Abraham & Sarah.

*This is very profound.* 👇🏼
God's blessing, provokes multiplication.

We see the same sequence in👇🏼

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, *He blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude

20] *And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that* *remained twelve baskets full* .

Just 5 loaves and 2 fishes were presented to Jesus to feed over 5k people. He blessed the bread & fish and the rest they say is history.

***Conflict Of The Chosen***
There is always a conflict when God singles you out

#the conflict in Mary's life

The challenge of being chosen is a calling to a life of conflicts.

when you are chosen, you are chosen to do His will.

(Luke 1:29 & 30) “But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying (conflict begins!), and considered what manner of greeting this was.”30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.”

•to be chosen creates conflicts.

“Conflict” means a clash of two or more things. ,in this context, clash of two natures.

Mary was not the only virgin of her day.

God could have called any of the virgins of her days, but God chose Mary.

She did not ask to be chosen.

She had to face shame,

misunderstanding, and confrontation with Joseph.

Before this: She was happily engaged.

She was looking forward to her marriage. She was anticipating a normal life.

But now she faced the challenge of conflict because she was chosen – she was troubled!

God brought the conflict by chosing her.
Mary could not keep her old lifestyle and her former friendships.
-Her former friends won’t understand.
-No matter what she says ,it will make no sense

How would she face Joseph?

She must have cried, “Lord, you cant do this to me”

A blessed morning to you.

This is a clarion call to help curb or infact eradicate the sale of strong alcoholic drinks at the Asero Stadium / Trailer park

It's been over a year some of us last

went to that Asero Stadium for some Prayer Walk. We stopped because of the recklessness of the trailer drivers within the stadium. This is further exercebated by the daily consumption of Alcoholic drinks as early as 7am at different shops within the premises.

Was there again this morning for a personal Prayer Walk, hoping things would have been better after a year's absence, alas, there are even more shops selling sachet alcoholic drinks. I had to discretely take a shot of one of the shops.

I once had a drunk trailer driver

blabbing under the influence of these strong drinks, that when he is high on "DOUBLE SIM", (Indian hemp soaked in ogogoro overnight ), human being look like cockroaches, hence they don't feel anything crushing them.

It has become a menace. I do not know if there is a law

banning the sale of strong drinks at garages, if there is none, I would like to crave your Indulgence in making it happen sir.

I used to lead a group of 30-40 people every 2nd Saturday of the month on a Prayer Walk within the same premises where the Stadium is, but, had to stop

You are more than what "men" can see or would ever see..

This is a SHORT EXHORTATION

Let me start with this Mantra from Guinness Nigeria Ltd.

They have this brand of stout, and at the end of the advert, I usually hear these words..."You are made for more..."

Yes, we are all indeed made for more, but, sadly, many never attain unto what God has called them to be, either through spiritual laziness, ignorance, nonchalance etc.

Many have allowed their background keep their "backs" perpetually on the ground. In the beginning,

it was not meant to be so.

You see, You are more than what "men" can see or would ever see. You are even more than what you see. There is always more.

While Pastoring at the RCCG many years ago, I heard these words by the General Overseer, Pst. E.A. Adeboye, over a zillion

times.. "I have not even scratched the surface..".

Each time he reached what we all considered to be a major milestone, he would be quick to tell us, "I have not even started".

I recall the inconceivable idea of gathering over
6m people at lekki '98 Holy Ghost service.

It was crazy at the beginning and many were full of unbelief at the time, but, the rest, they say is history. CNN even confirmed we were over 6m that gathered at lekki.
Fast forward to when the RCCG built the largest camp ground auditorium in the world, measuring 3km by 3km,

A LONG EXHORTATION

THEME - What if...

Woke up this morning with a puzzling question in my spirit. Dint pay much attention to it, but, as I got out of bed to begin my morning & daily drill of 60mins-90mins of Thanksgiving, that question again interrupted my thoughts 💬.

The question was just packaged in two words....WHAT IF?

Before I could process the thoughts, a barrage of other questions began to roll in, and then, I knew I had to UP my game in my daily Thanksgiving drill.

You see, I do this Thanksgiving "drill" every morning before I

progress to praying in the spirit and then in my understanding and with relevant bible passages. (Thanksgiving is key to my relationship with God, because, I Know this for sure...THE UNGRATEFUL CARRIES A MARK OF RESENTMENT)

NOW;

What if you woke up this morning and you began to "knock" on the gates of heaven, and as you did, an angel appeared and told you, "hey, sorry bro/sis, God is still resting. He had a busy day yesterday, and cannot attend to anyone until 4pm...")

What if you knocked on heaven's gate and was denied access because, the accuser of the brethren just used his reggae to spoil your blues the previous night

What if you needed to pour out libations before seeing God?

WHY SHOOT OUR WOUNDED? - Ps. 109:21-31

A Detroit newspaper reportd that a patient in a local hospital was shot and killed as he lay in his bed recovering from a previous gunshot wound. The victim had been listed in fair condition prior to the shooting and was looking forward to

going home. Hospital patients and employees were stunned. A spokesperson said that nothing like this had happened in the 50yrs of the hospital's existence.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could say the same for our churches?

Wouldn't it be encouraging if we were able to say

that in 50yrs of meeting together for worship, fellowship and spiritual healing, we had not had a single instance of a wounded member being cut down by the unkindness of a fellow Christian?

Many among us have experienced the pain that David expressed in Psalm 109.

When he was hurt and vulnerable, insensitive people took advantage of him. Certainly, if he had sinned, he needed their loving correction. what he didn't need was their scorn, gossip, and selfish neglect. Who shoots his foot after stubbing his toe? No one in his right mind,

neither should anyone with the mind of Christ act unmercifully toward a wounded brother or sister in the body of Christ. Rather, we must "show mercy" (v.16).

Give me, Lord, a lot of mercy
For my fellow men each day,
Mercy in their many failures
As they struggle on their way.

#Lamentations Chapter 5 sums up everything happening in NIGERIA. From banditry-kidnapping-herdsmen-landgrabbers-bad governance-Ineptitude etc.

Powerfully described in the scriptures, but, there is a solution at the end

"Remember, God, all we've been through. Study our plight, the black mark we've made in history. (THE NEEDLESS PLIGHT OF NIGERIANS BROUGHT ABOUT BY BAD GOVERNANCE IS UNPRECEDENTED)

Lamentations 5:2 Our precious land has been given to outsiders, our homes to strangers. (FOREIGN HERDSMEN FREELY & FORCEFULLY GIVEN OUR LAND

Lamentations 5:3 Orphans we are, not a father in sight, and our mothers no better than widows. (THE NARRATIVES OF SOME NIGERIANS WHO HAVE BEEN AT THE MERCY OF BANDITS, TERRORISTS & HERDSMEN)

Lamentations 5:4 We have to pay to drink our own water. Even our firewood comes at a price (IS THERE ANYONE NOT PAYING MORE FOR BASIC NEEDS, EVEN, INSPITE OF HEAVY TAXATIONS & CHARGES.)

"Lord, thanks for showing up, but where were You when we needed You most?"

A "sensible" and justifiable question we sometimes ask

Well, this time Lord, you were not around.

You dint "show up" as promised

Mary, one of Lazarus' sisters, knew too well from following Jesus, that He could heal the sick, the possessed, the blind etc, so, when her brother fell ill, there was no other person to call on, but, Jesus, their very dear friend. she then, quickly

sent words to Jesus before things got out of hand, before things became irredeemable.

John 11:3 MSG
 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, "Master, the one you love so very much is sick."

She was fully persuaded He would leave every other thing He was doing and come running,

afterall, Jesus was a close family friend, and besides, that's what friends do.  She recalled how they had sheltered Him, fed Him etc. " I know, He will be here soon," she said boldly and openly.

She sat all day by the window from sunrise to sunset, confident He would show up.

Day 1, no appearance of Jesus. Dint He get the message, or did they not tell Him what critical condition Lazarus was? 

Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, and by this time, hope had given way to hopelessness. She was, as it were, "mortally disappointed" how can Jesus do this to us, the ones
