2/ On January 5th, Stone appeared at the Supreme Court, glad-handing and being driven in a go-kart. Later he attended a rally near the White House.
As the @nytimes team shows, his security entourage featured a host of #OathKeepers...
3/ In the morning of the 6th, Stone stood outside the Willard InterContinental hotel, again flanked by men associated with the #OathKeepers.
Some of them, like Rob Minuta, have been named in prior
NEW: Rob Minuta guarded Roger Stone Jan 6th...& was later seen at #Capitol siege..

Now we know he has a history of escorting Trump allies like Flynn & Alex Jones. Also seen in December w/indicted Proud Boy #Spazzo.

4/ Interesting detail: while scrutinizing the video of Roger Stone I spotted Rudy Giuliani exiting the same hotel.
Giuliani is accompanied by a man wearing the same outfit as Trump supporter John Eastman & other not-yet ID'd people.

5/ Now to the #Capitol: We see a several of Roger Stone's #OathKeeper guards amidst a larger group yelling at police. Video surfaced by the @CTExposers team.👇👇

Here's the footage of Roberto Minuta throwing a tantrum at the police, 1/6 at the east side of the Capitol (5:16 in the Youtube video link).

#BLM & Movement for Black Lives are promoting a 128 page bill that brings their radical protest demands into political reality.
The bill eliminates DoD ops, stops counter-terrorism programs, offers social services to illegal immigrants, &
Due to the exorbitant length of the bill (it's 128 pages) I have to explain the specifics of the BREATEHE act in sections. This article only includes the first section of the bill, which is pages 1-10.
You can find the full bill here: https://t.co/3WgchuFqXf
In the first 10 pages, the BREATHE Act moves to:
1. Repeal federal funding for local law enforcement.
The first two pages alone "abolishes" the D.E.A. and removes local law enforcement's ability to access federal funding for bulletproof vests.
2. Eliminate Department of Homeland Security (@DHSgov) programs, including ICE and Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) programs.
The specific programs that they move to abolish include:
ICE
Border Enforcement Security program
Countering Violent Extremism program
Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Program
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Denaturalization Program
2) this guy was just arrested.
3) We cannot have a repeat of the fascism from WW2. This is @Schwarzenegger’s speech was so powerful.
This speech will go down as one of the greatest speeches. @Schwarzenegger is right\u2014Jan 6th 2021 was our Kristallnacht. Austria \U0001f1e6\U0001f1f9 tried to resist Hilter takeover for years but succumbed because Hitler\u2019s lies went unchallenged. We must #impeach now. pic.twitter.com/gOChiGLuHK

4) My wife @andreafeigl1’s 🇦🇹 great grandfather secretly fought Hilter’s Nazi regime & smuggled many Jews to safety as an aircraft engineer. He was thrown into a concentration camp, and escaped.
She knows a few things about Nazi history—Jan 6th was downright fascist. Read 👇
Some saw clearly what MAGAism is - pure fascism - in 2016.

More see it 2day
Some saw this playbook b4: WW2
Americans r too unaware of history since it didn't happen on home soil
But we MUST heed these lessons, lest it b 2 late 4 democracy & consequences are unfathomable

5) So this cover is from a semi-tabloid magazine in Germany, according to @andreafeigl1. But even so, how did such a magazine still get it so damn right?! Maybe Germany 🇩🇪 has seen this kinda fascism before...
In light of yesterday's violent display of Christian nationalism at the Capitol, what should we watch for from the Christian Right in 2021?

And how can we effectively direct our advocacy and activism?
If you're asking those questions, read my latest:https://t.co/6eQqdMHBBX
My hometown is Alamogordo, New Mexico. It's a military town. Holloman Air Force base is nearby, and so is the Army's White Sands Missile Range. It's also a hotbed of White Evangelical Christian Nationalism. 2/
Currently, the most notorious Christian Nationalist from Alamogordo that I can think of is Couy Griffin (no relation to me). He's a former pastor, turned County Commissioner, and founder of the group "Cowboys for Trump." I've talked about him before.
*Heavy Sigh* This chucklehead, Couy Griffin is from the town I was born in and grew up in. I know folks in his family. This is my roots. This is the kind of nonsense I left. 1/ https://t.co/TQV9xtgMKT
— Daniel Griffin (@HC_Exvangelical) May 21, 2020
Couy Griffin and his Cowboys for Trump attended the the Coup Klux Klan in D.C. I'm not surprised. They went prepared for extremism. Here's a quick video of them outside the kitschy "Running Indian" trading post just outside Alamogordo. 4/
Notice what they say. "Give me liberty or give me death" and "We've god God on our side, and we've got the Truth on our side." Probably every Ex-evangelical I know has heard those words in church. 5/
Prosecutors alleged Barnett was carrying a stun gun. He's charged with entering a restricted area w/ a weapon, violent entry/disorderly conduct, and theft. There isn't anything on the docket indicating what the govt/Barnett will be seeking as far as detention v. release
We're still waiting for the Richard Barnett detention hearing to start in Arkansas. Meanwhile, follow @o_ema for updates on initial appearances in DC federal court today for a few of the Capitol insurrection arrestees -->
Listening in on more hearings: The 1st is Kevin Loftus, WI, arrested for participating in the riots at the Capitol, charged w Class A misdemeanor. Judge decreed he is released on the condition that he does not return to DC, doesn't drink or do drugs, and doesn't break any laws.

Richard Barnett's detention hearing is underway in Arkansas — Judge Erin Wiedemann will decide if Barnett should stay behind bars. The first witness is FBI special agent Jonathan Willett, who was involved in the Capitol riot investigation
FBI agent walks the judge through surveillance videos that the agent says show Barnett walking in and out of Nancy Pelosi's office, with a "walking stick Taser" on his hip, as well as the widely disseminated photos of Barnett sitting in Pelosi's chair with his feet up

- Forget what you don't have, make your strength bold
- Pick one work experience and explain what you did in detail w/ bullet points
- Write it towards the role you apply
- Give social proof
/thread
"But I got no work experience..."
Make a open source lib, make a small side project for yourself, do freelance work, ask friends to work with them, no friends? Find friends on Github, and Twitter.
Bonus points:
- Show you care about the company: I used the company's brand font and gradient for in the resume for my name and "Thank You" note.
- Don't list 15 things and libraries you worked with, pick the most related ones to the role you're applying.
-🙅♂️"copy cover letter"
"I got no firends, no work"
One practical way is to reach out to conferences and offer to make their website for free. But make sure to do it good. You'll get:
- a project for portfolio
- new friends
- work experience
- learnt new stuff
- new thing for Twitter bio
