🚩UNTOLD STORY OF PUNJAB AND INSIDE STORY OF FARMER AGITATION

1. Punjabi Farmers take away approx. 55% of Country's Budget on MSP Proc. Country's budget on Food Grain procurement is not UNLIMITED! The Govt can procure only as much as it needs for PDS & buffer stock.

So while only 6% of the country's total farming population lives in Punjab, it is encashing 55% of entire country's budget meant for grain proc.
Thus a disproportionate share of income from Taxes collected by Govt from all other States is eff spent on Punjab Farmers.

What about farmers of other states?

Why should GOI not purchase proportionately from 94% Farmers of other states?!

If some 'Annadata' / 'I'm with Farmer' wants to say that Govt should incr MSP procurement from other states also, then he is conning you!

GOI can proc only ltd qty as per budget for PDS. Govt simply doesnt have the money to procure ALL grain prod in India.

The 'Im with farmer'/ 'Annadata' types must also agitat e asking Govt. to hugely incr Taxes & GST in order to raise money for making UNLTD proc at MSP.

Since the agitators are against entry of Private Sector into Mandis. So all these Industry Associations of Punjab who very fashionably say I am with Farmer must offer to pay huge increase in Taxes also to fund these fashion statements.

Due to Punjabi Farmer addiction to Wheat & Paddy cycle, they are in glut. Lacs of Crores of TaxPayer money is wasted each yr due to over proc frm Punjab which is then rot or is eaten by rats. Punjabi farmer keeps growing because he knows GOI will be forced to proc at MSP.

By this excess prod Pb farmer not only encashes 55% of country's budget for procu ~ Rs 75K Cr but also burdens State Govt with Rs 10 K Cr of Elec Subsidy + Fertilizer Subsidy ~ Rs. 40K Cr. In process, drawing 90% of state's grnd water. This is what 'Annadata' is taking away!

Such huge cash bounty to Pb Farmer has made him the laziest farmer in entire country. Why doesnt shift to Fruits & Vegetable farming?
Because it requires Daily Hardwork on the farm, where as Wheat & Paddy require a one time effort of hired labourers at the time of sowing.

Thereafter a couple of visits for Pesticide/Urea shower and thats it.

Followed by Zila Parishad/ Mandi Committee politics sitting free for 3 months and your crop will be ready after 4 months for converting into hard CASH holding GOI to ransom of MSP!

Because you have taken away the State resources (elec subsidy of Rs. 10000 Cr), rest of States population & Industry have to pay Rs. 9-10 per Unit the most expensive in entire country. As a result, industry is unable to flourish or become Large Scale/Nationally competitive.

Because Punjabi Farmer is able to encash OFF 55% of the entire country's food procurement budget, the Land Prices in Punjab are the highest in the country.

This again makes setting up of new Industry UNVIABLE as land & infra costs are just too expensive.

Indian taxpayer money flows to Canadian Economy Via Punjab.
After encashing huge subsidies, the Punjabi Farmer encashes his (most expensive) land & moves the money to Canada. Every yr lacs of Punjabis take away ~ Rs 30K Crore Tax Free Income via Immigration to foreign shores.

Instead he could have used his pourusham to garber a Sanatani movement to fight against INC and Gandhian ideology.

We all agree that Birthday is a very special and auspicious day for all of us.

On the eve of Maattu Pongal, here are a few personal Cow Remembrances 1/n


I was all of 4 when we moved to Vadakara. School was still a year away. We lived in a House named 'Kottaram' (Palace), which had a long backyard. Beyond that was a small house where a Brahmin Family Resided. Mami had a cow. 2/n

Around 2.30 pm, she will call "Konthe" (Colloquial for Kuzhanthai or Child), and that was the sign for me to run across pulling up my half trouser.

A Half Wall separated the houses and I would climb up to watch the guy who milched their cow. 3/n

Once he milched, I will get my quota of a very small glass of raw milk. She never ever took the milk inside without giving me my share fondly. Once I drink it, I played with the calf and then ran back home 4/n


We moved back to Palakkad when I was 9. Grandfathers Agraharam house was 20 kms away and I was a frequent visitor

Thatha and Paatti maintained 3 Cows

Many are upset at the bus attacks & Red Fort events during #FarmersProtest.
But have you paused to think what has brought about this situation? While magnifying impulsive actions by some protesters, do you miss to see State's systematic violence and erosion of rule of law?


If you are a believer in Constitution and legitimate processes, then the manner in which the Centre pushed the #FarmLaws & handled the #FarmersProstests should leave you distressed.

First, Centre brings these laws as Ordinances on subjects which are apparently in state list, through a colorable use of concurrent list. Principle of federalism negated, at least in spirit, if not in letter.

Then, bills are passed in Parliament without effective discussions.

No one can say for sure if the bills were actually passed in vote in Rajya Sabha. The whole process was brazenly dubious. The live telecast was stopped amid protests. Really shameful events.

So, lawful processes to address dissent undermined.

Then some farm groups approach the Supreme Court raising some pertinent questions on constitutionality. Instead of considering legality, court ventures into political thicket by attempting mediation, that too with a hand-picked committee having only members supporting #FarmLaws .

This is a beautiful story of Guruvayurappan. Once there lived in Guruvayur a poor family. Kitta, his wife & kids were struggling for their daily needs. With only a coconut tree in house, he earned a living by selling coconuts.


Kitta was from a low caste family. He was a great devotee of Guruvayurappan. Everyday before going to work he always prayed infront of a picture of Guruvayurappan in his house. His only wish was to worship at Guruvayur & have annadanam in temple. But he was not allowed there


It was Utsavam time in Guruvayur. From far behind kitta and family worshipped Guruvayurappan. Annadanam was given daily and no one was left empty stomach. Only Kitta didn't receive. That night, it was only Kitta's family who was sleeping without food. After temple nada closed


Shri Krishna, dressed himself as a Brahmin went to temple Kitchen. He packed food and went directly to kitta's house. Reaching Kitta's house, Shri Krishna told he was sent by a cook of Guruvayur temple and gave them the food he packed. Kitta and family was very happy seeing food.


When Kitta finished his food, Brahmin asked it will be better if he get a tender coconut( karikku)to drink. Kitta climbed the tree and gave all coconuts to him. After having 1 tender coconut, the Brahmin asked to bring remaining coconuts to Guruvayur temple the next day.

2/ Jassa Singh was born in 1720/21 at a village called Ahlu in the Lahore District of Punjab.


3/ Jassa Singh was educated in Delhi, in Persian, Arabic & more, under the care & supervision of Mata Sundari Ji.

Mata Sundari Gurdwara in Delhi.


4/ In 1733, Jassa Singh's mama, Thag Singh (ਤਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ), requested Mata Sundari Ji's permission to take Jassa Singh back to Punjab.


5/ At first Mata Ji refused but eventually gave permission for Jassa Singh to go with his mama, giving Jassa Singh a blessing and weapons, informing him, it was now the right time to take up arms.
