On this day, Jat pride Veer Gokula Singh attained veergati fighting Aurangzeb Forces.

He was the landlord of Tilpat (Faridabad)

Gokula's father Madu Singh and his uncle Uday Singh was a rebellion who fought against Shahjahan in the support of Nandaram Jat. Shahjahan appoint many commanders against them.

1650, Madu Singh was mortally wounded fighting Mughal forces led by Raja Jai Singh (Jaipur).

Then Madu Singh was successed by his song Sindhuraj who also died in 1651 fighting Mughals. then Uncle Uday Singh took command of the family

And Nandaram's rebellion also ended by 1660 and after that Aurangzeb appoint Abul Nabi (Ghazi) as Fauzdar of Mathura and Agra.

1660, Abul Nabi's prime duty is to demolish temples and lay the foundation of mosque on the site of destroyed temples as he was a Ghazi.

In 1966 he target the famous krishna temple Keshav Rai and another one is Giriraj temple

After 1660 almost all revolutionary activities were stopped in Koil but some rebels were active in Agra, sarkar.

The pargana (Sadabad) become the core centre of revolt and the whole command was taken by Gokula Jat.

The revolt took extreme after 1666 under Gokula.

Gokula Singh used to destroy Mughal thanas and establish his own and same Abul Nabi used to raid Jat villages

They are successfully saving Keshav rai and Giriraj temple.

By now the rebel Brajraj (sinsini) and and Sukhpal singh (sonkh) joined the revolt.

Abul Nabi made his booth in Sadabad to monitor Gokula Jat.

Gokula Jat invited several rebels to Garhi for Discussing Anti-Mughal policies, Abul nabi came to know about the whole plan and suddenly moved to Siroha with his force.

The jats under leadership of Gokula Jat came out of Garhi for an Open battle with Abul Nabi.

Initially Mughals taking the lead being being better equipped but situation reverted when Gokula slayed Abul Nabi, mughal soldiers were made prisoners.

The death of Abul Nabi result in fallen of Mughals in large part of Agra

The Jats then attacked and turn important Mughal cantonment of Sadabad into ashes and thr revolt become challenge to Aurangzeb existence

Aurangzeb appoint Randandaz khan as new fauzadar and was again defeated by Gokula Jat.

After him, Hassan Ali was made fauzdar and he too was defeated by jat rebels then Aurangzeb himself start campaign against Gokula.

Aurangzeb ordered a huge army under the command of Hasan Ali and Jehar khan with inherent order to crush the stubborn Jats.

Aurangzeb himself rode in the 'Hodaha' with elephant and heavy artillery.

This battle looked heavy large casualty on both the sides and bloodshed

The artillery fire scattered the Jat but the dispersed Jat continued to raid Pargans around Tilpat and Jat women committed johar

And finally the Gokula Jat and his uncle Uday singh was captured and imprisoned

Gokula Jat was offered pardon if he accept islam. to tease Aurangzeb, Gokula demanded his daughter in return.

1 jan 1670, Gokula and Uday singh with his 7000 supporters were hacked to death in pieces at Kotwali.

This was all "Battle of Tilpat" (5 months, 20000 Jats)

After Gokula, Aurangzeb in frustration ordered this army to destroy Keshav rai temple and building of I'd gah masjid on the same sight (mathura-kashi baaki hai).

Aurangzeb forces attacked sinsini and sonkh.

Nandaram Jat who ended his revolt in 1660 again become a rebel
