Found in the collection of risaa’il and fataawaa of Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) found in the Maktabah ath-Thaahirriyah,

It says in Surah Jinn verse 18
“And the masaajid are for Allaah (Alone), so do not call upon anyone along with Allaah.”

There were plenty of scholar before MIAW who were against istighatha, it is another lie of Ahlul bidah that he was the first to be against it and consider it to be kufur.
