i really prefer nonviolence---and i don't want anyone to be in danger for caring about what is going on.

 i immediately reported the tweet for violence and threat of harm---but i think @TwitterSafety and @twittersupport think it is a free speech issue
this came after hours and hours of rage tweeting from frosty at mariah. i want everyone to be safe.
besides these implicit threats of violence from frosty after rage-tweeting about mariah----
i don't think @realfrostylady is taking account how her targeting mariah macaronio could put her in real danger and risk of physical harm---there needs to be an apology from frosty as well

@RabbiArielSton1 can you help me. i was concerned about the safety and well being of a person, who was alleged to have right leaning tendencies. in my concern, i reached out. his patterns escalated, and now i am constantly bullied with swastika imagery from antifa.

i have been a long term campaigner against nazi-ism in portland---and young antifa, refuse to research my work. due to my interest in de-radicalising someone, i am bullied by people like @realfrostylady who seek to punish me with brutal swastika imagery.

every time, careless antifa, blast my account with this horrifying image of swastikas, i feel persecuted, and they do not respect the way that it traumatic to me, to do this work, and have no respect. i have tried to educate on holocaust. worked at museum, read huge amounts.

my Jewish ancestry is less provable than many, and i have sincerely believed i have little bits of Jewish due to stories, and names. but does it matter? if i feel in my heart, connected to that pain, why must they brutally inflict more trauma on me. my loved ones from israel...

my loved ones from israel, are separated from me, and it was perhaps an original hate crime against me, that antifa seek to abuse me with further. perhaps it was to punish my many jewish friends, or past lovers. can you ask them to stop. the people involved with torturing me

i don't think its reasonable to bully people, endanger them, violate their privacy, ridicule them, etc, as they process the death of their friends. if you knew the circumstances---which i tried to keep private---you would know why i feel injured by econbrkfst's harassment of me.

#SupremeCourt is hearing a Public Interest Litigation seeking directions by Top Court, to provide food and healthcare facilities to children and lactating mothers, because the entire Anganwadi system has shut due to the lockdown.

On November 28, the Top Court had directed the Centre & States to file affidavits with regard to implementation of guidelines issued on operation of Anganwadi in the context of COVID-19.

Senior Advocate Colin Gonsalves says he has prepared a chart wrt to the laxity of the Union with regard to the Aanganwadi system.

The Central Govt's survey on what states had done points to the fact that states had not reopened anganwadi systems in light of the notification of the Govt dated November 11, says Gonsalves.

#BombayHighCourt is hearing the default bail application filed by Gautam Navlakha, accused in the #BhimaKoregaon case.

Bench of Justices SS Shinde and MS Karnik are hearing the plea.


Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal submits that this is a simple matter of bail to be decided on facts.

He claims that Navlakha was in custody for more than 90 days. He was under house arrest for some time before being taken into judicial custody.

Sibal submitted that Navlakha had surrendered on April 14 and spent 93 days in custody. He spent 34 days in custody before remand order of Magistrate.

Sibal points out that the nature of custody may have changed but it was arrest nonetheless and for this reason, he should be granted bail.

Additional Solicitor General SV Raju appearing for the NIA begins his submission.

He points out that the police had only arrested him and had not taken custody.

Texas - WTF is this even - a very short reassurance thread:

1: The Texas "lawusit" against four other "battleground" states in the United States Supreme Court is legally stupid.* It is so legally stupid that I was reluctant to believe that even Ken Paxton would file it.

*My patience level is not ginormous today. Please don't try to explain to me why you think it isn't stupid for whatever other reasons because I'll be making liberal use of the airlock. Thx.

2: Yes, one state can sue another at the US Supreme Court. However, the Supreme Court gets to decide whether to take the case. One factor that they will **undoubtedly** look at is the factor of "injury."

Texas is claiming two things. First, that the states have a special interest in who becomes Vice President because of the tiebreaker. Second, that their electors are injured if their votes are "diluted" by electors from states that, in Texas's view, didn't obey their own law.


There is very little argument presented for "injury." Even less - barely a paragraph - was presented for how the defendant states caused that injury.

For lawyers, this is a signal that this is a performance of politics by "litigation" and not a serious effort.

SCOOP/BREAKING NEWS: The Energy Department and National Nuclear Security Administration, which maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, have evidence that hackers accessed their networks, officials directly familiar with the matter said.

Investigators found suspicious activity in networks belonging to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Sandia and Los Alamos national laboratories in New Mexico and Washington, the Office of Secure Transportation and the Richland Field Office of the DOE.

DOE and NNSA officials have begun coordinating notifications about the breach to their congressional oversight bodies. Officials at DOE still don’t know whether the attackers were able to access anything, the people said—and may not know "for weeks"

Shivaji’s growing influence in Maval region, made him a threat to the Adil Shahi ruler of Bijapur who sought to restrain him. The man who was given the responsibility of this mission, was their commander, Afzal Khan. Afzal was a formidable warrior known for his ruthlessness.(1)

His strategy was to bring Shivaji out into the plains, where he held an advantage, compared to the rocky Deccan terrain. Afzal attacked the holy town of Pandharpur, and later demolished the temple of Bhavani at Tuljapur to instigate Shivaji in a bid to bring him out.(2)

Shivaji was angry but remained patient. Knowing that he could not defeat Bijapuri Sultanate in an open battle, Shivaji moved to Pratapgarh fort, located on rocky heights, surrounded by thick forests of Jawali.(3)

This set the pattern for future Maratha attacks, using guerrilla warfare against larger invading armies rendering them ineffective in unfavorable terrain.(4)
