Pitru Paksha 🙏 ( Days of Ancestors)

The Full moon time of Bhadrapada & the Pratipada of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin Month from Amavasya is called Pitru Paksha.

#Thread

This Time is dedicated to offering Prayers & blessings for the departed ancestors.
On Shradh we remember our Ancestors by doing Tarpan & offer foods.
Pitru Paksha gives us an opportunity to continue honouring that love &to be grateful for all we have received from our ancestors.
It is the Dharma, the duty of those who are living to offer their prayers & blessings & the fruits of their Spiritual practices for the benefit of those who have passed on.
In this way we continue to honor them,we invoke their blessings & support them on their journey onwards.
This Strengthens our 12th house which represents our Ancestors. This is why Vedic Tradition understands that the Path to liberation begins from the Peace & liberation of ancestors.
When a Person is at peace with his Prabhu & ancestors, his harvest good or bad according to the....
past karmas stored in 12th house.
What r the main Reason for Pitra Dosh
1)Most of the Times our Ancestors r not at Peace because of the wrong way of their last rites & Shraadh after death.
2) Putting hurdles or insulating any religious work also leads to Pitra Dosh.
3)Due to some evil deeds, some Pitars don't go to Pitrulok. Due to their Karma they enter the Ghost species. To relieve them from that species the Shardh rites are performed.
We have taken all the things that we have today for granted. But without the generations that came...
before us, firstly we would not exist here, secondly without their contribution we would not have all the things that we have today.
So these r the days when we express our gratitude to all of them.

May all receive the blessing of their ancestors during this Shradh Paksha.

Viruses and other pathogens are often studied as stand-alone entities, despite that, in nature, they mostly live in multispecies associations called biofilms—both externally and within the host.

Microorganisms in biofilms are enclosed by an extracellular matrix that confers protection and improves survival. Previous studies have shown that viruses can secondarily colonize preexisting biofilms, and viral biofilms have also been described.

...we raise the perspective that CoVs can persistently infect bats due to their association with biofilm structures. This phenomenon potentially provides an optimal environment for nonpathogenic & well-adapted viruses to interact with the host, as well as for viral recombination.

Biofilms can also enhance virion viability in extracellular environments, such as on fomites and in aquatic sediments, allowing viral persistence and dissemination.

1/“What would need to be true for you to….X”

Why is this the most powerful question you can ask when attempting to reach an agreement with another human being or organization?

A thread, co-written by @deanmbrody:

2/ First, “X” could be lots of things. Examples: What would need to be true for you to

- “Feel it's in our best interest for me to be CMO"
- “Feel that we’re in a good place as a company”
- “Feel that we’re on the same page”
- “Feel that we both got what we wanted from this deal

3/ Normally, we aren’t that direct. Example from startup/VC land:

Founders leave VC meetings thinking that every VC will invest, but they rarely do.

Worse over, the founders don’t know what they need to do in order to be fundable.

4/ So why should you ask the magic Q?

To get clarity.

You want to know where you stand, and what it takes to get what you want in a way that also gets them what they want.

It also holds them (mentally) accountable once the thing they need becomes true.

5/ Staying in the context of soliciting investors, the question is “what would need to be true for you to want to invest (or partner with us on this journey, etc)?”

Multiple responses to this question are likely to deliver a positive result.
A THREAD ON @SarangSood

Decoded his way of analysis/logics for everyone to easily understand.

Have covered:
1. Analysis of volatility, how to foresee/signs.
2. Workbook
3. When to sell options
4. Diff category of days
5. How movement of option prices tell us what will happen

1. Keeps following volatility super closely.

Makes 7-8 different strategies to give him a sense of what's going on.

Whichever gives highest profit he trades in.

2. Theta falls when market moves.
Falls where market is headed towards not on our original position.

3. If you're an options seller then sell only when volatility is dropping, there is a high probability of you making the right trade and getting profit as a result

He believes in a market operator, if market mover sells volatility Sarang Sir joins him.

4. Theta decay vs Fall in vega

Sell when Vega is falling rather than for theta decay. You won't be trapped and higher probability of making profit.
