The 4 main components of a time series are:

▪️Level: the average value in the series if it were a straight line.
▪️Trend: the linear increasing or decreasing behavior of the series over time.

▪️Seasonality: the repeating patterns or cycles of behavior over time.
▪️Noise: the random variation in the series that cannot be explained by the model.

A time series can be decomposed into its components using the following 2 methods:

▪️Additive decomposition: Level + Trend + Seasonality + Noise

▪️Multiplicative decomposition: Level * Trend * Seasonality * Noise

Correlation is the degree and direction in which two variables are related or associated. Therefore, correlation coefficients are used to measure the strength of the relationship between two variables.

Let me tell you about them and their usefulness in #DataAnalytics 🧵

A correlation can be positive, meaning that the 2 variables move in the same direction, or negative, meaning that they move in opposite directions. When the correlation is neutral (close to 0) it means that the 2 variables are unrelated.

Two of the most important correlation coefficients are:
▪️ Pearson
▪️ Spearman

and what is the difference between them?

Pearson's correlation coefficient is a statistical measure of the strength of the linear relationship between two numerical variables.

It is a very useful coefficient , but it is also very sensitive to outliers.

Spearman correlation coefficient is a statistical measure of the strength of a monotonic relationship between two variables.

Spearman correlation is less sensitive than the Pearson correlation to outliers.

Time series: types and their nature

▪️Stochastic: the property of being well described by a random probability distribution.

▪️Deterministic: system in which no randomness is involved in the development of future states.

Therefore, stochastic time series can only be forecasted in a probabilistic sense.

Whereas a deterministic model will always produce the same result from a given starting condition or initial state.

One of the most common tasks performed in NLP is the identification of parts of speech (POS).

Therefore, it is useful to know the definition of the basic classes of POS:
1⃣ Noun
2⃣ Pronoun
3⃣ Verb

2⃣ Pronoun (PRON): is a word used in place of a noun.

3⃣ Verb (VERB): expresses action or being.

4⃣ Adjective (ADJ): modifies or describes a noun or pronoun.

Processing images digitally with Python is not only a fun task, but it's also very easy to do.

In the following thread🧵, let me explain how you can do it from scratch using simple operations on a matrix.

First of all, as a context, PNG (Portable Network Graphics) images can naturally be represented by a 2D matrix of pixels.

At the same time, the pixels are made up of 3 RGB components, representing the colors Red, Green Blue.

Therefore, after converting a PNG image into a matrix, 2 operations that can be performed very easily are:

▪️Flip vertically: invert the order of the columns of the matrix

▪️Rotate 90 degrees: invert the rows by columns, traversing the matrix inversely

In addition, the illumination of the image can be modified:

▪️Apply brightness: add a constant value to all pixels of the image (e.g. alpha 0.1)

▪️Apply contrast: subtract a constant value to all pixels of the image

You can also calculate the negative of the image. To do this, subtract 1 from each color (maximum value for each component) and save the absolute value of this subtraction.

Sell weekly ATM CE & PE at almost equal price
For ex : Sell Nifty 17250 CE at 50 and Nifty 17250 PE at 48 so it will become short straddle

Buy monthly ATM or near ATM CE & PE at matching price (5-10 points diff should be fine) as hedge
For ex : Buy Nifty 17250 CE at 150 and Nifty 17300 PE at 155 so it will become long straddle.

Weekly Short straddle + Monthly Long straddle

Adjustment:

• If you feel slightly bullish/bearish then no adjustment needed
• If Nifty moves 50 up or down and sustain then just simply roll up or down half of qnty and keep rest of the quantity. If market goes up or down further then roll up or down rest.

• If Nifty moves one side or about to breach BEP then add equal amount of lot. This can balance tested side. For ex: If I bought 17300 CE 4 lot as hedge then add 4 lot so you will have only one side risk . Note: Remember to keep SL at cost price (only for additional lot bought)

Capital requirement:
2.2 L for 4 lot
Adjustment requires additional capital upto 1L

Note : High risk high reward strategy, please don’t execute until you fully understand. Kindly do paper trading or backtest.

Mahadeva and Maha Vishnu in the same Srikovil is very rare Prathishta, but poojas are done separately Dhara is done to Maha Vishnu here. People suffering from “KAIVISHAM” and mental illness are fully cured on drinking a medicinal herb supplied by a nearby family here.

The root of the banyan tree around the Ayyappa Sannidhanam is said to have great powers for skin ailments.

Very ancient temple but was covered with forest for many years.

Vigrahams and it suddenly started bleeding. Later Devaprashnam was held and thus found out that these were murthy's of Shiva and Vishnu which was worshipped long back. And thus temple is constructed here.

IMPORTANCE OF SATYA NARAYAN KATHA AND ITS ORIGIN.

We all have heard and read the Satyanarayan katha. But none of us dont know the original stories that Shatanand or Sadhu or Kalavati must have heard. Also, as a habit we hear or read this katha

but dont know the proper way it should be conducted.

We find its mention in Skanda puraan(Reva khand) and Bhavishya Puraan(Pratisarg parva).
Both Bhagwatam and Gita call Bhagwan Narayan as Satv or Truth. So Satyanarayan denotes this name as the one which is Truth incarnate.

The story began in Naimisharanya when Vyasji asked Sutji about a way to eliminate all the sorrows and fulfill all the desires and about who is the devta who can grant these at the same time.

So Suutji first prayed to Bhagwan Satyanarayan who is no one else but Vishnu ji.

Then he remembered all his avatars.After that he narrated the story of Narad. Once while visiting Mrityulok, Naradji was pained to see the sufferings of People around. He was deeply moved by these sufferings and wanted to know the means by which we could rid ourselves from these.

So he went to Vishnu ji and after paying his respects stood in front of him. Naradji narrated the purpose of his visit.

So Bhagwan Vishnu said to him that in Satyug and Tretayug, Bhagwan eliminates sorrow in Vishnuswarup. In Dwapar he assumes different forms to help people.

After Firoz Shah's demise in1388, Delhi Sultanate was in a state of political turmoil.During this time, Timur sent his grandson Pir Mohammad to attack Indian front. He invaded Multan&was able to defeat Iqbal Khan's brother but when he met with resistance,he asked help from Timur.

Iqbal Khan secured his hold on Delhi under Muhammad Tughluq after Firoz Shah died.
Timur provided the required back-up to his grandson with 100000 men approx. Timur sacked and plundered all the cities coming in his way &later in October 1398 reunited with his grandson.

1/ So here is a thread on how I turned $32,000 into $1.2m and back to pretty much zero (once taxes are paid).

Just note, I am not bitter or salty in any way at all, the last 2 years have been an amazing ride - travelled the world, been wealthy, been poor.

2/ Dec '16, my advertising agency folded, I had a little bit of money left and I put $32k into Bitcoin and Ether. As it started to go up I diversified into everything, Monero, Dash, this that, any crap - even Ripplecoin. Everything just kept going up.

3/ By March I think I had around $300k and $500k by the summer. I used to take 25% out but towards the end of the summer I got greedy and put it all back in and by December it was $1.2m.
