A thread. 1/x

2/ Violent white supremacists are coming (back) to town. Last week, 3 Black women were attacked by Trumpers.
“This time there’ll be way more cops though!”
Well, last week there were cops too. **All 3 women were arrested while the attackers were
3/ Black people have known forever that law enforcement forces attract white supremacists.
And DC streets are now absolutely crawling with them. There are over 20,000 troops here.
It’s traumatic.

4/ The insurrectionists will not only be armed with guns, they will be maskless and doing shit like this:

5/ DC organizers like @DMVBlackLives @ShutDown_DC and mutual aid groups like @ServeYourCityDC are working around the clock to:
-drive unhoused people to safer areas
-distribute PPE
-demand that @airbnb + hotels #DontHostHate
-prep and supply medics
-and so, so much more

I'm sure you're loyal to your boss, but this man incited violence and you helped him. There is no "following orders" defense that will save you. You are part of this now.
And it is so much more serious than him simply "raising concerns."
🧵
Sadly, much of the media and many members of the Washington establishment want to deceive Americans into thinking those who raised concerns incited violence, simply by voicing the concern. That\u2019s false. And the allegation itself is corrosive and dangerous. https://t.co/drhsK54MzQ pic.twitter.com/rEk9G5DOo5

Prior to November 3rd, Joshua had nothing to say about Pennsylvania's vote by mail legislation.
2/

In fact, Joshua didn't have squat to say about election integrity either.
3/

By November 4th, when it was apparent that Trump would likely lose the election, Joshua--as a sitting US Senator--started tweeting out that Michigan was hiding secrets from the public.
Sowing doubt. Fanning the flames.
4/

So Joshua started this fake call for election integrity--a call he'd never made before.
At first he threw the whole kitchen sink out there--BigTech, ballot harvesting, poll watchers, counting, etc.
Sowing doubt. Fanning the flames.

This is good news
The securing of British jobs
Is good news
Though to secure them
It admits two things
1. They were under threat
2. Something was done to address that
This is a great vote of confidence in the UK and fantastic news for the brilliant @Nissan workforce in Sunderland and electric vehicle manufacturing in this country.https://t.co/W6nN1ki3Lq

(Thread ...)

This started in 2017 with a Twitter thread about the interesting case of John Rivello, who was indicted for assault with "a deadly weapon, to-wit: a Tweet", where the tweet contained an allegedly seizure-inducing GIF and was sent to a known epileptic, @kurteichenwald.

Someone replied to the thread with a sarcastic dig at an FBI agent involved in the case (Nathan Hopp), and then someone else replied to that with a smiley-face emoji.

Nathan Hopp is the least busy FBI agent of all time.

Because that last, single-emoji reply was by someone the FBI was investigating (in a matter completely unrelated to Rivello), the feds reacted by demanding Twitter hand over all its information on everyone in the thread (for the suspicious act of being replied to by randos).

Twitter, through @PerkinsCoieLLP partner John K. Roche, admirably fought this subpoena on behalf of its users, three times: before a USMJ, then a USDJ, then the MJ again. The result was this sealed 35-page opinion (now

Bickert was lawyer involved in issues now central to facebook antitrust complaints. She also gave false evidence to Parliament one month before globe found out about Cambridge Analytica. And she's now giving advice on Trump account. Political winds. /2
This was after Bickert gave lawyer answers to the first two questions which defy any belief she is being forthright.

Kaplan's role is well-documented. WSJ, NYT and Wash Post all had significant reports how he oversized influence inside of Facebook. He also played point in the 2016 post-election scrutiny of Facebook with his deep conservative ties. Political winds. /3

Clegg was hired in once the heat got too much in the UK and globally. If you speak to anyone familiar with his work as a MP, you'll entirely understand why Facebook hired him. Political winds. /4
Sandberg is a long story. But she has been intersection of everything using deny, deflect, delay tactics and her deep DC ties to avoid having to answer tough questions where FB traded toxic effects on globe to make more $ / power. Political Winds. /5
