until the year 1938 that Western scientists finally figured out the mechanism of Solar energy generation.

According to the Vayu Purāņa (2.38.141-142), udaka (and its Sanskrit synonyms vāri, vṛṣți, ambhas, arṇava and apa) is the fuel that the Sun

tasmādudakam sūryyasya tapato'ti hi kathyate

nāvṛṣṭyā tapate sūryo nāvṛṣṭyā pariviṣyate

nāvṛṣṭya paricinvanti vāriņā dīpyate raviḥ

tasmādapaḥ piban ya vai dipyate ravirambare

It is said that hydrogen (udaka) is the source of the Sun's heat. When there is a

lack of hydrogen (vṛṣṭi), the Sun will neither be hot, nor able to shine, nor able to cause evaporation of water. Sun shines in the sky because of consuming hydrogen (apaḥ) (Vāyu Purāņa 2.38.141-142).

These verses are also found in the Visņu, Brahmaṇḍa, Kurma and other

urāņas. The Sanskrit word udaka, and its synonyms, are generally translated as water, but we interpret them as hydrogen in this context because:

The father of experimental fluid dynamics research in India, one of the eminent researchers in the field of turbulence, was born on September 25, 1920 in Srinagar, and graduated from Lahore University with a rather unusual combination-BA (Maths), BE(Mech) and ME( Engg Litt).

When India became independent in 1947, Satish Dhawan, let for US to do his higher studies where he graduated in MS(Aerospace Engineering) from University of Minnesota and a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal-Tech and a double PhD in maths and aerospace engineering.

It was during his time, that the department emerged as center of experimental fluid dynamic research in India. In fact it was a pilot project conducted by him that resulted in setting up the world class wind tunnels for aerodynamic testing at the National Aerospace Lab( NAL).

HINDUTVA, the oldest religion of the world, has given a valuable Hymn to the world in the form of GAYATRI MANTRA. This is the only mantra, where every single word is packed with power. The Gayatri mantra originated from the Rig Veda, the ancient Hindu scripture.

A great sage, Vishwamitra, son of King Gida, was given the Gayatri mantra by the Supreme Being himself, as a reward for his deep penance and meditation. This, ultimately, has become a most precious gift to the entire human being.

It has been now, scientifically also, proved that the enchanting of Gayatri Mantra produces 110,000 sound waves per second.

This strength as has been tested by one American Scientist Dr. Howardes Stein grill, who collected various mantras, chanting and invocations of different religions, from all over the world, and tested their strength in his Physiology lab.

HIGHLY IGNORED OUR MANDIR HERITAGE NEAR NASHIK

On the very busy Nashik - Tryambakeshwar route, Anjaneri is one of the forts nearby Nasik. The fort is well known among trekkers and is also widely considered to be the birthplace of Hanuman.

On the foothills of the fort, are many Hindu and Jain monuments, including cave temples. The area around Anjaneri was once ruled for a brief period by Veersen Ahir (also spelled Abhir), who made it his capital.

This place was used by Raghunathrao Peshva alias Raghobadada as summer retreat when he was in exile. During British Raj, the christian missionaries of Saharanpur and Malegaon regularly visited Anjaneri during summer and held the service of the Church of England.

A large number of temples were built here independently of one another, unusual for temples of such a small size. They are not clustered around a central shrine in the manner that most small Indian temples are, instead each stands alone and is dedicated to a different deity.

It is said that according to the instructions of Narada Muni, Indrasena Maharaja observed Ekadashi Vratham & gave Moksha to his father, who thus reached Vaikunta Lokam. Whoever takes this vrat are relieved from all sins & this holds similar importance as Ashwamedha Yajna.

Recalling India’s biggest räpë and śêx exploitation scandal.

In the nineties, one of the most horrific cases of gang râpê in the country came to light from Ajmer. The scandal involved hundreds of young girls, some college students while others were still in schools.

The news of the scandal broke after a local paper 'Navjyoti' published some objectionable photographs and a report which claimed that school students were being blackmailed by local gangs. The whole country was deeply shocked when the revelations were made.

The scandal started with Farooq Chishti, belonging to the Khadims of Ajmer Shairf Dargah, befriending a girl from Ajmer's Sophia Girls School and luring her into the trap. After taking inappropriate photographs he started blackmailing her.

But she wasn't the first or the only victim of this notorious cycle. The gang continued to expand its operations and victimise an increasing number of girls.
