As @laurnorman reports & Iranian officials attest, Iran has notified the IAEA of its intention to start an assembly line at Esfahan to produce uranium metal as part of advanced fuel for the Tehran Research Reactor (TRR).

It’s worth exploring Iran’s experience with u-metal, a key material that can also be used to produce nuclear weapon cores. We know that Tehran has quite a bit of experience thanks to the Nuclear Archive documents, seized by Israel in 2018. 2/

The Nuclear Archive contained info about Iran’s plans to build a pilot uranium metal production facility, called Shahid Mahallati. There, Iran would become adept at u-metal and nuke weapon component fabrication:

In 2002, Iran was also building a production-scale uranium metal & nuclear weapon components facility, Shahid Boroujerdi, in an underground tunnel complex at Parchin, the military site famous for Iran's early nuclear weapon-related high explosive work: https://t.co/0ffAKmQEAV 4/

In late-2003, under increasing international pressure, Iran halted its crash nuclear weapons program, the Amad Plan, and stopped construction on Shahid Boroujerdi & likely halted work at Shahid Mahallati. Current statuses are unknown because the IAEA has never visited. 5/
Long-thread: A Sunday morning well-spent exploring Lahore’s Orange-line Light-rail metro train with @gulraizkhan.

One thing I can tell about the experience is that it was in nowhere any less than the best Metros in the developed West.

This project will remain divisive, and in no way I intend on converting anyone. Skip.

Neither will its utility increase nor decrease by this Twitter cost-benefits blabbering.

What I am truly happy about is that Orangeline is owned and being used by those who need it the most.

The cars we use have a Heater & AC. The new ones also have a cabin filter against pollution. They harm everyone outside but user is safe inside. Then cars also cause congestion and accidents.

We don’t realise it while driving, but navigating spaces is important for everyone.

We know that cars, which serve less than 20% of all trips, are bad for our cities. Yet they have been getting disproportionately higher share in budgets in the form of allocations for Road in Transport spending.

A mass transit project flips this equation.

There is also very real loss that construction works of the project caused, which, we, as bystanders, cannot fully understand.

We need to move to inclusive infrastructural planning, rather cold-hearted bureaucratic logic which dictates that who
around 2:30pm today. Basically the same time or a whisker before the Commonwealth CMO fronted the microphone. After VIC and SA (and earlier, QLD and WA) made their announcements. He misleads at best, conflating Northern Beaches restrictions with the rest of Sydney. Also tROoPs.

wow now Palasczuzk is up. Btw Morrison took a few seconds of his 3-minute piece to camera, posted to the gram, to say that “everybody is doing their job” lol a deadset giveaway.

the QLD Premier is also putting restrictions in place on greater Sydney. Now is not the time to visit the Sunshine State thanks Sydneysiders, she says. Not dissimilar to VIC, she says.

Dr Young (Queensland CHO) says greater Sydney is a declared hot spot, which includes the extended south coast to central coast areas, from 1am tomorrow. Queenslanders returning home will have to quarantine.

Qld CHO says tougher border restrictions necessary because so many other restrictions around Qld have been lifted. Few exemptions will be granted, she predicts. Anyone who has come to Qld from greater Sydney asked to test and notify Qld health authorities.

This is some audacious spin. What actually happened: Pompeo endorsed the results of a rigged election in DRC after a private security company working for a Congolese autocrat back channelled with Giuliani and other Trump allies. Our investigation: https://t.co/WjO7hPmfZv

In negotiations, the US maintained it wouldn't allow then-DRC president Joseph Kabila to run for a third term. So the private security company, Mer, helped Kabila craft a new plan to control his country: a secret power-sharing deal with another candidate.
https://t.co/WjO7hPmfZv

The deal might've stayed secret—except somebody leaked the real vote count, showing Kabila's candidate, Tshisekedi, lost in a landslide to Martin Fayulu, who vowed to end corrupt mining deals. @FinancialTimes did great work confirming the data was legit:

With the real results public, the US was left with the question of whether to endorse the official result or denounce it, as the African Union and the European Union did. US officials in charge of DRC foreign policy debated. Here's how it played out:

US has a long history of undermining democracy in Congo. CIA backed the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, DRC's 1st prime minister. US presidents supported Mobutu's 34-yr dictatorship. Kabila won US support the way other modern-day autocrats have: with the facade of democracy.
Ever since Orban came to power in Hungary, everything has turned for the worse for the Hungarians. Hungary has had one of the biggest declines in freedoms since Orban took office, according to ‘Freedom House’ 2020 report, they’ve lost -21 in freedom points in the last decade.

Here’s some interesting information about how life is in Hungary which Orban fanboys never talk about, they like to just focus on his ‘anti-immigration’ stance. Also, OECD gave Hungary a 5.6 which is less than the average which is 6.5..
https://t.co/mDm49qvKxg

While the the average Hungarian are being increasingly impoverished, meanwhile the jew Orban makes sure the jews in Hungary has it good by putting the ”holohoax survivor” stamp on them.

And if that wasn’t enough, Orban set aside $5.6 million for social welfare services for holohoax survivors of Hungarian origin living outside of Hungary

He’s giving away all that money for fake holohoax victims when it’s obvious the Hungarian people are in desperate need of those money as the a lot of the living conditions in Hungary needs to improve. So much for being a 'Hungarian' nationalist right?
