🚨Thread: What is the Trump Card?
1. This my personal opinion based on my military experience, analysis of indicators, open source information & common sense. I’m not talking about the card in my wallet.
Let’s get into it.

Will Trump play the #PenceCard December 23 (today)?
Thread: Absolutely not. The assertion that he will hurts our credibility and the cause because people who trust some accounts pushing it will be demoralized when it doesn’t happen. Let me explain:

2/ For this thread again, we will assume the Electoral Count Act of 1887 is Constitutional and binding. It very well may not be, but it doesn’t appear we have any court that will ever say so.

3/ The ECA is found in 3 USC 1-21. In secs 12 & 13, it requires that on the 4th Wed of Dec (that’s today) the President of the Senate (that’s Pence) to notify the states if he/she (or the Archivist) has not received a “certificate of vote and list” mentioned in sections 9 & 11.

4/ Sections 9 & 10 are merely administrative. Sec9 says that electors from the state make & sign six certificates of the votes w/ a lists for Pres & VP & attach a list of electors. Sec10 requires the electors to seal up the certificates & certify that the list of votes are inside

5/ The Pence Card is the idea that today, the VP can review & decide that the dem electors sent by AZ/NV/GA/PA/MI/WI don't meet the reqs of the ECA and/or the Const so, in effect, the VP hasn't received proper electors from the states & has a duty to notify them of that fact.

Thread 4: Donald Trump Did Not Invent Trumpism

It was Fox. Fox created a Maga Nation (without that name) and promised their maga god Messiah would come some day. In 2015 when Trump came down that escallator, FOX proclaimed Trump as their dude

Fox News was born after Reagan ended the Fairness Doctrine in TV news broadcasts.

Fox was set up from the start to be a PROPAGANDA channel. To give PARTIAL and BIASED news. Not the full picture. They brainwashed 1/3 of American electorate over 3 decades

Long before Trump decided to run, Fox had been building a voter base for an ultra-conservative (and racist) candidate. Who would 'defend America in a war against Christmas' and who would 'build a wall' to keep brown people away etc. A cult of white men who feared a changing world

Trump was FLIRTING with this, what we know recognize as the Maga cult (#Cult45). He started his courtship with the Birtherism lies about Obama being born in Kenya - & Trump the fake Billionaire supposedly sent investigators to search Obama's birth certificate - remember all that?

The racist and RELIGIOUS nutters of the Maga cult were not naturally drawn to Trump. Many hated and feared Trump or despised him. But Trump was 'taught the lyrics' of how to speak to the Maga cult. The person who taught Trump to speak Maga was Stephen Miller from late 2015

That being the case, we decided to highlight some of the women associated with this explicitly misogynistic

It is worth noting that while the "Proud Boys" do not officially allow women into the group that this does not mean that women are not playing an active roll in promoting and recruiting for the group

Last month, the @HouseDemocrats impeached Donald John #Trump. When they did so, they adopted a resolution proclaiming that their impeachment was done in the name of the #HouseofRepresentatives and in the name of, and for, the United States of America.

That formula, explaining that the House impeached someone and did so in the name of the House and in the name of the United States, is common. Yet the assertion is troubling.

Half or more of the country disapproves of the House’s impeachment, and of the Senate’s trial.

But politicians will still claim they are doing it for us.

They aren’t.

And it is particularly urgent that we repudiate the idea that the House’s 2021 #impeachment of #DonaldTrump was in our name.

Why?

Because the @HouseDemocrats and their #HouseManagers have crossed a clearly drawn line that risks the impression that we, the People of the United States, approve of the #prosecutors in a #courtofimpeachment using #falsified #evidence to #inflame #passions and to convict.

Can there be a clearer component of the constitutional right to #DueProcessofLaw than that a conviction obtained on the strength of falsified evidence is no conviction at all. Falsifying evidence is a a crime.
