Let’s say you start with 1k and your win rate is 70%. You take 30% profit and 30% loss fixed. End of 100 trades you net around 45k excluding fees.

If your win rate is 60% you end up with 2k.

What’s the lesson? Be selective and keep your win rate high. You’ll win

Stop over trading

Stop chasing or FOMO

Stop buying weeklies on Thu

Don’t wait for 30% profit target. If it’s not working, sell for 10%

Stop trading strikes with wide spread

Which setups will work for this strategy?

Find setups with higher ATR and identify a trend 30 min after market open, ride the trend

Find setups with higher relative volume first 30 mins and ride trend

Find setups right at 10m 34-50 EMA and ride trend

A process is just a set of rituals you complete consistently every single day to achieve a certain outcome (profit).

A process requires an edge which is simply a statistical advantage you have over other players. A strong psychological state can be considered a bonus edge.

I believe that trading can be split into three elements:

1) Knowledge and idea generation
2) Method and trade execution
3) Risk management and mindset

Each element is necessary and it builds a solid foundation in your trading process.

These factors make up the trading trinity.

MY SCANNING PROCESS:

In PM, I look for:
- Top gainers (40%+)
- Notable volume on gappers
- News or catalysts (to justify gap)
- Float (<50M)
- Market cap (<500M)
- Range (check daily)
- Price (<25)
- Stock personality (check daily)
- Filings (cash on hand and offering potential)

Due Diligence Thread 🚨👇

In this thread I will be revealing to you guys my step by step process on how I do my due diligence on any ticker along with the process of how I find good setups and what resources and websites do I use to do it.

Step 1: Finding Good Chart Setups (continued)

My favorite bullish chart setups that I personally look out for initiating swing positions:
1-) Falling Wedge Pattern
2-) Ascending Triangle Pattern
3-) Fish Hook / Oversold Bounce Pattern
4-) Channel Up Pattern
5-) Descending Triangle Breakout Pattern ( Towards Upside)

Step 2: Checking for Offerings

Once I have found a good chart, with a high risk reward ratio, the immediate first thing that I
do is to look out for any signs of upcoming offering. Since I don’t want to get caught in
offerings , these are the two things that I lookout for.

1-) Firstly, I look for whether the company had made any recent offerings in the last two months, if yes then there are less chances of new offerings.

Okay look - I didn’t grow up with comic books. But I read stacks of science fiction digests and I kit-bashed model cars into fantasy rods, and just tried to maintain a low profile until I could get out of the house. So you could say I’m a distant cousin of the comic book fan. /1

And sometimes one’s childhood passion follows them into adulthood, sometimes not, sometimes as an adult one finds a passion they never had as a child and embraces it. For me, that must include getting involved with a puppet show at the age of thirty. /2

So who’s to say whose passion’s legitimate and whose is bogus? Nobody. Someone might indict your passion but they have no ground to stand on and should be dismissed out of hand. /3

Maybe they’re envious that you have a passion, maybe they think that their passion is cooler than yours, or maybe they’re just insecure, who knows. Doesn’t matter. /4

What matters is that if something gives you joy, and in the process doesn’t hurt others, then by all means follow it. It’s how we explore our secret hopes, our shadow sides, our inner character. /5

Another belief is that once Shiva beheaded Brahma and his skull got stuck in Shiva’s hand. He was cursed that till the skull is not full of food or grains, it will remain stuck to his hands.


Shiva went everywhere and asked for food but the skull was never full. He finally came here and Maa Annapoorna filled the skull with grains and reversed Shiva’s curse.

It is believed that who ever visits Devi Annapoorna here will never be without food in their lives.

🏦Third Space: Office and Working from Home will be joined by somewhere close by that a number of people will use

Supermarkets or local bank branches should emerge as a convenient ubiquitous location option – if they are smart

⏰Asynchronous Work: Offices are instantaneous gratification distraction factories where synchronous work makes it impossible to get stuff done

Tools that enable asynchronous work are the most important thing globally remote teams need. A lot of startups will try to tackle this

⚽️Hobbie Renaissance: Remote working will lead to a rise in people participating in hobbies and activities which link them to people in their local community

This will lead to deeper, more meaningful relationships which overcome societal issues of loneliness and issolation

🚜Rural Living: World-class people will move to smaller cities, have a lower cost of living & higher quality of life

These regions must innovate quickly to attract that wealth. Better schools, faster internet connections are a must
