RAMA SETU in Valmiki Ramayana

Nala constructed a magnificent bridge of 100 Yojanas over the Ocean

The sea God said, Sri Rama th8
This Glorious Son of

Vishwakarma Nala by named has
been granted by his father a boon of proficiency in all craft & is full of love for you.Let Nala who is full of zeal build a bridge over me
Nala said Acquiring the skill
of my father,I shall build a bridge over the extensive deep sea.I m Vishwakarma's Son sprung from his own lions & am like him in workmanship. Let the bulls among Vanaras collect the material for the bridge this very day.I m undoubtedly capable of constructing a bridge over sea
3.Directed by Shri Rama the leaders of Vanaras with full joy sprang into the extensive forest on every side. They filled the sea with Sal,Aswakarna,Dhava,BambooKutajaArjuna,BilvaPalmyra,Tinisa Saptaparna,Mango & Ashoka tree.

4.They bring different shrubs & rock as big as elephant
hurled them into sea. Some Vanaras drew up strings in order to keep the rock in a straight line.

5.Nala constructed the extensive bridge, a Hundred Yohanas long in the heart of the sea. The aforesaid bridge was being built at that time in co-operation of Vanaras
6. Some seized hold of staff for measuring the length & breadth of the bridge.

7. The very first day 14 Yojanas were
set up
second day--20 Yojanas
The 3rd day-- 21 Yojanas
Forth day- 22 Yojanas
Fifth day-- 23 Yojanas were cover right upto the Mount Suvela.
In this way Nala the foremost Vanara ,the glorious offering of Vishwakarma along with the Vanara Sena set up a bridge across the sea.
This lovely glorious bridge looked charming like the milky way in space.

The Devata & Ganfharvas gazed on the bridge constructed by Nala which
was Ten Yojanas wide and hundred Yojanas long which was exceedingly difficult to construct for others.

The Rama Setu length & breadth ratio is 10:1 even today.
There are many tectonic & geological changes have been taken place from the time of Ramayana till dates.

More from Religion

Assalam Alaiki dear Sister in Islam. I hope this meets you well. Hope you are keeping safe in this pandemic. May Allah preserve you and your beloved family. I would like to address the misconception and misinterpretation in your thread. Please peruse the THREAD below.

1. First off, a disclaimer. Should you feel hurt by my words in the course of the thread, then forgive me. It’s from me and not from Islam. And I probably have to improve on my delivery. And I may not quote you verbatim, but the intended meaning would be there. Thank You!

2. Standing on Imam Shafii’s quote: “And I never debated anyone but that I did not mind whether Allah clarified the truth on my tongue or his tongue” or “I never once debated anyone hoping to win the debate; rather I always wished that the truth would come from his side.”

3. Okay, into the meat (my love for meat is showing. Lol) of the thread. Even though you didn’t mention the verse that permitted polygamy, everyone knows the verse you were talking about (Q4:3).

4. Your reasons for the revelation of the verse are strange. The first time I came across such. I had to quickly consult the books on the exegeses or tafsir of the Quran written by renowned specialists!

The chorus of this song uses the shlokas taken from Sundarkand of Ramayana.

It is a series of Sanskrit shlokas recited by Jambavant to Hanuman to remind Him of his true potential.

The brave persevering one, your bravery is taking you forward.

The one who is leaping higher and higher, who is firm and stable and seriously determined.

He is strong, and without an equal in the ability/mentality to fight

His anger will cause new fears in his foes.

This is a complex expression seen only in Indic language poetry. The poet is stating that Shivudu is experiencing the intensity of climbing a tough peak, and likening

it to the feeling in a hard battle, when you see your enemy defeated, and blood flowing like a rivulet. This is classical Veera rasa.

His rough body itself is like a sharp weapon (because he is determined to win). Hail this complete

hero of the world.

The hero is destructive in the air/sky as well (because he can leap at an enemy from a great height). He can defeat the enemy (simply) with his fearsome roar of war.
