One of the important reasons for the abolishment of Khilafah was the adoption of thoughts which are not based on Islamic ideology. This weakness had been creeping in since a few decades after the end of the golden era of Khilafat e rashidoon.
When Khilafah annexed intellectually developed nations like Persia, Romans and Indians through successful implemention of Khilafah's foreign policy of dawah and jihad, they get accustomed with their philosophies. Some Muslims got so impressed with a few of their concepts-
-that they decided to align them with Islam.
So Persian concept of hereditary monarchy, Greek inspired concept of mu'tazila and Hindu concept of body and spirit were practically adopted. As a result, the belief in Islamic thoughts had weakened, and the prophetic method of-
understanding the reality and applying ijtehaad erased from the minds. This progressively dragged Ummah into intellectual decline and worsened the situation. It got to the point that French penal code was adopted in the last years of the Khilafah.
As a result, the obligation to extract solution of each and every human problem from Quran and Sunnah was forgotten. The modernists who presented themselves as scholars added fuel to the fire. They got so much impressed from material growth of the West that they started-
justifying their concepts like democracy, freedoms, feminism, evolution and realism from Islam, and declared Islamic concepts like offensive jihad, Khilafah and Islamic penal code as outdated and impractical for today's reality.
So the Ummah lost it's faith in it's ideology and Islamic sources of jurisprudence and fell prey to mental slavery. The colonialists took full advantage of intellectually fragile state of the Ummah and stripped it's shield (Khilafah) off.
Allah SWT says in the glorious Quran: "Indeed the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam"
So any thought or concept that is not extracted from the sources (Quran and Sunnah) is False, and is the source of destruction for the Ummah. Now, when the current colonialist-
democratic system based on kufr is exposed in the eyes of the Ummah, it is of utmost importance to realize that the only way to revive is by only adopting the thoughts and concepts extracted from the sources of Islam. Only this way the Ummah can earn the right to lead the world.

Before I begin, it might be worth explaining the Malay conception of the spirit world. At its deepest level, Malay religious belief is animist. All living beings and even certain objects are said to have a soul. Natural phenomena are either controlled by or personified as spirits

Although these beings had to be respected, not all of them were powerful enough to be considered gods. Offerings would be made to the spirits that had greater influence on human life. Spells and incantations would invoke their

Two known examples of such elemental spirits that had god-like status are Raja Angin (king of the wind) and Mambang Tali Arus (spirit of river currents). There were undoubtedly many more which have been lost to time

Contact with ancient India brought the influence of Hinduism and Buddhism to SEA. What we now call Hinduism similarly developed in India out of native animism and the more formal Vedic tradition. This can be seen in the multitude of sacred animals and location-specific Hindu gods
