Another day of strong early voting in Georgia, with another 154k voters turning out in person yesterday. That's similar to but slightly behind the fourth day of early voting in the general, which was at 164k

Cumulatively, we're still running ahead of the general election on in-person early voting, but I don't think anyone expects that to last--and there's a very long time left for that flip to happen

As I've said, the big takeaway is that the turnout looks like it will be healthy and high, and it's not obvious who it will help v. the general. As I've mentioned, there are crosscutting patterns at play that make it difficult to sort out where we'll end up. Let's look at a few

One is that there are fewer absentee votes--and those are heavily Democratic.
This is expected: far fewer realistic opportunities for voters to request a ballot for this special than the general. And some counties may be behind

Now, of course, if in-person and election day voting drop just as much (or more), then this isn't actually an issue for Democrats at all. That would have been a very reasonable assumption before early voting. Now I'm not totally sure! We'll have to wait and see

Coordinate With Other Conservatives
It's simple: we're stronger when we work together and easier to beat when divided. So, focus on finding ways to work with other conservatives on sharing information, picking which battles to fight, which targets to emphasize, and then ..

People are mad because I refused to give Biden credit for his empty platitudes. I don't care. Obama got elected and got away with everything because he was eloquent and said things that sounded good even though he did the opposite.

I'm tired of the weight given to superficiality

You cannot possibly promote the idea that America is a fundamentally racist country while ignoring the violence and destruction that is happening as a result of that falsehood as well as the extreme radicalism taking over your own party and also believe "we need to come together"

These things are diametrically opposed. It is like beating your wife and everyone knows you beat your wife and then you come out and start talking about how we need to do something about domestic violence. The sentiment is correct. But you, yourself, are a hypocritical liar.

Paying lip service to something that needs to happen while actively working against it happening is why I am not applauding him. He is acting like a snake. Trying to say "the right things" so we don't see what he's actually doing.

So be mad if you want. I award him no points.

Just for clarity, as some people still don’t get why people unfriend them over what they see as politics.

It is completely possible to reconcile political differences over tax policy or how many dog catchers to have. If you can’t be civil over policy issues, then the problem is internal, not external.

That said, most of the current GOP positions are really judgements on things that have a moral, not political landscape and most of them (gay rights, BLM, immigration, etc) all involve judging the validity of someone else

(is your marriage valid? Are you equally protected? Are you ‘legal’?).

These are moral judgements that aren’t the same class as policy differences. People aren’t really listening to the calls for civility coming from the same mouths that deny their validity as people.

Many Trump supporters like him because he deregulates or lowers taxes or some other reasonable policy choice, not his polemics on social issues. I get that.

Y’ALL I GET EMOTIONS ARE HUGH BUT TRY TO STEP BACK AND THINK LOGICALLY:

1. BIDEN VOTERS HAVE BEEN TOLD TRUMP WOULD ATTEMPT A COUP FOR YEARS. IF IT DIDN’T SEEM LIKE TRUMP CONCEDED THERE WOULD BE MASS CHAOS BECAUSE 55M PEOPLE HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT.

The plot to kidnap (and potentially kill) the governor of Michigan isn’t just the feds rolling up a dumbass to pad their statistics. It’s one to note.
