***Conflict Of The Chosen***
There is always a conflict when God singles you out

The challenge of being chosen is a calling to a life of conflicts.

when you are chosen, you are chosen to do His will.

(Luke 1:29 & 30) “But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying (conflict begins!), and considered what manner of greeting this was.”30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.”

•to be chosen creates conflicts.

“Conflict” means a clash of two or more things. ,in this context, clash of two natures.

Mary was not the only virgin of her day.

God could have called any of the virgins of her days, but God chose Mary.

She did not ask to be chosen.

She had to face shame,

Before this: She was happily engaged.

She was looking forward to her marriage. She was anticipating a normal life.

But now she faced the challenge of conflict because she was chosen – she was troubled!

What is right about going to your boyfriend's house to cook his meals.

When I hear guys invite women to their houses to help them cook, I get irked. Without gainsaying, I get pissed because I feel like it's a play down on my maturity as an adult that I can't cook d food I eat

While I was a bachelor & staying alone, I never had any girl come to my apartment to cook for me, and even when some offered to give their culinary services, I rejected it.

Though, that's personal.

But my aim of writing this RANT is to remind a lot of men reading this post that, it is not your girlfriend's job to cook for you!

A lady said to me sometime ago, that her boyfriend slapped her because she was a bit behind schedule to come cook for him.

Imagine the guts!

To slap a lady because she wasn't at your place on time to cook for you?

I keep wondering how women put up with all these rubbish in relationships. Honestly, if I were a woman, many men will avoid me. I will take nothing less than a sensible man.

I've always said that any man who cannot cook as a bachelor is probably or likely to fit into this category. Any man who cannot do home chores is not ready for marriage.

Many men marry because of their inability to cook, wash and do home chores.

You are more than what "men" can see or would ever see..

Yes, we are all indeed made for more, but, sadly, many never attain unto what God has called them to be, either through spiritual laziness, ignorance, nonchalance etc.

Many have allowed their background keep their "backs" perpetually on the ground. In the beginning,

You see, You are more than what "men" can see or would ever see. You are even more than what you see. There is always more.

While Pastoring at the RCCG many years ago, I heard these words by the General Overseer, Pst. E.A. Adeboye, over a zillion

times.. "I have not even scratched the surface..".

Each time he reached what we all considered to be a major milestone, he would be quick to tell us, "I have not even started".

I recall the inconceivable idea of gathering over

It was crazy at the beginning and many were full of unbelief at the time, but, the rest, they say is history. CNN even confirmed we were over 6m that gathered at lekki.

Well, we must understand that even in the will of God, unpleasant things do happen.

Even in the will of God, we can grow weary, tired, disappointed, discouraged,

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

4. A lot of stuffs wouldn't throw us under the bus and make us look helpless.

Now, when was the last time we had a daily, weekly or monthly review of where we are?

When was the last time we brought out out "Monitor Guage?"

Have you noticed or observed that, We monitor almost everything in life;
From the petrol in our car to that in our generators.

Anytime God is involved..

Of a truth, everytime d Almighty God steps in, d outcome is predictable. Here I am studying once again, d book of Exo 14....it must have been a time of fear & trepidation for d israelites. they were indeed stuck

There was obviously no way of escape. The predictable end of that situation was either death for the Israelites or a journey back into slavery. Unknown to anyone at that time, God was setting the stage up to display His awesomeness & power again. Pharaoh must have felt real good

The pressure was now in Moses to do something...only God knows what was going thru Moses' mind at that time, & while he was waiting in God, he heard God speaking again in

"don't wait in Me anymore, Move.. the deed is done."
Exodus 14:13 Moses spoke to the people: "Don't be afraid. Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation for you today. Take a good look at the Egyptians today for you're never going to see them again.
What reassuring words

As a business man or woman, You need people who have the ears of the great and mighty in our midst.

People who are strategically positioned to put in a word or two on your behalf

It's time to pray for such people to come into our lives and business.

ASHPENAZ represents men that are strategically positioned.

1. ASHPENAZ was a eunuch and a scout too
2. He had access to the corridors of power.
3. He had the king's ears.
4. His job was to identify talents, groom talents and then, open doors for them.

the eyes of Ashpenaz, you were almost 100% certain, you will find favour before the king.

Ashpenazs' are major players.

Gifts and callings aren't enough, you need an ASHPENAZ.

You need people who have the ears of d great & mighty in our midst.

I wouldn't blame them for this piece of advice to those who were troubling the Master. Afterall, it was obvious to all, the child was dead

2. They probably knew or heard He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, healed one or two crippled folks, and the best they probably heard of Jesus was that, when He showed up at Peter's workplace, He did what could be termed as an exceptional miracle. Well,

3. The knew Jesus to be a gentle and easy going and probably did not show any sign of someone that could raise the dead, someone in the semblance of Elijah who called down fire or Elisha who was a bit temperamental and performed some
