projects for energy reduction in line with Department of Fertilizers norms of energy consumption for urea.

1-Melamine - 3 plants
-new plant of 40,000 tonnes
- old two plants - high energy consumption so no operations
What is Melamine -Melamine is made to react with formaldehyde and then developed into resins or moulding powder
for making many products of beauty and utility.

Melamine has a varied range of applications in the industrial and consumer sector like:
•Laminates for table tops, kitchen shelves, platforms
•Consumer Moulded Goods – bowls, trays, crockery
•Industrial Moulded Goods – Circuit breakers, automotive ignition components
•Treatment Resin for Paper – for currencies, toilet paper, shopping and shipping bags
•Resin for Lacquer Paints – for motorcars, refrigerator cabinets, washing machines
•Adhesives
•Melamine Resin for Textile Auxiliaries
•Leather Chemicals
Recently Government extended anti dumping duty on Melamine - Indian Demand is around 80000 tonnes /yr and GSFC is sole producer
Production chain - Natural gas- Ammonia-urea - Melamine
2-Caprolactam -for sale purpose it is some 55,000 tonnes to 60,000 for sale
Caprolactam for Nylon Fix is around 20000 to 25000 Tonnes
So, production maybe around 50,000
tonnes to 85,000 tonnes.
What is Caprolactam-Caprolactam is the basic raw material for the manufacturing Nylon-6.
The exceptional bearing and wear properties of Nylon make it one of the most widely used plastics in the world.
Due to its versatile properties, Nylon-6 forms an ideal starting point for a very wide range of products:
•Carpeting, domestic textiles, furnishing fabrics
•Industrial textiles such as Tyre-cord fabric, bristles, cables and ropes
•Industrial plastics such as gearwheels, dowels, mouldings and products in the tool sector
•Clothing textiles such as tights, swimwear, protective clothing and dresses
•Moulding engineering components and other extrusion profiles
CBIC recently proposed antidumping duty on Caprolactam
The main raw materials are Benzene, Oleum, Ammonia( In house) Carbon Dioxide, Synthesis Gas (in house) Sulphur Dioxide, Caustic Soda and Sulphuric Acid( Inhouse)

Production Chain- Caprolactam- Nylon 6
3- Inermediate for Pharma industry-GSFC identified some 11 products which GSFC can make and go back to the pharma industries , all in development stages
4-Methanol-GSFC started operations at its methanol plant at Vadodara after six years of its shut down in 2020
-capacity of 525 tonnes per day, Methanol is majority imported with RCF and GNFC are other major producer in india .
The major application of Methanol is in manufacturing of Formaldehyde, which accounts for 60 % of Methanol consumption. It is used in many Industrial applications like Formaldehyde, API formulations, Methyl Amines, Dyes & Intermediates, Paints, Solvents, Adhesives, and Pesticide
Most of the feedstock for making Methanol, like Synthesis Gases, is available from GSFC's existing plants

DCW Ltd - CMP 28 rs ,some observations
1- CPVC - its only manufacturer of CPVC resin with capacity of 1000 MTPA( Meghmani and Grasim both are coming up with CPVC manufacturing capacity in next 2 yrs)provisional anti-dumping duty announced on 26th August 2019

has resulted into improvement in demand and average realisation improvement in demand and average realisation ,current capacity utilization of CPVC resin is 100%
2- SIOP- now 40% capacity utilization The SIOP segment turned profitable in 1HFY21

Both SIOP and CPVC contributed to 31% to the company’s EBITDA in 9month (FY20: 18%, FY19: 5%).
3-The PVC segment turned profitable and reported segment EBITDA of INR 650M with margins 14.5% (1HFY20: EBITDA loss of 11 million, FY20: EBITDA loss of INR109 million, FY19: INR166 m

mainly on account of a surge in PVC resin prices,
4- Caustic soda and soda ash segment profitability likely to remain subdued and i am not very much optimistic on this commodity business
5-Current revenue of specialty chemical - around 14% and company is focusing on increasing

with current capacity revenue share can increase up to 25-30% of total revenue

THE IMPORTANCE OF DEVI BEEJ / BIJA MANTRA.

Once Suutji in his discourse with King Janmajeya repeated the words of Vyasji regarding the pronounciation of the word ऐ. Vyasji had heard the importance of this word in a meeting of all important saints at Naimisharanya.


There this story was discussed.

In that gathering of such great sages, Rishi Jamdagni asked a question to all the eminent luminaries. He wanted to know which diety is the most revered and gets satisfied easily with our prayers. So Lomash rishi replied that Devi

Bhagwati was one such diety. She will be satisfied and is ready to grant you a boon even if you just say the first letter of her beej mantra. In this context he narrated the story of Satyavrat. The story is as follows.

There lived a Brahmin named Devdutt in Kosal.

He was childless. He arranged for an elaborate yagya for a intelligent son to be born. He invited all the eminent rishi's to conduct this Yagya. Rishi Suhotra, Pael, Brahaspati Yagyavalka were assigned different tasks. Rishi Gobhil was asked to sing the Saamved.

He sang the verses very well, but he had to take respite in order to breathe between two verses. This angered devdutt. He spoke his thoughts to Gobhil rishi.

The rishi got very angry as devdutt did not realise the practicalities of singing. He cursed devdutt that

Right, screw it. Here's a thread on *that* FBLive by Alex Cairnie about #Govanhill. Lets do a watch-through shall we? (Mind, I'm a resident of Govanhill, and a sociologist. I'm also 5'3, and a visibly queer woman so if half his claims are true I should be living in terror)

1:08: "I've been warned to stay out of Govanhill. I'm a marked man" (proceeds to use a beanie as a disguise)

1:30 "Laughing and joking aside, here's somebodys front garden." Proceeds to show litter and claim its thrown from windows and this is 'common'. I know a handful of streets with litter issues like this, but its neither common nor unique to #govanhill and other deprived areas.

2:10 "Don't be under any illusion I'm only showing you the bad bits" - only shows you the bad bits.

3:45: He's had offers of help, but hes said no because hes not responsible for 'anybody elses safety' Good lord.
