Here’s newly-elected QAnon gun nut Rep. Boebert, the morning of the insurrection, referencing 1776.

Here she is that same morning, pushing lies about election fraud.
Here she is that morning calling on all of “us” (IE her fellow MAGAs) to “fight with everything” for a fair election to be achieved.
Here she is live-tweeting the location of members of Congress & the Speaker, as the mob invades the Capitol building. Either she has no regard for maintaining the safety of herself & her colleagues, or—not to start a conspiracy theory—she intentionally relayed info to rioters.
Here she is, after the attack ended, again evoking 1776.
Here she is, after insurrectionists attacked Congress & almost killed her colleagues over what they believe to be a rigged election, again pushing lies about election fraud.
Here she is evoking a call for “freedom”, days after a mob attacked Congress in the name of “freedom”.
Here she is, just a few hours ago, encouraging her followed to keep taking a stand. This, in the backdrop of numerous reports that there are more planned “marches” & “rallies” leading up to, & on, Inauguration Day, & as similar “demonstrations” are happening at State capitols.
Rep. Boebert is an elected member of Congress, responsible for upholding the Constitution to protect us & democracy, still actively inciting insurrection, & doing sedition. She is malicious, she is traitorous, she is dangerous. She needs to be expelled.
@Rschooley makes good points about Boebert & other seditious members of Congress in this thread: https://t.co/QAjADxRUib
More tweets from Boebert, going back to before the insurrection...Here she is calling for people to come to the sedition rally & “stand” with Trump.
LOL, this one I agree with.
Here she is saying her followers need to take back the country by not following the Democrats’ rules. (FYI, lady, they’re Congress’ rules.)
Here she is stoking the lie that Trump will be able to stay in office. She posted this a week before the insurrection, after the electors had already confirmed their votes.
Here she is praising fellow seditious members of Congress, & saying “history will never forget those who stand with the Constitution at this time”—a nod to the “patriots” who would come to DC & breach the Capitol under the belief they were defending the Constitution.
“Fighting for freedom” w Ted Cruz on Jan. 6th—takes on a different meaning now.
4 days before the insurrection, she’s following Trump’s cues & setting up Pence as the fall-guy, & implying it’s ok to not “have Pence’s back” if he doesn’t hand the election to Trump. (Something Pence never had the power to do.)
2 days before the insurrection, she’s suggesting our country will be in grave danger if people don’t “defend election integrity”. She may have meant the votes in Congress to object to the electoral college votes, but the post is a dog-whistle to the MAGA terrorists.
True. But also, in retrospect, inciting. (Whether intentionally or not. And knowing that she encouraged people to show up on Jan. 6th, this tweet from Jan. 4th seems awfully 🤨)
2 days before the insurrection, she implies that followers not back down when people tell them what they can & can’t do. And ties in the Founding Fathers & the “election integrity” fight.
I’m sure there’s other evidence of Boebert inciting & siding w the terrorists who attacked the Capitol. Like this statement she made on the floor as the mob moved in. (As has been pointed out by Watts, @Rschooley & others.) Bottom line, Boebert’s dangerous & needs to be expelled.
Missed this video she put out, after it was confirmed a cop was killed. In it, she gives a weak denouncement of the 1/6 violence, but also spews more lies about election fraud, & scares her followers w claims of Dems wanting to control every part of our lives. https://t.co/7I6aD3pHFV
Oh. I wonder which tyrants she was referring to? https://t.co/cKLPpOnPfz

UK Energy White Paper is here.

I'll tweet the key points here👇

1/

Link to press

UK commits to an Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) from 1 January 2021.

Seems like a win for @beisgovuk, as @hmtreasury was known to be keen on a carbon tax

Exploring the RAB model for new nuclear, as per @emilygosden article in @thetimes this

From press release, doesn't look like that many big new measures. Not surprising, as next year we're expecting:

Some thoughts on the recently announced Critical Worker Benefit. Grab a coffee☕️ #ableg cause this is going to be a thread.🧵

First, let me say that I'm glad @jkenney is finally spending the money @JustinTrudeau sent AB. Overall, this is a good thing. But I have...questions
1/9

First, let's temper our praise here... The Fed Govt sent $$ to every province in MAY 2020 earmarked for critical workers.
This money was always destined for Albertans and Kenney sat on it while other provinces got it out to the workers that needed it.

Why do private sector employees have to rely on their employer to apply and distribute Gov't funds? That seems like a...strange...decision.

What if an employer doesn't know or doesn't bother? What if they don't distribute it properly? Is there any recourse? Just...strange. 3/9

Do employers have to deduct tax? CPP? EI?
What if somebody worked 300 hours during the qualifying period but no longer works for the employer?

Are payroll departments expected to set up a new earnings code just for a one time payment in Alberta? 4/9

What counts to the 300 hours worked between Oct-Jan? Vacation? Sick time? Disability? Leaves of absence?

Or is it strictly hours physically at work?

What if your employer reduced hours or even worse, laid people off? You're outta luck when you need it most? Neat! 5/9

A thread on... where we are as Americans.

Since I was a kid, I've been a 'news junkie'. Read both local newspapers every day, all the newsmagazines, and watched every local & national newscast. I even wrote & voiced a national financial news broadcast for several years.

1/

Even after I left broadcasting, I continued to consume all the news within reach. Religiously watching all the Sunday shows, writing letters to the editor, and plowing into Social Media- when it first started! I even watched all the late-nite comics for their witty snark.

2/

Now, for the first time in my life, I don't. I keep up with events, and still read voraciously, but I just can't watch or read the majority of the corporate news. Because most of it ISN'T news anymore, but a sad self-parody akin to the 1976 Movie 'Network'.

3/

Paddy Chayefsky wrote a scathing satire of a news network so consumed with ratings that it eschewed journalistic ethics in favor of sensationalism and pushing narrow corporate and political interests. That sadly, is no longer parody.

4/

The line between 'hard news' and opinion was erased at most outlets long ago. We no longer talk of 'objectivity' or hearing both sides'. People refer to most (formerly) 'hard news' outlets by their ideological slant, and the agenda they push.

Read this thread to the end...I just had an epiphany and my mind is blown. Actually, more than blown. More like OBLITERATED! This is the thing! This is the thing that will blow the entire thing out of the water!

Has this man been concealing his true identity?

Is this man a supposed 'dead' Seal Team Six soldier?

Witness protection to be kept safe until the right moment when all will be revealed?!

Who ELSE is alive that may have faked their death/gone into witness protection?

Were "golden tickets" inside the envelopes??

Are these "golden tickets" going to lead to their ultimate undoing?

Review crumbs on the board re: 'gold'.

*Heads-up that this thread will feature some extreme examples of homophobia and transphobia.*

Hey folks, have you ever wondered why trans people face constant accusations of fetishism, sexual predation and child abuse/grooming? Well, today let's talk about stochastic terrorism.

So, first we have to talk about what stochastic terrorism actually is. Remember when there was a conspiracy that there was a pedophile ring operating out of a pizza parlour basement, and a crazed gunman showed up? It's that sort of incitement that stochastic terrorism describes.

It's the demonisation or incitement against a group of people or individuals with the intent that other, unaffiliated parties will act upon it; it's the releasing doctored footage and a shooter show up at Planned Parenthood as a direct result of what he's been led to believe.

So with that in mind, let's talk about Russia's extreme anti-LGBT laws that banned the "promotion" of LGBT lifestyles to children. A move that specifically marked LGBT people as a threat to children, and resulted in neo-nazis meting out vigilante "justice" against gay men.

Groups such as this would lure unsuspecting gay men via dating sites, and brutalise and humiliate them on camera. They did so under the guise of combating child abusers, one group calling themselves "Occupy

Gudimallam is a small village located in Chittoor district. It is seven miles away from Tirupati. This small village came to significance, due to it's very beautiful Shiva Mandir with history of thousands of years. 1/n

The main importance of the mandir lies in the Linga which is housed in the Garbhagriha of the temple & considered as the only one of such type. It is the earliest Linga discovered so far and it has been assigned to the 3rd century BCE.(Satavahana period) 2/n
