Operation Rickety Donkey Cart, is well on it’s way to getting us to herd immunity by 2025.

We have to normalize the belief that government, run effectively, makes our lives better.

We have to acknowledge, at long last, Reaganism was poison. And Trumpism is its pure form.

We used to be a great country that did great things like putting men on the moon.

Now we are a silly country that can’t organize itself to distribute a vital medicine with a year’s warning.

We can do it again, but not until we make belief that governance is good again.
This is what did it. This was the beginning of the accelerating decline in our stature I’ve been watching my whole life. I mean, the monsters are *still proud* of this line. They feature it on their website.
Can you imagine that was an applause line for a political party? People who actually wanted to govern?

We need to get these clowns away from the levers of power for good. They always make this self-fulfilling prophecy, and now the cost is in hundreds of thousands of lives lost.
Why is anyone surprised that when clowns like these are in charge they can’t find their ass with two hands and a map?

Normalize the belief that thoughtful and effective governance is good and necessary.
Make that our goal for 2021. Good governance is good for the people.

The McConnels of the world, and other various heirs of Reaganism, poison everything they touch because murder of govt is their avowed belief! “Drown it in the bathtub” is nota viable approach to governance!
And also, let’s consider naming Grover Norquist as one of the fundamental architects of this disaster. Let his name be a curse. Let every one who signed his Americans for Tax Reform pledge, and all the congress critters who bow and grovel before him, be thrown out.
We need to get every one of these malignancies out of government.

Norquist conveniently gathered them all in one place. We should take his pledge and bludgeon them all out of office with it.

They did this to us.

More from Government

How does a government put a legislation on 'hold'? Is there any constitutional mechanism for the executive to 'pause' a validly passed legislation? Genuine Koshan.

So a committee of 'wise men/women' selected by the SC will stand in judgement over the law passed by

Here is the thing - a law can be stayed based on usual methods, it can be held unconstitutional based on violation of the Constitution. There is no shortcut to this based on the say so of even a large number of people, merely because they are loud.

Tomorrow can all the income tax payers also gather up at whichever maidan and ask for repealing the income tax law? It hurts us and we can protest quite loudly.

How can a law be stayed or over-turned based on the nuisance value of the protestors? It is anarchy to allow that.
